fountain_n and_o wellspring_n of_o all_o other_o justice_n certain_o god_n in_o his_o nature_n and_o will_n be_v so_o just_a that_o no_o unjust_a thing_n can_v not_o only_o be_v find_v in_o he_o but_o withal_o likewise_o he_o can_v endure_v no_o iniquity_n in_o his_o creature_n for_o the_o will_n of_o god_n be_v not_o only_o just_a continual_o but_o also_o it_o be_v the_o only_a imitable_a chap._n 23._o fvrthermore_o that_o every_o man_n may_v the_o more_o safe_o exercise_v himself_o in_o this_o doctrine_n of_o predestination_n and_o profit_v sound_o in_o it_o these_o four_o head_n very_o commit_v of_o their_o wickedness_n that_o it_o may_v be_v make_v know_v unto_o they_o and_o their_o fellow_n heir_n out_o of_o how_o great_a a_o mischief_n the_o grace_n of_o god_n can_v deliver_v they_o as_o augustine_n speak_v moreover_o 8._o tom._n 7._o colum._n 170_o rom._n 8._o although_o the_o holy_a spirit_n do_v govern_v the_o child_n of_o god_n yet_o many_o time_n it_o no_o where_n say_v that_o this_o or_o that_o man_n in_o particular_a be_v a_o reprobate_n therefore_o let_v not_o this_o or_o that_o man_n think_v himself_o of_o the_o number_n of_o the_o reprobate_n which_o if_o he_o shall_v do_v and_o believe_v that_o he_o be_v a_o reprobate_n he_o be_v injurious_a against_o god_n and_o envious_a of_o his_o own_o salvation_n but_o let_v he_o much_o diligent_o unto_o the_o end_n because_o it_o so_o please_v and_o seem_v good_a unto_o he_o so_o he_o alone_a and_o none_o other_o be_v the_o only_a cause_n of_o his_o will_n for_o none_o can_v prescribe_v any_o thing_n unto_o he_o because_o no_o man_n be_v superior_a or_o equal_a unto_o he_o therefore_o in_o as_o much_o as_o he_o save_v some_o by_o grace_n and_o condemn_v other_o in_o justice_n we_o ought_v to_o seek_v no_o other_o cause_n hereof_o but_o only_o his_o determinate_a will_n and_o absolute_a good_a pleasure_n and_o that_o he_o have_v ordain_v certain_a unto_o destruction_n it_o be_v as_o certain_a as_o god_n himself_o be_v god_n for_o if_o he_o be_v willing_a simple_o and_o absolute_o to_o save_v all_o and_o every_o one_o then_o sure_o he_o will_v give_v all_o man_n all_o thing_n necessary_a unto_o salvation_n but_o he_o give_v not_o all_o man_n all_o thing_n necessary_a unto_o salvation_n therefore_o he_o will_v not_o save_v all_o and_o every_o one_o for_o he_o that_o deny_v a_o man_n the_o mean_n to_o attain_v unto_o some_o end_n do_v much_o more_o deny_v he_o the_o end_n itself_o for_o he_o that_o bestow_v not_o the_o lesser_a upon_o a_o man_n how_o will_v he_o bestow_v that_o which_o be_v great_a a_o short_a conclusion_n of_o this_o work_n show_v the_o chief_a use_n thereof_o and_o exhort_v every_o of_o the_o godly_a unto_o thankfulness_n and_o sincerity_n of_o life_n chap._n 39_o the_o use_n of_o this_o doctrine_n be_v very_o great_a and_o above_o all_o most_o wholesome_a first_o that_o all_o the_o praise_n and_o glory_n of_o our_o salvation_n shall_v be_v cause_n in_o we_o wherefore_o he_o shall_v give_v we_o no_o not_o the_o least_o drop_n of_o cold_a water_n so_o that_o by_o choose_v we_o altogether_o most_o unworthy_a he_o have_v make_v we_o worthy_a through_o the_o worthiness_n of_o his_o son_n therefore_o this_o free_a and_o everlasting_a election_n have_v the_o goodness_n of_o god_n and_o the_o merit_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o worthiness_n thereof_o for_o his_o sure_a foundation_n and_o ground_n for_o if_o the_o son_n of_o god_n have_v not_o be_v willing_a to_o suffer_v and_o satisfy_v for_o our_o sin_n and_o if_o god_n have_v not_o be_v willing_a to_o impute_v this_o his_o satisfaction_n unto_o we_o for_o righteousness_n not_o one_o of_o we_o have_v be_v elect_v unto_o salvation_n but_o every_o one_o have_v be_v condemn_v unto_o everlasting_a death_n so_o that_o in_o this_o election_n the_o great_a and_o incredible_a goodness_n of_o god_n and_o the_o most_o vehement_a and_o affectionate_a love_n of_o god_n towards_o we_o do_v appear_v as_o in_o a_o most_o clear_a mirror_n second_o all_o that_o embrace_v the_o pure_a doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o do_v by_o a_o true_a faith_n believe_v in_o christ_n and_o persevere_v in_o he_o have_v strong_a and_o excellent_a consolation_n from_o hence_o in_o that_o they_o be_v elect_v from_o everlasting_a unto_o eternal_a salvation_n without_o any_o merit_n either_o forego_n or_o follow_v and_o that_o this_o bless_a and_o save_a decree_n concern_v our_o salvation_n be_v unchangeable_a and_o therefore_o that_o they_o can_v no_o more_o fail_v and_o be_v prevent_v of_o salvation_n and_o heavenly_a glory_n than_o god_n can_v be_v separate_v from_o his_o godhead_n for_o as_o god_n be_v everlasting_a and_o unchangeable_a by_o nature_n so_o also_o that_o his_o decree_n and_o good_a pleasure_n concern_v the_o salvation_n of_o the_o elect_n be_v everlasting_a and_o unchangeable_a for_o the_o unchangeableness_n sake_n of_o this_o decree_n all_o and_o every_o of_o they_o which_o true_o believe_v in_o christ_n have_v most_o strong_a and_o certain_a consolation_n with_o which_o they_o may_v comfort_v and_o refresh_v themselves_o in_o adversity_n and_o other_o spiritual_a temptation_n wherefore_o all_o idolatry_n and_o superstition_n all_o hypocrisy_n and_o unbelief_n all_o false_a doctrine_n and_o desperation_n be_v condemn_v and_o set_v aside_o let_v we_o from_o the_o bottom_n of_o our_o heart_n and_o inward_a affection_n give_v thanks_o unto_o god_n and_o to_o his_o son_n because_o that_o we_o be_v free_o elect_v by_o god_n from_o everlasting_a and_o full_o redeem_v by_o christ_n from_o all_o evil_a and_o shall_v so_o remain_v elect_v and_o redeem_v for_o ever_o without_o any_o disturbance_n let_v we_o therefore_o all_o and_o every_o of_o we_o with_o the_o whole_a affection_n of_o our_o mind_n hearty_o with_o one_o mind_n and_o one_o mouth_n beseech_v the_o most_o merciful_a son_n of_o god_n our_o redeemer_n that_o he_o will_v purge_v we_o from_o the_o filthiness_n of_o our_o sin_n by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o spirit_n and_o renew_v and_o fashion_v we_o daily_o more_o and_o more_o unto_o his_o own_o
