miserable_a man_n then_o it_o be_v great_o to_o be_v fear_v that_o thou_o be_v not_o only_o poor_a in_o body_n but_o also_o accurse_v in_o thy_o poverty_n and_o want_v if_o so_o be_v thou_o remain_v thou_o be_v in_o its_o own_o place_n and_o to_o be_v short_a it_o be_v a_o infallible_a sign_n that_o if_o thou_o cry_v not_o out_o because_o of_o thy_o sin_n o_o miserable_a man_n who_o shall_v deliver_v i_o thou_o thyself_o be_v one_o of_o the_o most_o miserable_a man_n that_o live_v upon_o the_o earth_n it_o second_o here_o be_v great_a cause_n of_o mourning_n and_o lamentation_n for_o be_v it_o not_o a_o miserable_a thing_n that_o sin_n which_o be_v so_o common_a in_o the_o world_n among_o name-bearing_a christian_n and_o have_v so_o many_o lamentable_a effect_n be_v so_o little_o complain_v of_o by_o man_n and_o yet_o the_o want_n of_o be_v trouble_v with_o it_o be_v such_o a_o infallible_a sign_n of_o a_o miserable_a soul_n have_v not_o sin_n as_o a_o sea_n overflow_v all_o place_n go_v unto_o the_o house_n shop_n market_n counsel_n court_n consistory_n church_n or_o any_o place_n else_o and_o if_o it_o be_v full_a of_o man_n you_o shall_v find_v it_o to_o be_v full_a of_o sin_n also_o but_o where_o shall_v you_o find_v the_o holy_a complaint_n and_o outcry_n of_o paul_n against_o sin_n where_o shall_v you_o find_v those_o that_o from_o their_o heart_n hold_v themselves_o to_o be_v miserable_a because_o they_o be_v sinful_a and_o make_v the_o sorrow_n for_o their_o sin_n to_o exceed_v all_o their_o other_o sorrow_n as_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n be_v wont_a iniquity_n pro._n 4.16_o there_o be_v also_o those_o that_o build_v their_o house_n and_o hold_v they_o open_v in_o sin_n as_o those_o wicked_a and_o filthy_a alehouse_n and_o worse_o &_o yet_o all_o these_o will_v give_v themselves_o out_o for_o true_a christian_n and_o appropriate_v unto_o themselves_o the_o comfort_n and_o prerogative_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n when_o remain_v as_o they_o be_v they_o have_v no_o part_n in_o they_o which_o be_v a_o thing_n altogether_o lamentable_a and_o miserable_a sin_n three_o this_o serve_v to_o terrify_v and_o affright_v all_o abstinate_a and_o hard_o heart_a man_n which_o drink_v in_o iniquity_n like_o water_n and_o can_v without_o any_o sorrow_n or_o remorse_n of_o conscience_n commit_v and_o digest_v the_o most_o gross_a and_o abominable_a sin_n which_o can_v lie_v swear_v deceive_v drink_v drink_v profane_a the_o sabbath_n or_o do_v any_o wicked_a thing_n else_o and_o yet_o pass_v away_o their_o time_n in_o joy_n and_o mirth_n yea_o and_o boast_v of_o their_o strong_a faith_n and_o that_o they_o be_v sure_a of_o the_o pardon_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o the_o salvation_n of_o their_o soul_n but_o the_o faith_n of_o these_o man_n be_v mad_a and_o foolish_a it_o be_v no_o apostolical_a faith_n it_o be_v not_o of_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o apostle_n paul_n faith_n who_o be_v upon_o good_a ground_n assure_v that_o his_o sin_n be_v forgive_v yet_o be_v trouble_v and_o grieve_v with_o they_o even_o as_o a_o maid_n who_o have_v slip_v into_o folly_n and_o now_o live_v chaste_o mourn_v and_o lament_v all_o her_o life_n long_o because_o of_o the_o scandal_n &_o reproach_n where_o with_o she_o have_v stein_v herself_o although_o she_o be_v forgive_v of_o her_o friend_n and_o companion_n and_o as_o well_o respect_v and_o esteem_v by_o they_o as_o she_o be_v in_o time_n past_a but_o the_o peace_n and_o security_n of_o those_o idle_a and_o vain_a boaster_n arise_v not_o from_o the_o strength_n of_o their_o faith_n but_o only_o from_o this_o that_o they_o have_v a_o dead_a and_o benumb_a