can_v be_v more_o holy_a 2._o as_o from_o the_o cause_n so_o from_o the_o effect_n the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o divine_a truth_n set_v home_o by_o the_o work_n and_o spiritual_a power_n of_o god_n be_v effectual_a to_o beget_v grace_n and_o produce_v holiness_n in_o the_o heart_n hence_o we_o find_v rom._n 1.16_o the_o gospel_n be_v call_v the_o power_n of_o god_n unto_o salvation_n and_o 1_o who_o be_v the_o dog_n and_o the_o swine_n both_o signify_v one_o and_o the_o same_o sort_n of_o man_n in_o general_a yet_o they_o speak_v a_o distinction_n between_o obstinate_a and_o wicked_a man_n in_o the_o general_n none_o but_o obstinate_a and_o very_a irreprovable_a man_n these_o be_v the_o dog_n and_o swine_n they_o be_v call_v dog_n in_o relation_n to_o their_o cruelty_n fierceness_n and_o rage_n against_o the_o gospel_n when_o it_o be_v offer_v to_o they_o as_o a_o check_n to_o their_o lust_n and_o restraint_n to_o their_o abomination_n as_o dog_n enrage_v will_v fly_v at_o a_o man_n when_o they_o be_v whip_v and_o beat_v for_o the_o mischief_n they_o do_v they_o will_v turn_v again_o and_o fly_v at_o his_o face_n so_o say_v our_o saviour_n christ_n there_o be_v a_o sort_n of_o man_n in_o the_o world_n to_o who_o if_o you_o speak_v never_o so_o serious_o savoury_o charitable_o and_o holy_o yet_o like_o dog_n they_o will_v turn_v again_o and_o rend_v you_o by_o swine_n he_o denote_v another_o sort_n of_o obstinate_a opposer_n one_o denote_v they_o furious_a this_o luxurious_a so_o as_o to_o be_v grow_v in_o love_n with_o their_o filthy_a way_n their_o sin_n and_o
