and_o also_o do_v then_o good_a to_o his_o power_n by_o his_o desire_n to_o be_v join_v to_o christ_n jesus_n and_o last_o by_o his_o hatred_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o god_n hate_v which_o though_o they_o do_v often_o overtake_v he_o yet_o he_o love_v himself_o the_o less_o because_o he_o can_v hate_v they_o no_o more_o and_o think_v the_o worse_a of_o himself_o because_o he_o love_v they_o at_o all_o these_o thing_n who_o so_o can_v find_v in_o himself_o he_o love_v god_n and_o obey_v this_o commandment_n though_o not_o in_o perfection_n for_o no_o man_n can_v in_o his_o nature_n and_o indeed_o it_o be_v not_o needful_a that_o any_o of_o we_o shall_v for_o christ_n do_v it_o for_o we_o yet_o in_o uprightness_n and_o in_o some_o good_a measure_n and_o he_o serve_v god_n with_o property_n we_o give_v he_o all_o our_o soul_n set_v our_o affection_n on_o nothing_o in_o earth_n beside_o he_o delight_v in_o he_o alone_o and_o in_o nothing_o but_o that_o which_o carry_v a_o stamp_n of_o his_o goodness_n the_o next_o duty_n that_o be_v here_o command_v be_v the_o fear_n of_o god_n a_o duty_n proceed_v from_o knowledge_n also_o for_o as_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n goodness_n and_o mercy_n and_o truth_n will_v inflame_v the_o hart_n with_o a_o love_n of_o he_o so_o if_o one_o behold_v and_o consider_v his_o greatness_n and_o his_o power_n and_o his_o excellency_n over_o all_o his_o creature_n this_o will_v strike_v his_o hart_n with_o a_o wonderful_a reverence_n &_o a_o great_a fear_n of_o his_o majesty_n as_o also_o he_o that_o know_v god_n power_n that_o he_o can_v do_v what_o he_o will_v and_o his_o mercy_n that_o he_o will_v do_v what_o be_v needful_a for_o the_o good_a of_o his_o child_n this_o will_v make_v he_o trust_v whole_o in_o god_n but_o for_o this_o fear_n a_o objection_n must_v first_o be_v answer_v for_o 1._o john_n 4._o he_o say_v perfect_a love_n cast_v out_o fear_n and_o luke_n 1._o we_o be_v deliver_v from_o all_o our_o enemy_n that_o we_o may_v serve_v he_o without_o fear_n to_o this_o we_o answer_v that_o perfect_a love_n cast_v out_o fear_n namely_o a_o slavish_a fear_n and_o such_o as_o be_v in_o the_o devil_n who_o tremble_v before_o god_n but_o so_o as_o they_o run_v from_o he_o such_o as_o be_v in_o wicked_a man_n when_o the_o threaten_n of_o god_n arrest_v their_o evil_a conscience_n and_o summon_v their_o wicked_a heart_n and_o draw_v they_o before_o god_n judgement_n seat_n &_o make_v they_o therefore_o not_o love_v god_n word_n and_o ministry_n but_o hate_v it_o &_o cast_v off_o all_o care_n of_o godliness_n and_o religion_n from_o they_o but_o it_o be_v true_a that_o whosoever_o love_v god_n can_v choose_v but_o in_o the_o same_o measure_n also_o fear_v he_o for_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n that_o persuade_v they_o of_o his_o favour_n and_o work_v love_n will_v declare_v his_o power_n and_o greatness_n which_o will_v work_v a_o fear_n and_o awe_n of_o he_o it_o cast_v out_o the_o hellish_a fear_n that_o make_v one_o fly_v from_o god_n but_o it_o cause_v that_o holy_a fear_n that_o make_v one_o more_o careful_a to_o come_v unto_o he_o and_o to_o worship_v he_o we_o must_v then_o love_n god_n with_o our_o whole_a heart_n and_o soul_n and_o mind_n so_o that_o we_o fear_v nothing_o but_o in_o he_o and_o for_o he_o and_o that_o with_o such_o a_o fear_n as_o must_v draw_v we_o unto_o he_o but_o terrifieng_v our_o heart_n