conscience_n and_o be_v still_o in_o their_o natural_a state_n where_o sin_n be_v as_o in_o its_o proper_a element_n be_v not_o heavy_a and_o grievous_a but_o look_v before_o thou_o thou_o wretched_a man_n behold_v there_o shall_v a_o judgement_n come_v and_o then_o thou_o shall_v know_v that_o this_o thy_o idle_a joy_n and_o mirth_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o seed_n of_o thy_o eternal_a pain_n and_o torment_n unless_o thou_o do_v in_o time_n turn_v and_o repent_v for_o it_o be_v most_o even_o as_o a_o good_a nature_a child_n when_o he_o have_v commit_v a_o fault_n will_v be_v sorry_a that_o he_o have_v offend_v his_o father_n although_o he_o have_v forgive_v he_o last_o here_o be_v matter_n of_o comfort_n and_o encouragement_n for_o all_o those_o which_o out_o of_o the_o sense_n and_o feel_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o corruption_n be_v unfeigned_o grieve_v and_o trouble_v with_o they_o complain_v and_o cry_v out_o from_o their_o heart_n with_o the_o apostle_n o_o miserable_a man_n that_o i_o be_o who_o shall_v deliver_v i_o from_o this_o body_n of_o death_n oh_o my_o belove_a brethren_n and_o sister_n be_v not_o dismay_v because_o you_o find_v sin_n to_o be_v so_o heavy_a a_o burden_n behold_v it_o must_v be_v so_o if_o you_o will_v be_v ease_v of_o it_o the_o more_o light_a a_o man_n think_v it_o be_v the_o more_o heavy_a and_o grievous_a it_o shall_v fall_v upon_o he_o it_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o you_o be_v in_o a_o joyful_a estate_n if_o your_o great_a sorrow_n and_o iniquity_n of_o our_o sin_n i_o say_v for_o the_o transgression_n &_o iniquity_n of_o our_o sin_n because_o they_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o do_v displease_v he_o the_o child_n of_o the_o world_n which_o be_v dead_a in_o sin_n can_v mourn_v and_o lament_v enough_o for_o the_o punishment_n which_o be_v or_o they_o fear_v will_n come_v upon_o they_o by_o reason_n of_o their_o sin_n but_o it_o be_v the_o property_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n to_o sorrow_n and_o grieve_v because_o by_o their_o sin_n they_o have_v offend_v and_o displease_v their_o good_a and_o gracious_a father_n so_o then_o go_v forwards_o thus_o must_v it_o be_v with_o you_o if_o you_o will_v have_v it_o be_v well_o with_o you_o step_v one_o step_n further_o with_o the_o apostle_n and_o as_o with_o he_o you_o mourn_v because_o of_o the_o wickedness_n of_o your_o sin_n so_o cease_v not_o and_o give_v yourselves_o no_o rest_n till_o with_o he_o also_o you_o find_v yourselves_o to_o be_v deliver_v both_o from_o the_o guilt_n &_o dominion_n of_o sin_n through_o jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n whereof_o by_o his_o assistance_n we_o purpose_v to_o speak_v in_o this_o part_n of_o the_o text_n which_o now_o follow_v text._n here_o the_o apostle_n wish_v to_o be_v deliver_v from_o the_o bady_n of_o death_n o_o miserable_a man_n say_v he_o who_o shall_v deliver_v i_o from_o this_o body_n of_o death_n now_o we_o be_v deliver_v from_o the_o body_n of_o death_n in_o this_o life_n for_o thereunto_o have_v the_o apostle_n respect_n as_o it_o appear_v in_o the_o verse_n follow_v when_o in_o this_o life_n we_o be_v save_v from_o our_o sin_n mat._n 1.21_o namely_o when_o we_o have_v not_o only_o obtain_v forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n but_o be_v also_o strengthen_v against_o the_o power_n of_o sin_n &_o more_o and_o more_o set_v free_a from_o the_o bondage_n thereof_o joh._n 8.32.36_o thus_o the_o apostle_n wish_v here_o that_o the_o power_n of_o his_o corruption_n may_v god_n for_o help_v 2_o chron._n 18.31_o or_o as_o the_o seafaring_a man_n who_o in_o time_n of_o storm_n and_o tempest_n