suffering_n but_o he_o hide_v the_o strength_n and_o the_o consolation_n either_o satan_n hold_v forth_o the_o suffer_v alone_o or_o else_o if_o he_o do_v mention_v any_o strength_n or_o comfort_n that_o a_o gracious_a soul_n shall_v have_v in_o the_o suffering_n it_o be_v but_o the_o same_o strength_n that_o he_o have_v now_o he_o do_v speak_v of_o the_o strength_n he_o shall_v have_v then_o and_o the_o great_a consolation_n that_o he_o shall_v have_v then_o when_o the_o suffering_n come_v and_o so_o these_o be_v part_v the_o suffer_a and_o the_o consolation_n be_v part_v now_o our_o faith_n fail_v when_o ever_o therefore_o this_o temptation_n do_v come_v upon_o you_o answer_v thus_o satan_n here_o thou_o bring_v the_o suffering_n before_o i_o and_o cause_v that_o to_o come_v before_o i_o but_o thou_o do_v not_o tell_v i_o of_o the_o strength_n i_o shall_v have_v and_o of_o the_o consolation_n i_o shall_v receive_v satan_n i_o shall_v not_o have_v the_o strength_n i_o have_v now_o nor_o the_o consolation_n i_o have_v now_o but_o i_o shall_v have_v more_o strength_n then_o when_o the_o suffering_n come_v and_o i_o shall_v have_v more_o consolation_n when_o as_o the_o affliction_n come_v than_o i_o have_v before_o keep_v these_o together_o do_v look_v only_a upon_o the_o one_o side_n of_o your_o suffering_n and_o witness-bearing_a but_o look_v upon_o both_o side_n together_o and_o thus_o you_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o stand_v and_o ride_v out_o the_o storm_n of_o this_o temptation_n but_o you_o will_v say_v quest_n we_o have_v hear_v of_o the_o several_a blow_n that_o satan_n give_v unto_o our_o faith_n unto_o the_o faith_n of_o reliance_n unto_o the_o faith_n of_o assurance_n and_o unto_o the_o faith_n of_o acknowledgement_n how_o he_o labour_v to_o weaken_v all_o these_o our_o faith_n and_o how_o we_o shall_v bear_v off_o all_o these_o blow_n but_o there_o may_v be_v yet_o some_o temptation_n possible_o that_o do_v not_o fall_v within_o the_o compass_n of_o these_o temptation_n these_o direction_n be_v point_v against_o these_o particular_a temptation_n but_o i_o have_v other_o temptation_n that_o do_v fall_v within_o the_o compass_n of_o these_o whereby_o satan_n labour_v to_o weaken_v my_o faith_n and_o to_o make_v my_o faith_n to_o fail_v what_o general_a rule_n and_o direction_n may_v be_v give_v by_o which_o a_o man_n shall_v so_o walk_v as_o that_o satan_n may_v not_o make_v his_o faith_n to_o fail_v in_o the_o time_n of_o his_o temptation_n first_n answ_n 1_o before_o your_o temptation_n come_v while_o you_o be_v upon_o christ_n yes_o answ_n for_o he_o be_v make_v a_o curse_n for_o sin_n he_o and_o none_o else_o make_v a_o curse_n for_o sin_n and_o therefore_o it_o belong_v unto_o he_o above_o all_o the_o world_n for_o to_o bless_v for_o look_v what_o evil_a jesus_n christ_n endure_v the_o contrary_a good_a he_o merit_v for_o the_o child_n of_o man_n a_o power_n to_o bestow_v that_o good_a now_o he_o above_o all_o be_v curse_v hang_v upon_o the_o cross_n and_o die_v a_o curse_a death_n he_o be_v make_v a_o curse_n therefore_o it_o belong_v unto_o he_o above_o all_o for_o to_o give_v the_o blessing_n for_o to_o bless_v poor_a sinner_n primum_fw-la in_o quolibet_fw-la genere_fw-la etc._n etc._n the_o first_o in_o every_o kind_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o the_o rest_n the_o sun_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o all_o the_o light_n we_o have_v here_o below_o and_o it_o be_v the_o first_o light_n body_n and_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n he_o be_v the_o first_o blessing_n therefore_o have_v they_o god_n blessed_v thou_o for_o ever_o there_o be_v three_o that_o we_o read_v of_o in_o scripture_n especial_o that_o do_v bless_v the_o father_n the_o king_n and_o the_o priest_n the_o father_n do_v bless_v his_o child_n the_o king_n blessed_v his_o subject_n and_o the_o priest_n blessed_v the_o people_n now_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n he_o be_v our_o father_n the_o everlasting_a father_n he_o be_v our_o king_n i_o will_v set_v my_o king_n upon_o my_o holy_a hill_n and_o he_o be_v our_o great_a highpriest_n and_o therefore_o all_o these_o relation_n meet_v in_o he_o it_o belong_v unto_o he_o above_o all_o for_o to_o bless_v the_o people_n but_o be_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n will_v for_o to_o bless_v poor_a sinner_n quest_n 3_o and_o incline_v unto_o it_o yes_o answ_n he_o be_v very_o willing_a this_o blessing_n of_o the_o people_n it_o be_v a_o work_n whereunto_o he_o be_v much_o incline_v and_o wherein_o he_o be_v most_o delight_v you_o shall_v observe_v therefore_o what_o abundance_n of_o blessing_n christ_n scatter_v among_o the_o people_n when_o he_o be_v here_o upon_o the_o earth_n you_o do_v read_v that_o ever_o he_o curse_v any_o man_n formal_o curse_v he_o once_o indeed_o he_o pronounce_v a_o curse_n but_o it_o fall_v upon_o a_o barren_a figtree_n not_o upon_o a_o man_n but_o take_v your_o bibles_n and_o turn_v over_o from_o leaf_n to_o leaf_n and_o see_v how_o frequent_a he_o be_v in_o blessing_n and_o consider_v whether_o you_o do_v read_v in_o all_o the_o bible_n of_o any_o preacher_n or_o prophet_n