from_o commit_v all_o evil_a it_o must_v be_v a_o fear_n mingle_v with_o love_n and_o confidence_n that_o must_v be_v holy_a and_o crucify_v and_o restrain_v all_o ill_a affection_n and_o desire_n this_o be_v command_v isai_n 8._o 13._o sanctify_v the_o lord_n in_o your_o heart_n and_o let_v he_o be_v your_o fear_n and_o your_o dread_n power_n will_v never_o stand_v in_o fear_n of_o a_o man_n for_o he_o know_v the_o power_n of_o god_n be_v great_a they_o the_o power_n of_o man_n he_o that_o give_v he_o the_o praise_n of_o his_o unjust_a to_o they_o because_o they_o be_v carnal_a and_o fleshly_a and_o not_o have_v faith_n in_o god_n promise_n nor_o any_o desire_n to_o obey_v he_o they_o will_v still_o have_v shift_n and_o something_o to_o say_v against_o it_o the_o hart_n be_v dead_a and_o wicked_a or_o else_o the_o law_n will_v bring_v comfort_n oh_o how_o shall_v one_o do_v for_o recreation_n say_v some_o be_v it_o not_o a_o recreation_n for_o a_o christian_n to_o hear_v the_o voice_n of_o a_o christian_n and_o for_o a_o sheep_n of_o christ_n to_o feed_v in_o his_o pasture_n be_v it_o not_o a_o recreation_n for_o a_o person_n condemn_v to_o come_v where_o he_o may_v get_v his_o pardon_n seal_v to_o he_o be_v it_o not_o a_o recreation_n for_o a_o man_n subject_n to_o death_n to_o hear_v a_o direction_n that_o will_v lead_v he_o to_o life_n therefore_o if_o we_o be_v not_o altogether_o senseless_a and_o blockish_a in_o respect_n of_o spiritual_a sense_n and_o life_n it_o will_v be_v as_o great_a a_o joy_n for_o we_o to_o feed_v at_o his_o table_n and_o in_o his_o house_n upon_o the_o bread_n of_o life_n as_o in_o our_o own_o house_n upon_o corruptible_a bread_n and_o again_o can_v christ_n find_v in_o his_o hart_n for_o our_o sake_n willing_o to_o bestow_v his_o soul_n &_o body_n and_o give_v his_o body_n to_o death_n and_o his_o soul_n to_o suffer_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o shall_v we_o account_v it_o a_o burden_n to_o bestow_v one_o day_n in_o seven_o upon_o he_o to_o be_v make_v partaker_n especial_o of_o such_o benefit_n and_o god_n have_v willing_o give_v we_o six_o for_o our_o call_n and_o may_v we_o not_o well_o afford_v the_o seven_o to_o our_o soul_n but_o we_o have_v such_o business_n we_o can_v do_v it_o but_o for_o matter_n of_o business_n god_n show_v two_o thing_n that_o if_o one_o will_v observe_v shall_v easy_o prevent_v these_o business_n first_o six_o day_n shall_v thou_o do_v all_o thy_o work_n where_o he_o show_v that_o if_o one_o will_v labour_v faithful_o and_o conscionablie_o in_o their_o call_n upon_o six_o day_n they_o may_v well_o dispatch_v their_o business_n but_o indeed_o this_o make_v man_n so_o loath_a to_o give_v a_o seven_o day_n to_o god_n because_o have_v be_v idle_a and_o unthriftie_a on_o the_o six_o they_o have_v neglect_v some_o business_n that_o now_o lie_v upon_o they_o the_o seven_o day_n and_o then_o it_o be_v a_o great_a burden_n indeed_o and_o impossible_a for_o such_o to_o keep_v it_o but_o they_o must_v loose_v by_o it_o but_o god_n commandment_n bring_v no_o such_o loss_n their_o own_o sin_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o it_o and_o if_o this_o be_v not_o the_o cause_n than_o the_o other_o be_v man_n take_v more_o upon_o they_o than_o their_o own_o work_n for_o if_o one_o take_v nothing_o but_o his_o work_n he_o may_v dispatch_v all_o well_o in_o six_o day_n if_o one_o serve_v god_n in_o his_o call_n his_o calling_z