when_o their_o own_o art_n and_o industry_n can_v help_v they_o do_v cry_n unto_o the_o lord_n psal_n 107.28.29_o so_o the_o apostle_n cry_v here_o as_o out_o of_o great_a misery_n and_o affliction_n unto_o god_n for_o help_v know_v that_o it_o must_v come_v only_o from_o he_o for_o sin_n make_v man_n so_o miserable_a that_o nothing_o but_o the_o almighty_a power_n of_o god_n can_v deliver_v he_o for_o by_o sin_n we_o be_v cast_v under_o the_o foot_n of_o satan_n we_o lie_v condemn_v unto_o eternal_a death_n and_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n be_v incense_v &_o kindle_v against_o our_o soul_n for_o which_o who_o know_v in_o himself_o any_o remedy_n judas_n find_v none_o run_v unto_o the_o tree_n but_o paul_n run_v unto_o christ_n vers_fw-la 25._o for_o it_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n alone_o which_o can_v deliver_v the_o wretched_a son_n of_o man_n from_o already_o in_o a_o great_a measure_n free_v from_o the_o might_n of_o sin_n yet_o wish_v thus_o earnest_o to_o be_v deliver_v more_o and_o more_o from_o it_o whereas_o the_o child_n of_o the_o world_n which_o lie_v even_o drown_v therein_o and_o be_v very_a slave_n unto_o it_o yet_o speak_v not_o once_o of_o this_o deliverance_n belove_a it_o come_v from_o this_o that_o the_o apostle_n have_v a_o feeling_n and_o experimental_a knowledge_n of_o the_o misery_n that_o arise_v from_o sin_n and_o therefore_o he_o wish_v to_o be_v deliver_v from_o it_o this_o the_o child_n of_o the_o world_n do_v not_o feel_v and_o therefore_o they_o think_v not_o of_o deliverance_n he_o that_o can_v feel_o and_o unfeigned_o complain_v that_o he_o be_v miserable_a because_o he_o be_v sinful_a he_o will_v it_o that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n according_a to_o his_o infinite_a wisdom_n send_v john_n the_o baptist_n before_o he_o as_o a_o forerunner_n to_o prepare_v the_o way_n for_o he_o by_o teach_v man_n to_o know_v their_o misery_n whereinto_o they_o be_v bring_v through_o sin_n to_o the_o end_n that_o they_o may_v seek_v their_o deliverance_n out_o of_o sin_n through_o christ_n mat._n 3._o for_o this_o cause_n also_o be_v the_o law_n preach_v that_o meâ—_n be_v thereby_o bring_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o their_o misery_n through_o sin_n rom._n 7.7_o may_v the_o better_o be_v drive_v to_o christ_n in_o which_o respect_n the_o law_n be_v call_v our_o leader_n to_o christ_n gal._n 3.24_o in_o this_o regard_n also_o christ_n say_v that_o those_o that_o be_v whole_a have_v unto_o god_n psal_n 147.9_o and_o the_o great_a the_o misery_n and_o affliction_n be_v the_o great_a be_v the_o desire_n to_o be_v deliver_v now_o there_o be_v no_o smart_n like_o unto_o the_o smart_n of_o sin_n unto_o a_o feel_a conscience_n and_o there_o be_v no_o affliction_n like_v unto_o the_o affliction_n of_o the_o conscience_n for_o as_o we_o say_v before_o the_o more_o noble_a and_o excellent_a that_o member_n be_v which_o be_v affect_v with_o any_o sore_n the_o great_a be_v the_o grief_n and_o pain_n thereof_o so_o the_o soul_n be_v the_o most_o worthy_a and_o eminent_a part_n of_o man_n and_o in_o misery_n and_o distress_n the_o sorrow_n and_o grief_n must_v of_o necessity_n be_v great_a and_o the_o desire_n to_o be_v deliver_v from_o it_o equal_a thereunto_o use_v deliverance_n first_o this_o serve_v for_o to_o discover_v unto_o we_o from_o whence_o it_o come_v that_o there_o be_v so_o many_o which_o notwithstanding_o they_o be_v miserable_o possess_v with_o this_o body_n of_o sin_n and_o pollute_v with_o all_o manner_n of_o impious_a transgression_n the_o damnable_a brood_n thereof_o yet_o never_o seek_v for_o their_o deliverance_n true_o it_o come_v as_o it_o be_v receive_v