condition_n and_o limitation_n and_o the_o soul_n conceive_v itself_o either_o not_o within_o the_o bound_n of_o the_o promise_n or_o unable_a to_o fulfil_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o promise_n or_o that_o it_o may_v make_v a_o false_a application_n of_o the_o promise_n and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o come_v to_o a_o poor_a droop_a soul_n that_o fear_v its_o condition_n and_o have_v a_o true_a though_o a_o tremble_a hand_n of_o faith_n for_o faith_n may_v have_v the_o palsy_n and_o urge_v the_o faithfulness_n of_o god_n in_o promise_v the_o sureness_n of_o the_o promise_n once_o make_v the_o unchangeable_a nature_n of_o god_n they_o will_v tell_v you_o they_o do_v not_o a_o jot_n question_v this_o they_o know_v god_n be_v not_o man_n that_o he_o shall_v lie_v nor_o yet_o as_o the_o son_n of_o man_n that_o he_o shall_v repent_v they_o know_v that_o he_o be_v both_o faithful_a and_o true_a but_o the_o promise_n they_o fear_v be_v not_o make_v to_o they_o they_o indeed_o rest_v upon_o they_o but_o whether_o right_o or_o no_o god_n know_v they_o conceive_v that_o either_o the_o promise_n be_v make_v to_o particular_a person_n as_o to_o the_o nation_n of_o the_o jew_n or_o they_o be_v sure_a to_o the_o particular_a number_n of_o god_n elect_n of_o which_o they_o be_v none_o etc._n etc._n they_o will_v tell_v you_o that_o indeed_o the_o promise_n be_v true_a but_o they_o persuade_v they_o of_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o promise_n in_o general_a the_o cause_n of_o their_o tremble_a lie_v not_o here_o for_o fear_v that_o the_o promise_n shall_v fail_v those_o to_o who_o it_o belong_v but_o for_o fear_v that_o they_o shall_v misapply_v and_o misunderstand_v the_o faithful_a and_o true_a promise_n of_o god_n and_o now_o although_o we_o must_v say_v concern_v this_o tremble_a this_o be_v also_o our_o infirmity_n yet_o none_o can_v deny_v that_o it_o be_v a_o hereditary_a disease_n to_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n and_o will_v be_v in_o we_o more_o or_o less_o so_o long_o as_o any_o of_o we_o be_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o so_o long_o as_o sin_n remain_v in_o our_o flesh_n and_o will_v be_v especial_o and_o most_o in_o those_o that_o have_v lie_v under_o great_a fear_n and_o terror_n and_o be_v new_o get_v out_o of_o they_o and_o begin_v to_o have_v a_o little_a of_o the_o light_n of_o comfort_n glimmer_v upon_o they_o even_o as_o a_o man_n that_o shall_v come_v out_o of_o a_o horrid_a and_o dark_a dungeon_n where_o he_o have_v be_v in_o darkness_n thick_a darkness_n into_o the_o glare_a sight_n of_o the_o sun_n in_o the_o top_n of_o the_o meridian_n 9_o first_o thought_n he_o see_v man_n like_o tree_n and_o this_o tremble_a may_v consist_v with_o true_a dependence_n job._n 13._o 15._o though_o he_o kill_v i_o yet_o i_o will_v trust_v in_o he_o the_o last_v word_n yet_o i_o will_v trust_v in_o he_o argue_v faith_n and_o a_o strong_a faith_n faith_n that_o he_o will_v trust_v a_o strong_a faith_n that_o yet_o he_o will_v trust_v and_o yet_o whoso_o consider_v the_o first_o word_n that_o job_n apprehend_v himself_o in_o a_o danger_n of_o kill_v will_v easy_o think_v that_o it_o be_v a_o tremble_a faith_n that_o job_n there_o act_v and_o as_o it_o be_v ordinary_a with_o poor_a christian_n through_o their_o infirmity_n to_o believe_v tremble_o in_o the_o begin_n of_o their_o conversion_n so_o there_o be_v also_o another_o time_n when_o but_o god_n child_n have_v and_o act_n and_o must_v act_v true_a faith_n in_o this_o save_n and_o justify_v act_n of_o reliance_n and_o dependency_n but_o i_o be_o sure_a this_o they_o can_v do_v upon_o the_o soul_n and_o put_v a_o shake_n into_o the_o heart_n of_o

have_v get_v beyond_o their_o rugged_a way_n and_o be_v past_o the_o threshold_n may_v be_v thicken_v through_o the_o remain_a vapour_n of_o corruption_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o christian_a it_o may_v be_v eclipse_v through_o the_o withdraw_n of_o the_o favour_n of_o god_n from_o it_o by_o the_o interposition_n of_o the_o devil_n this_o be_v possible_a the_o experience_n of_o david_n and_o