will_v not_o hinder_v he_o from_o keep_v god_n commandment_n but_o if_o one_o busy_a body_n but_o let_v any_o man_n be_v faithful_a in_o his_o call_n on_o the_o six_o day_n and_o not_o through_o greediness_n encumber_v himself_o with_o more_o than_o be_v needful_a and_o he_o shall_v see_v he_o may_v easy_o keep_v this_o seven_o to_o god_n there_o be_v no_o cause_n of_o such_o complain_n against_o it_o and_o indeed_o to_o a_o spiritual_a hart_n that_o have_v any_o grace_n &_o measure_n of_o god_n spirit_n how_o ever_o it_o seem_v to_o carnal_a man_n it_o be_v most_o just_a and_o equal_a yea_o most_o sweet_a and_o comfortable_a so_o that_o they_o can_v with_o all_o their_o heart_n thank_v god_n that_o he_o have_v give_v they_o one_o day_n wherein_o they_o may_v lighten_v their_o heart_n of_o all_o worldly_a care_n and_o throw_v of_o all_o grief_n &_o thought_n of_o debt_n or_o such_o like_a to_o give_v themselves_o whole_o to_o seek_v comfort_n in_o he_o that_o will_v provide_v for_o they_o in_o due_a time_n and_o have_v provide_v this_o sabbath_n as_o a_o ease_n unto_o they_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o trouble_v themselves_o with_o any_o such_o thought_n on_o that_o day_n and_o thus_o much_o to_o prove_v that_o the_o keep_n of_o a_o seven_o day_n have_v more_o excellent_a mean_n a_o great_a perfection_n be_v require_v of_o us._n as_o also_o to_o show_v that_o every_o one_o must_v make_v a_o preparation_n for_o the_o sabbath_n both_o by_o dispatch_v his_o business_n as_o nothing_o may_v be_v leave_v undo_v till_o the_o sabbath_n and_o by_o behave_v himself_o so_o in_o the_o business_n as_o his_o affection_n may_v not_o be_v to_o much_o tie_v unto_o they_o for_o the_o former_a will_v hinder_v the_o rest_n of_o the_o sabbath_n and_o the_o latter_a the_o holiness_n of_o it_o therefore_o that_o we_o may_v keep_v a_o holy_a rest_n he_o must_v do_v all_o that_o he_o have_v to_o do_v upon_o the_o six_o day_n and_o if_o he_o take_v more_o upon_o he_o than_o he_o can_v finish_v in_o the_o space_n of_o six_o day_n it_o be_v more_o than_o god_n lay_v upon_o he_o and_o he_o do_v not_o labour_n for_o conscience_n sake_n but_o for_o covetousness_n sake_n and_o this_o be_v not_o his_o work_n but_o the_o work_n of_o his_o corruption_n and_o then_o second_o a_o man_n must_v draw_v his_o hart_n from_o the_o love_n of_o the_o world_n &_o worldly_a thing_n and_o then_o neither_o worldly_a loss_n will_v fill_v his_o hart_n full_a of_o worldly_a grief_n nor_o commodity_n with_o worldly_a delight_n which_o two_o thing_n will_v hinder_v he_o from_o delight_v in_o spiritual_a exercise_n so_o that_o he_o that_o will_v empty_v his_o hand_n of_o all_o worldly_a business_n and_o his_o hart_n of_o worldly_a affection_n shall_v be_v able_a with_o comfort_n to_o keep_v a_o rest_n and_o a_o holy_a rest_n unto_o god_n and_o for_o the_o first_o reason_n draw_v from_o the_o equity_n of_o god_n commandment_n that_o have_v give_v we_o the_o large_a allowance_n of_o six_o day_n and_o take_v the_o small_a pittance_n of_o one_o day_n unto_o himself_o have_v deal_v in_o great_a equity_n with_o we_o so_o that_o one_o must_v not_o go_v about_o to_o make_v hypocritical_a shift_n and_o excuse_n for_o if_o he_o do_v it_o be_v not_o from_o the_o hardness_n of_o the_o law_n but_o the_o hardness_n of_o his_o hart_n not_o from_o difficulty_n in_o the_o thing_n but_o want_v of_o love_n in_o the_o person_n for_o nothing_o be_v so_o easy_a but_o a_o worldly_a hart_n that_o love_v not_o god_n will_v be_v shift_v and_o have_v some_o odd_a reason_n against_o it_o now_o we_o must_v speak_v of_o the_o second_o reason_n it_o be_v the_o sabbath_n of_o the_o lord_n thy_o god_n in_o which_o god_n let_v we_o know_v that_o he_o which_o be_v our_o god_n and_o the_o mighty_a strong_a god_n have_v impropriate_v this_o to_o himself_o as_o his_o own_o possession_n set_v a_o part_n for_o his_o own_o service_n therefore_o we_o must_v willing_o