their_o death_n wound_n begin_v present_o to_o decay_v be_v in_o the_o first_o place_n deprive_v of_o that_o excellent_a beauty_n and_o lustre_n wherewith_o they_o be_v clothe_v for_o at_o first_o they_o be_v more_o glorious_a and_o beautiful_a in_o their_o body_n than_o the_o lilly_n in_o paradise_n but_o when_o this_o filthy_a pollution_n have_v once_o overrun_v they_o then_o begin_v they_o to_o be_v ashamed_a of_o their_o own_o body_n and_o to_o cover_v they_o yea_o this_o sin_n so_o wrought_v upon_o they_o that_o by_o reason_n thereof_o they_o can_v not_o pluck_v out_o of_o the_o land_n of_o the_o live_n and_o cast_v into_o everlasting_a darkness_n where_o be_v weep_v wail_v and_o gnash_v of_o tooth_n but_o here_o in_o appear_v the_o wonderful_a and_o unspeakable_a love_a kindness_n patience_n and_o long_o suffer_v of_o god_n invite_v we_o to_o repentance_n and_o salvation_n 3.9_o in_o that_o there_o be_v space_n give_v we_o here_o wherein_o to_o repent_v and_o crucify_v this_o body_n of_o death_n therefore_o it_o be_v the_o great_a madness_n that_o can_v be_v in_o the_o world_n that_o a_o poor_a wretched_a condemn_a caitiff_a dare_v be_v so_o bold_a as_o to_o put_v off_o from_o day_n to_o day_n his_o repentance_n and_o the_o mortify_n of_o the_o wicked_a body_n of_o his_o original_a corruption_n which_o he_o know_v not_o in_o how_o short_a a_o time_n may_v bring_v he_o into_o everlasting_a perdition_n behold_v these_o be_v the_o reason_n for_o which_o the_o apostle_n name_v our_o natural_a corruption_n death_n a_o body_n of_o death_n from_o whence_o arise_v this_o observation_n that_o the_o original_a corruption_n wherein_o we_o be_v all_o conceive_a and_o bear_v be_v a_o most_o deform_a misshape_a body_n of_o death_n a_o monster_n altogether_o ugly_a and_o fearful_a which_o be_v manifest_a in_o that_o it_o not_o only_o corrupt_v and_o destroy_v soul_n and_o body_n but_o also_o bring_v they_o both_o into_o everlasting_a condemnation_n unless_o a_o course_n be_v take_v in_o time_n as_o it_o be_v plain_o prove_v in_o the_o open_n of_o the_o text_n and_o may_v also_o further_o be_v gather_v out_o of_o this_o that_o the_o apostle_n himself_o cry_v out_o so_o earnest_o and_o complain_v that_o he_o be_v a_o miserable_a man_n because_o he_o be_v trouble_v and_o oppress_v therewith_o for_o this_o cause_n be_v it_o that_o natural_a unregenerate_a man_n in_o who_o the_o corrupt_a flesh_n have_v the_o upperhand_n be_v so_o common_o in_o the_o scripture_n compare_v to_o most_o noisome_a and_o hurtful_a creature_n as_o serpent_n and_o viper_n mat_n 23.33_o lion_n psal_n 10.9_o bear_n pro_fw-la 28.15_o raven_a wolf_n mat_n 7.15_o wild_a swine_n psal_n 80.13_o wild_a ass_n job_n 1â—_n 12_o fox_n and_o young_a fox_n which_o spoil_n and_o bring_v to_o naught_o every_o thing_n about_o which_o they_o come_v cant_n 2.15_o yea_o the_o natural_a man_n be_v say_v to_o have_v the_o devil_n to_o his_o father_n joh_n 8.44_o so_o that_o a_o child_n be_v not_o more_o like_a to_o his_o father_n than_o a_o unregenerate_a man_n spiritual_o be_v to_o the_o devil_n and_o judge_v you_o what_o a_o monstrous_a thing_n this_o be_v that_o man_n which_o be_v create_v after_o god_n own_o image_n shall_v now_o be_v liken_v unto_o those_o creature_n aforesaid_a not_o only_o in_o some_o respect_n as_o god_n himself_o be_v unto_o some_o of_o they_o but_o even_o in_o the_o most_o odious_a and_o hateful_a thing_n that_o be_v in_o they_o and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o in_o sin_n and_o wickedness_n to_o resemble_v the_o devil_n himself_o too_o therefore_o the_o scripture_n say_v of_o carnal_a man_n which_o have_v nothing_o in_o they_o but_o nature_n that_o their_o throat_n 3.13.14.15.16_o be_v a_o