time_n this_o be_v another_o argument_n why_o the_o lord_n will_v restore_v israel_n even_o that_o he_o may_v give_v a_o proof_n of_o the_o constancy_n of_o his_o covenant_n for_o i_o be_o the_o and_o david_n house_n to_o show_v that_o however_o he_o will_v prefer_v judabâ—_n tent_n to_o they_o in_o the_o matter_n of_o speedy_a help_n yet_o he_o will_v not_o reject_v they_o in_o that_o day_n shall_v the_o lord_n defend_v the_o inhabitant_n of_o jerusalem_n etc._n etc._n 2._o the_o lord_n protection_n be_v the_o sure_a safeguard_n of_o his_o church_n beyond_o any_o thing_n they_o get_v refreshment_n that_o their_o people_n be_v reconcile_v to_o god_n 4._o it_o be_v a_o great_a evidence_n of_o piety_n when_o any_o be_v full_o persuade_v of_o the_o truth_n they_o receive_v and_o general_o assent_v to_o when_o truth_n be_v not_o receive_v in_o a_o fleet_a superficial_a way_n but_o root_v in_o the_o heart_n so_o that_o what_o they_o say_v they_o say_v it_o in_o their_o heart_n 5._o a_o people_n reconcile_v unto_o god_n be_v the_o great_a strength_n of_o a_o kingdom_n or_o nation_n and_o they_o will_v prove_v help_n to_o it_o indeed_o how_o contemptible_a soever_o they_o convert_v as_o a_o nation_n doct._n 1._o faith_n and_o hope_n in_o god_n will_v never_o be_v ashamed_a but_o these_o who_o promise_v themselves_o much_o good_a in_o god_n shall_v find_v it_o so_o for_o the_o governor_n of_o judah_n who_o expect_v strength_n in_o god_n v._o 5._o do_v get_v what_o they_o expect_v and_o be_v make_v like_o a_o hearth_n of_o fire_n etc._n etc._n 2._o enemy_n of_o right_a hand_n and_o on_o the_o left_a which_o do_v not_o point_n at_o the_o church_n cruelty_n but_o at_o the_o way_n of_o enemy_n be_v ruin_v 4._o no_o opposition_n make_v unto_o the_o church_n will_v be_v able_a to_o make_v any_o promise_n give_v unto_o she_o or_o gracious_a purpose_n of_o god_n concern_v she_o ineffectual_a for_o notwithstanding_o all_o their_o enemy_n or_o war_n and_o follow_v on_o not_o serious_a walk_n in_o they_o as_o be_v near_o a_o kin_n to_o it_o you_o have_v go_v away_o by_o apostasy_n from_o my_o ordinance_n and_o have_v not_o keep_v they_o 3._o it_o set_v out_o the_o great_a mercy_n of_o god_n that_o after_o much_o apostasy_n he_o offer_v reconciliation_n upon_o repentance_n and_o this_o offer_n do_v high_o aggravate_v impenitency_n return_v to_o i_o and_o i_o will_v returue_v to_o you_o say_v the_o lord_n of_o host_n 4._o it_o be_v a_o ordinary_a plague_n and_o judgement_n upon_o they_o who_o be_v deep_a engage_v in_o sin_n that_o the_o custom_n of_o sin_n make_v they_o that_o they_o consider_v not_o that_o they_o do_v evil_a that_o they_o see_v least_o need_n of_o repentance_n and_o be_v most_o hard_o convince_v but_o you_o say_v wherein_o v._o 7._o of_o go_v away_o from_o his_o ordinance_n by_o withhold_v tithe_n and_o offering_n 2._o to_o withhold_v maintenance_n from_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o word_n be_v a_o rob_n of_o god_n for_o not_o only_a where_o that_o be_v withhold_v his_o service_n be_v slight_v also_o tithe_n and_o offering_n go_v together_o but_o it_o be_v a_o affront_a of_o god_n who_o have_v command_v the_o contrary_a a_o deprive_v he_o of_o that_o which_o be_v consecrate_v to_o he_o and_o dedicate_v to_o his_o public_a worship_n and_o a_o affront_a of_o his_o service_n as_o if_o it_o be_v not_o worth_a any_o expense_n and_o so_o make_v man_n to_o faint_v in_o it_o you_o have_v rob_v i_o in_o tithe_n and_o offering_n 3._o man_n may_v be_v do_v great_a injury_n to_o god_n when_o yet_o they_o will_v not_o see_v it_o nor_o apprehend_v how_o much_o god_n be_v reflect_v on_o by_o their_o way_n or_o how_o deep_a their_o iniquity_n draw_v for_o so_o do_v their_o exception_n to_o the_o challenge_n