before_o their_o child_n shall_v make_v even_o with_o they_o and_o revenge_n and_o quit_v there_o parent_n wrong_n to_o the_o full_a by_o the_o like_a favage_a deal_n with_o they_o a_o second_o duty_n so_o unnatural_a and_o unthankful_a be_v they_o the_o use_n of_o all_o these_o duty_n to_o those_o who_o parent_n be_v not_o alive_a be_v to_o look_v that_o their_o sin_n be_v not_o alive_a after_o their_o parent_n death_n and_o therefore_o to_o examine_v themselves_o whether_o they_o have_v be_v faulty_a in_o any_o of_o these_o thing_n and_o if_o they_o do_v repent_v for_o it_o and_o desire_v pardon_n else_o they_o be_v liable_a to_o two_o plague_n first_o that_o their_o child_n shall_v take_v their_o parent_n quarrel_v in_o hand_n and_o requite_v their_o wicked_a deal_n in_o what_o ever_o duty_n they_o have_v fail_v and_o have_v not_o repent_v of_o it_o and_o second_o that_o as_o honour_v parent_n bring_v a_o long_a and_o happy_a life_n so_o their_o dishonour_v their_o parent_n shall_v make_v they_o have_v a_o short_a life_n and_o miserable_a or_o if_o a_o long_a life_n yet_o full_a of_o god_n curse_n for_o their_o unrepented_a son_n therefore_o let_v such_o as_o be_v now_o fatherless_a mark_v themselves_o and_o find_v that_o their_o child_n be_v stubborn_a against_o they_o and_o unthankful_a and_o rebellion_n every_o way_n as_o many_o may_v see_v it_o open_o and_o woeful_o let_v call_v themselves_o back_o and_o see_v what_o kind_n of_o child_n they_o be_v before_o how_o they_o behave_v themselves_o to_o their_o parent_n whether_o they_o be_v not_o all_o together_o faulty_a in_o this_o point_n if_o it_o be_v so_o let_v they_o confesle_v that_o their_o own_o sin_n have_v find_v they_o out_o and_o be_v turn_v open_a let_v they_o acknowledge_v that_o god_n be_v just_a and_o have_v give_v the_o same_o measure_n into_o their_o bosom_n their_o own_o evil_n be_v fall_v upon_o their_o own_o head_n they_o dig_v a_o pit_n in_o their_o youth_n and_o now_o in_o their_o age_n be_v fall_v into_o it_o and_o thus_o much_o of_o the_o duty_n of_o child_n now_o follow_v the_o duty_n of_o parent_n to_o their_o child_n for_o under_o the_o duty_n of_o inferior_a excellent_a a_o man_n and_o so_o worthy_a a_o preacher_n and_o member_n of_o the_o church_n because_o his_o mother_n feed_v his_o soul_n as_o well_o as_o his_o body_n the_o second_o duty_n of_o parent_n to_o their_o child_n in_o their_o young_a year_n be_v to_o correct_v they_o to_o give_v they_o correction_n which_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o the_o proverb_n command_v often_o and_o show_v any_o other_o such_o like_a deal_n if_o ever_o he_o will_v have_v god_n hear_v his_o prayer_n and_o receive_v his_o sacrifice_n before_o his_o offering_n he_o must_v make_v recompense_n the_o interest_n and_o the_o five_o part_n etc._n etc._n i_o but_o he_o be_v go_v i_o know_v he_o not_o or_o can_v tell_v where_o to_o have_v he_o i_o but_o do_v you_o know_v none_o of_o his_o kindred_n