open_a sepulchre_n the_o poison_n of_o asp_n be_v under_o their_o lip_n their_o mouth_n be_v full_a of_o curse_v and_o bitterness_n their_o foot_n be_v swift_a to_o shed_v blood_n destruction_n and_o calamity_n be_v in_o their_o way_n as_o in_o the_o way_n of_o some_o devour_a monster_n which_o destroy_v and_o spoil_n all_o thing_n where_o he_o pass_v or_o come_v for_o this_o cause_n be_v it_o that_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n who_o eye_n he_o have_v open_v for_o to_o see_v the_o hatefulness_n of_o this_o monster_n our_o natural_a corruption_n which_o we_o all_o bring_v with_o we_o into_o the_o world_n from_o our_o mother_n womb_n have_v rather_o die_v then_o fulfil_v the_o lust_n thereof_o which_o be_v always_o against_o god_n and_o contrary_a to_o his_o holy_a commandment_n such_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o this_o body_n of_o death_n that_o it_o will_v no_o long_o do_v any_o work_n of_o god_n than_o it_o may_v with_o profit_n or_o pleasure_n and_o when_o either_o of_o these_o be_v cross_v then_o farewell_n obedience_n if_o nabuchadnezzar_n command_v contrary_a to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n that_o all_o man_n must_v worship_v the_o golden_a image_n or_o else_o be_v cast_v into_o the_o fiery_a furnace_n natural_a corruption_n flesh_n and_o blood_n will_v straight_o way_n conclude_v that_o it_o be_v best_o to_o obey_v the_o king_n but_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n which_o know_v the_o hatefulness_n of_o this_o monster_n will_v rather_o undergo_v the_o punishment_n then_o give_v it_o his_o desire_n if_o that_o adulterous_a woman_n potiphars_n wife_n shall_v go_v about_o to_o draw_v joseph_n to_o commit_v folly_n with_o she_o this_o monster_n our_o natural_a corruption_n will_v present_o consent_v but_o joseph_n the_o servant_n of_o god_n rather_o than_o he_o will_v do_v so_o will_v leave_v his_o garment_n behind_o and_o venture_v his_o life_n too_o for_o he_o know_v that_o this_o body_n of_o death_n be_v a_o fearful_a ugly_a monster_n the_o lust_n whereof_o be_v enmity_n to_o god_n yea_o the_o accurse_a unregenerate_a wretch_n themselves_o who_o joy_n delight_n and_o chief_a happiness_n be_v place_v in_o please_v their_o corrupt_a &_o sinful_a flesh_n and_o who_o only_a care_n and_o study_v be_v to_o satisfy_v the_o lust_n of_o this_o vile_a and_o
filthy_a monster_n so_o that_o they_o can_v sleep_v till_o such_o time_n as_o they_o have_v give_v it_o its_o fill_n of_o disobedience_n and_o iniquity_n when_o they_o once_o through_o some_o stir_n of_o their_o conscience_n come_v to_o have_v their_o eye_n open_v whereby_o they_o begin_v to_o perceive_v the_o terriblenesse_n of_o this_o monster_n they_o become_v hateful_a and_o fearful_a unto_o their_o own_o self_n and_o oftentimes_o murder_v themselves_o hope_v thereby_o to_o get_v out_o of_o the_o sight_n and_o presence_n of_o that_o grim_a &_o hellish_a monster_n which_o now_o they_o begin_v to_o see_v in_o themselves_o whereat_o they_o be_v affright_v as_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v with_o judas_n and_o many_o other_o now_o the_o reason_n for_o which_o original_a sin_n or_o natural_a corruption_n may_v true_o be_v hold_v to_o be_v such_o a_o hateful_a and_o deadly_a monster_n may_v beside_o that_o which_o shall_v be_v hereafter_o speak_v be_v take_v out_o of_o those_o reason_n which_o we_o have_v already_o give_v in_o the_o open_n of_o the_o text_n wherein_o we_o show_v wherefore_o this_o natural_a corruption_n be_v term_v a_o body_n of_o death_n and_o if_o so_o be_v that_o it_o be_v a_o monstrous_a thing_n when_o in_o a_o body_n the_o member_n be_v all_o misshape_a and_o misplace_v and_o moreover_o in_o