general_a council_n bind_v not_o the_o absent_a till_o they_o receive_v they_o and_o the_o french_a long_o receive_v not_o the_o council_n of_o trent_n nor_o many_o church_n other_o council_n l._n what_o be_v the_o last_o canon_n m._n the_o 141st_o for_o so_o many_o church-commandment_n we_o have_v god_n ten_o being_n but_o a_o little_a part_n of_o our_o religion_n be_v whoever_o shall_v affirm_v that_o the_o sacred_a synod_n assemble_v as_o aforesaid_a be_v a_o company_n of_o such_o person_n as_o do_v conspire_v together_o against_o godly_a and_o religious_a professor_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o that_o therefore_o both_o they_o and_o their_o proceed_n in_o make_v canon_n and_o constitution_n in_o cause_n ecclesiastical_a by_o the_o king_n authority_n let_v they_o be_v excommunicate_v and_o not_o restore_v etc._n etc._n here_o again_o we_o doubt_v not_o of_o the_o king_n be_v obligatory_a power_n but_o what_o the_o person_n and_o their_o work_n be_v i_o think_v a_o point_n that_o christian_n may_v differ_v about_o and_o not_o deserve_v excommunication_n it_o seem_v they_o can_v foresee_v what_o man_n will_v judge_v of_o they_o and_o no_o wonder_n though_o they_o have_v not_o the_o gift_n of_o prophecy_n i_o be_o none_o of_o their_o judge_n but_o leave_v god_n work_n to_o himself_o but_o i_o must_v say_v that_o this_o book_n of_o canon_n do_v no_o whit_n increase_v my_o esteem_n of_o council_n of_o prelacy_n of_o humane_a canon_n or_o clergy_n law_n nor_o of_o the_o particular_a bishop_n and_o clergy_n that_o make_v they_o and_o that_o i_o will_v neither_o publish_v such_o excommunication_n nor_o promise_n or_o swear_v to_o do_v it_o though_o i_o know_v that_o stretch_a pretence_n satisfy_v some_o man_n like_o they_o that_o own_o the_o name_n of_o sacred_a to_o that_o synod_n because_o sacrum_n quod_fw-la sanctum_fw-la simul_fw-la execrabile_fw-la signat_fw-la a_o profess_a and_o relative_a sanctity_n may_v be_v grant_v they_o chap._n