answer_v and_o he_o must_v restore_v it_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o other_o conceal_v his_o name_n and_o particular_a fault_n as_o thus_o he_o may_v speak_v there_o be_v a_o man_n that_o in_o neglect_v confession_n and_o this_o further_a a_o man_n must_v covenant_n with_o himself_o that_o if_o ever_o it_o please_v god_n to_o give_v he_o ability_n he_o will_v be_v answerable_a to_o the_o full_a to_o all_o such_o wrong_n and_o then_o as_o we_o be_v in_o affection_n so_o god_n will_v account_v we_o indeed_o if_o one_o can_v say_v in_o truth_n of_o heart_n o_o lord_n i_o confess_v my_o fault_n to_o thou_o and_o have_v confess_v it_o also_o to_o the_o person_n who_o i_o have_v offend_v and_o though_o i_o be_v not_o able_a to_o recompense_v he_o yet_o i_o resolve_v with_o myself_o and_o make_v a_o covenant_n with_o my_o own_o conscience_n that_o if_o ever_o i_o have_v it_o i_o will_v pay_v he_o and_o if_o i_o have_v it_o now_o i_o will_v differ_v no_o long_o he_o shall_v have_v it_o now_o in_o mean_a time_n i_o will_v not_o cease_v to_o supply_v that_o by_o my_o prayer_n which_o by_o reason_n of_o poverty_n be_v want_v in_o my_o payment_n that_o my_o humble_a suit_n to_o god_n for_o he_o may_v as_o much_o profit_n he_o as_o my_o sin_n against_o god_n and_o against_o he_o have_v endamage_v he_o thus_o if_o a_o man_n do_v god_n will_v accept_v he_o and_o esteem_v of_o and_o therefore_o we_o see_v how_o he_o go_v about_o crafty_o to_o bring_v he_o in_o danger_n under_o a_o show_n of_o friendship_n and_o forsooth_o do_v bear_v such_o a_o good_a mind_n to_o david_n that_o worthy_a man_n and_o faithful_a captain_n that_o have_v venture_v his_o life_n for_o god_n cause_n and_o in_o the_o defence_n of_o his_o people_n as_o that_o he_o will_v free_o and_o willing_o admit_v he_o to_o so_o near_o a_o place_n as_o to_o be_v the_o king_n son_n in_o law_n and_o therefore_o if_o david_n be_v as_o willing_a to_o accept_v of_o his_o offer_n in_o kindness_n

out_o of_o his_o hand_n why_o he_o now_o can_v not_o bear_v this_o but_o begin_v to_o mock_v who_o say_v he_o i_o pray_v you_o make_v you_o of_o the_o king_n counsel_n be_v you_o become_v a_o counsellor_n now_o to_o tell_v the_o king_n what_o he_o have_v to_o do_v go_v to_o hold_v your_o peace_n lest_o you_o be_v smite_v for_o your_o pain_n the_o prophet_n see_v he_o to_o despise_v the_o rebuke_n of_o god_n and_o then_o he_o will_v not_o bestow_v so_o much_o cost_v as_o to_o give_v he_o any_o more_o admonition_n on_o he_o but_o well_o say_v he_o i_o will_v hold_v my_o peace_n as_o have_v be_v well_o but_o when_o he_o will_v do_v sinful_o and_o then_o refuse_v to_o be_v admonish_v then_o in_o truth_n he_o must_v needs_o be_v destroy_v and_o so_o he_o be_v short_o after_o most_o fearful_o and_o strange_o by_o the_o hand_n god_n and_o neither_o his_o kingdom_n nor_o his_o wealth_n nor_o any_o thing_n can_v keep_v off_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n and_o destruction_n from_o he_o so_o then_o will_v we_o show_v that_o we_o do_v in_o truth_n beeleeve_v that_o these_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n we_o must_v when_o any_o man_n shall_v press_v any_o of_o these_o law_n unto_o we_o straight_o way_n yield_v and_o stoop_v unto_o they_o and_o we_o do_v then_o confess_v that_o god_n speak_v all_o these_o word_n but_o if_o one_o begin_v to_o shift_v and_o cloak_n and_o colour_n and_o distinguish_v than_o he_o declare_v