themselves_o exceed_o deprave_a so_o must_v this_o natural_a corruption_n need_v be_v hold_v to_o be_v a_o monstrous_a thing_n wherein_o the_o understanding_n which_o shall_v be_v governor_n and_o leader_n of_o the_o will_n and_o fleshly_a lust_n and_o affection_n not_o only_o lie_v subdue_v under_o they_o both_o but_o also_o be_v in_o itself_o utter_o obscure_v &_o darken_v and_o the_o will_n and_o affection_n in_o themselves_o altogether_o pervert_v and_o disorder_v furthermore_o if_o the_o death_n and_o pollution_n of_o body_n and_o soul_n if_o a_o deadly_a brood_n of_o all_o manner_n of_o heinous_a and_o deadly_a sin_n nay_o if_o eternal_a death_n and_o damnation_n be_v most_o odious_a and_o terrible_a thing_n than_o this_o natural_a corruption_n must_v needs_o be_v judge_v to_o be_v a_o hateful_a and_o fearful_a thing_n which_o occasion_v and_o bring_v forth_o all_o these_o thing_n as_o be_v make_v manifest_a before_o in_o the_o open_n of_o the_o text_n wherefore_o we_o conclude_v as_o we_o begin_v that_o the_o natural_a corruption_n wherein_o we_o be_v all_o conceive_a and_o bear_v and_o which_o we_o all_o bring_v into_o the_o world_n with_o we_o from_o our_o mother_n womb_n be_v a_o most_o ugly_a deform_a body_n of_o death_n a_o fearful_a and_o deadly_a monster_n it_o now_o let_v we_o see_v what_o use_v we_o can_v make_v of_o that_o which_o have_v be_v speak_v and_o in_o the_o first_o place_n here_o be_v great_a cause_n of_o mourning_n and_o lamentation_n even_o because_o that_o although_o this_o body_n of_o death_n our_o natural_a corruption_n which_o in_o every_o place_n be_v know_v by_o the_o name_n of_o brittle_a weak_a and_o corrupt_a flesh_n be_v such_o a_o abominable_a and_o deadly_a monster_n as_o that_o it_o deserve_v and_o aught_o to_o be_v of_o every_o one_o persecute_v and_o hunt_v even_o to_o death_n yet_o be_v so_o general_o serve_v and_o obey_v in_o the_o lust_n thereof_o as_o at_o this_o day_n it_o be_v behold_v and_o mark_v the_o course_n of_o the_o world_n and_o consider_v well_o the_o action_n of_o the_o most_o part_n of_o man_n and_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o they_o tend_v chief_o to_o the_o fulfil_n and_o satisfy_v the_o desire_n of_o this_o horrible_a monster_n their_o corrupt_a flesh_n to_o the_o susteyn_v and_o support_v of_o it_o and_o to_o the_o give_v it_o the_o fill_n of_o whatsoever_o it_o require_v if_o it_o will_v have_v man_n eat_v till_o they_o surfeit_v and_o drink_v till_o they_o be_v drink_v you_o shall_v find_v multitude_n of_o they_o that_o will_v do_v it_o although_o they_o shall_v eat_v and_o drink_v up_o good_n body_n and_o soul_n and_o all_o if_o it_o lust_v after_o wantonness_n you_o shall_v find_v those_o that_o fit_a and_o address_v themselves_o for_o that_o also_o by_o lurk_v here_o and_o there_o in_o corner_n gaze_v and_o stare_v out_o at_o window_n and_o door_n and_o frequent_v dishonest_a place_n or_o by_o use_v idle_a and_o immodest_a exercise_n as_o lascivious_a dance_n wanton_a sport_v amorous_a song_n corrupt_a and_o rot_a communication_n stuff_v with_o vain_a and_o unfruitful_a jest_n and_o profane_a passage_n and_o that_o upon_o the_o sabbath_n day_n the_o which_o although_o some_o seem_v to_o observe_v and_o keep_v by_o rest_v from_o the_o work_n of_o their_o call_n and_o serve_v the_o world_n yet_o you_o shall_v have_v the_o same_o man_n profane_a and_o violate_v that_o bless_a day_n which_o god_n have_v set_v apart_o for_o his_o own_o service_n by_o do_v the_o work_n of_o their_o corrupt_a flesh_n and_o toil_a to_o serve_v it_o in_o the_o lust_n thereof_o as_o in_o take_v their_o carnal_a sport_n and_o such_o pas_fw-fr time_n as_o their_o base_a and_o sensual_a affection_n shall_v lead_v they_o unto_o when_o they_o shall_v be_v best_o employ_v in_o spiritual_a exercise_n whereas_o if_o they_o see_v their_o spiritual_a estate_n and_o be_v sensible_a of_o the_o want_v thereof_o they_o will_v think_v one_o day_n too_o little_a for_o they_o to_o spend_v in_o bewail_v their_o sin_n &_o misery_n in_o prayer_n meditation_n read_v and_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o god_n or_o if_o they_o do_v but_o know_v and_o due_o consider_v the_o wonderful_a bountifulness_n mercy_n patience_n and_o long-suffering_a of_o god_n who_o have_v so_o safe_o protect_v they_o so_o careful_o provide_v for_o they_o and_o so_o merciful_o spare_v they_o notwithstanding_o their_o sin_n &_o unworthiness_n they_o will_v think_v that_o time_n rather_o too_o short_a then_o too_o long_o for_o they_o to_o bless_v he_o and_o praise_v he_o enough_o and_o to_o spend_v in_o godly_a and_o sanctify_a discourse_n and_o conference_n upon_o those_o thing_n which_o appertain_v and_o tend_v to_o god_n glory_n and_o their_o own_o mutual_a comfort_n and_o edification_n in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n furthermore_o how_o many_o do_v we_o see_v who_o daily_a practice_n and_o trade_n of_o life_n be_v to_o fulfil_v and_o satisfy_v the_o lust_n and_o desire_n of_o this_o vile_a and_o ugly_a monster_n their_o corrupt_a flesh_n in_o lie_v deceive_a usury_n seek_v unlawful_a and_o ungodly_a gain_n slander_v and_o backbiting_a their_o neighbour_n undermine_v for_o office_n and_o place_n of_o dignity_n by_o a_o thousand_o ungodly_a and_o sinister_a mean_n and_o device_n and_o infinite_a way_n else_o which_o will_v be_v too_o long_o here_o to_o be_v repeat_v so_o that_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n most_o lamentable_a and_o never_o enough_o to_o be_v bewail_v that_o man_n that_o excellent_a creature_n which_o at_o first_o be_v create_v to_o serve_v the_o lord_n his_o god_n in_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n all_o the_o day_n of_o his_o life_n to_o his_o everlasting_a comfort_n shall_v be_v find_v to_o be_v so_o base_a as_o to_o sell_v himself_o to_o be_v a_o slave_n and_o a_o drudge_n to_o his_o corrupt_a and_o sinful_a flesh_n and_o to_o serve_v it_o in_o the_o vile_a and_o contemptible_a lust_n and_o appetite_n thereof_o to_o his_o everlasting_a woe_n and_o destruction_n yea_o i_o say_v that_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n altogether_o lamentable_a that_o this_o body_n of_o death_n this_o pernicious_a and_o deadly_a monster_n our_o natural_a corruption_n shall_v be_v thus_o diligent_o obey_v and_o serve_v notwithstanding_o the_o wage_n thereof_o be_v death_n eternal_a both_o of_o soul_n and_o body_n when_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n the_o service_n of_o our_o good_a and_o gracious_a god_n be_v utter_o neglect_v and_o yet_o the_o reward_n which_o he_o offer_v be_v everlasting_a joy_n and_o happiness_n monster_n in_o the_o second_o place_n this_o serve_v to_o warn_v and_o admonish_v all_o the_o child_n of_o man_n that_o they_o take_v good_a notice_n of_o this_o cruel_a and_o deadly_a monster_n which_o keep_v all_o this_o quarter_n in_o the_o world_n and_o which_o they_o all_o have_v bring_v with_o themselves_o into_o the_o world_n when_o some_o noisome_a beast_n be_v discover_v to_o be_v in_o a_o country_n the_o people_n of_o the_o same_o be_v not_o a_o little_a move_v therewith_o how_o do_v they_o bestir_v themselves_o consult_v and_o lay_v their_o head_n and_o help_v together_o to_o chase_v it_o or_o ensnare_v it_o that_o they_o may_v by_o some_o mean_n bring_v it_o to_o death_n how_o shall_v we_o then_o behave_v ourselves_o which_o have_v receive_v such_o credible_a and_o certain_a information_n