evident_o that_o his_o hart_n be_v not_o persuade_v that_o god_n be_v the_o author_n of_o these_o law_n the_o second_o use_n that_o we_o must_v make_v of_o they_o in_o our_o life_n though_o the_o atheist_n and_o the_o profane_a swine_n of_o the_o world_n mock_v and_o scoff_n at_o we_o never_o so_o much_o for_o the_o same_o for_o what_o need_n we_o be_v ashamed_a to_o maintain_v those_o word_n which_o god_n himself_o be_v not_o ashamed_a in_o his_o own_o person_n to_o speak_v if_o we_o do_v remember_v what_o christ_n say_v he_o that_o be_v ashamed_a of_o i_o before_o man_n in_o this_o world_n i_o will_v be_v ashamed_a of_o he_o before_o my_o father_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v if_o god_n have_v but_o send_v his_o angel_n unto_o we_o with_o any_o commandment_n the_o gloriousnesse_n of_o such_o messenger_n shall_v have_v might_n to_o make_v we_o bold_a to_o defend_v and_o stand_v for_o the_o message_n but_o since_o god_n do_v not_o send_v a_o host_n of_o angel_n but_o come_v himself_o in_o his_o magestie_n accompany_v with_o all_o his_o holy_a angel_n attend_v and_o wait_v one_o he_o shall_v we_o not_o now_o give_v much_o more_o make_v no_o question_n of_o the_o inward_a motion_n of_o the_o soul_n because_o man_n can_v bring_v in_o no_o proof_n of_o the_o breach_n of_o such_o a_o law_n nor_o can_v have_v no_o witness_n of_o such_o fault_n but_o god_n search_v the_o hart_n and_o tri_v the_o reins_n &_o enter_v into_o the_o secret_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o therefore_o he_o command_v to_o love_v he_o with_o all_o our_o hart_n and_o with_o all_o our_o soul_n not_o content_v with_o such_o a_o love_n only_o as_o be_v declare_v by_o the_o outward_a behaviour_n of_o the_o body_n and_o so_o for_o our_o neighbour_n he_o command_v every_o one_o to_o love_v his_o neighbour_n as_o himself_o now_o we_o know_v that_o man_n do_v love_v themselves_o with_o a_o deep_a and_o inward_a love_n not_o outward_o only_a in_o salutation_n and_o courtesy_n and_o good_a speech_n but_o every_o man_n love_v himself_o in_o truth_n with_o a_o good_a meaning_n and_o in_o good_a earnest_n not_o dissemble_o so_o must_v all_o the_o obedience_n perform_v to_o god_n proceed_v from_o within_o and_o come_v from_o the_o hart_n else_o it_o shall_v be_v no_o whit_n acceptable_a to_o he_o that_o that_o grow_v without_o if_o it_o come_v not_o from_o the_o root_n of_o uprightness_n and_o sincerity_n
stand_v resolute_a for_o the_o cause_n of_o god_n and_o show_v the_o king_n plain_o that_o they_o will_v not_o dishonour_v god_n to_o please_v he_o or_o for_o his_o anger_n if_o god_n will_v they_o know_v that_o he_o can_v deliver_v they_o if_o he_o will_v not_o yet_o this_o they_o let_v he_o know_v that_o they_o will_v not_o incur_v god_n anger_n and_o danger_n of_o everlasting_a death_n for_o fear_n of_o any_o bodily_a death_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a side_n so_o far_o as_o any_o man_n have_v not_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n but_o fear_v man_n more_o than_o god_n than_o they_o will_v think_v that_o he_o have_v make_v a_o very_a good_a shift_n if_o he_o can_v escape_v by_o that_o mean_n this_o be_v now_o to_o make_v man_n a_o god_n and_o god_n a_o idol_n when_o one_o will_v seek_v to_o make_v the_o face_n of_o man_n mild_a and_o gentle_a by_o make_v god_n face_n angry_a &_o frown_a so_o those_o that_o when_o they_o be_v in_o distress_n and_o in_o some_o need_n by_o poverty_n will_v venture_v to_o help_v themselves_o by_o break_v god_n saboth_o &_o take_v time_n from_o his_o worship_n to_o labour_v for_o their_o own_o gain_n this_o be_v plain_a that_o they_o fear_v the_o fear_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o do_v not_o make_v god_n their_o dread_n for_o if_o they_o do_v it_o be_v most_o sure_a they_o will_v depart_v from_o evil_a so_o he_o that_o fear_v god_n no_o hope_n of_o promotion_n or_o outward_a benefit_n can_v make_v he_o consent_v to_o wickedness_n as_o joseph_n may_v in_o likelihood_n have_v be_v a_o great_a gainer_n and_o get_v much_o promotion_n by_o yield_v to_o the_o wicked_a and_o filthy_a allurement_n of_o his_o mistress_n yet_o he_o will_v not_o give_v the_o least_o mark_n of_o consent_v because_o he_o be_v afraid_a to_o sin_n against_o god_n so_o in_o isa_n 51._o 12._o who_o be_v thou_o that_o fear_v mortal_a man_n that_o must_v be_v give_v to_o the_o worm_n and_o forget_v thy_o god_n that_o do_v spread_v out_o the_o heaven_n the_o great_a fear_n of_o man_n power_n arise_v from_o the_o forget_n of_o god_n free_a power_n when_o one_o be_v in_o such_o a_o terror_n of_o man_n that_o be_v but_o dust_n and_o can_v defend_v himself_o the_o soveraintie_n and_o command_n of_o his_o hart_n and_o not_o god_n such_o a_o one_o have_v not_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n but_o if_o one_o delight_n to_o confer_v of_o god_n law_n and_o take_v his_o great_a pleasure_n in_o speak_v and_o think_v of_o god_n commandment_n such_o a_o one_o may_v conclude_v with_o himself_o assure_o that_o he_o have_v that_o fear_n of_o god_n in_o his_o hart_n so_o far_o he_o be_v well_o content_a with_o that_o which_o he_o have_v and_o he_o that_o do_v not_o think_v his_o own_o enough_o for_o himself_o it_o be_v sure_a he_o be_v covetous_a after_o a_o other_o man_n i_o but_o how_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o one_o can_v be_v content_v i_o have_v so_o many_o want_n &_o can_v see_v no_o mean_n to_o supply_v they_o how_o will_v you_o have_v one_o content_n now_o and_o have_v not_o enough_o maintenance_n nor_o can_v tell_v how_o to_o get_v it_o nay_o if_o one_o be_v a_o christian_n he_o have_v enough_o to_o maintain_v he_o for_o he_o have_v get_v and_o keep_v get_v thing_n must_v be_v by_o some_o faithful_a labour_n in_o a_o honest_a call_n and_o by_o honest_a deal_n in_o the_o call_n as_o ephes_n 4._o 28._o let_v he_o that_o steal_v steal_v no_o more_o but_o labour_n with_o his_o hand_n that_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a to_o thievery_n which_o be_v a_o breach_n of_o this_o commandment_n and_o idleness_n which_o be_v a_o kind_n as_o be_v to_o be_v see_v in_o stage_n player_n and_o such_o like_a that_o draw_v the_o people_n away_o to_o vanity_n which_o take_v pain_n indeed_o but_o be_v be_v no_o profitable_a pain_n and_o therefore_o it_o bring_v no_o profit_n either_o to_o their_o soul_n or_o body_n but_o bring_v they_o a_o hard_a heart_n and_o a_o wicked_a hand_n and_o a_o miserable_a estate_n that_o of_o all_o man_n they_o be_v the_o most_o profane_a and_o lewd_a therefore_o as_o a_o man_n must_v not_o be_v idle_a for_o a_o idle_a man_n can_v be_v a_o honest_a man_n so_o this_o must_v always_o be_v provide_v that_o he_o labour_v in_o a_o honest_a and_o lawful_a thing_n else_o one_o may_v toil_v and_o spend_v his_o body_n in_o toil_a and_o be_v never_o a_o whit_n the_o honest_a man_n if_o he_o serve_v
