supreme_a end_n of_o all_o thing_n because_o he_o be_v the_o supreme_a good_a and_o the_o only_a adequate_a object_n of_o himself_o so_o that_o in_o the_o production_n of_o any_o effect_n the_o effect_n that_o be_v produce_v or_o any_o thing_n without_o the_o first_o be_v can_v not_o be_v the_o ultimate_a end_n for_o which_o it_o shall_v be_v produce_v for_o his_o will_n be_v and_o be_v fill_v with_o a_o infinite_a good_a viz._n himself_o so_o that_o it_o be_v impossible_a he_o shall_v take_v any_o thing_n into_o that_o will_n which_o be_v not_o in_o order_n to_o himself_o he_o make_v all_o thing_n for_o his_o own_o self_n and_o upon_o this_o ground_n it_o follow_v that_o nothing_o without_o he_o be_v a_o end_n to_o itself_o because_o he_o that_o be_v the_o first_o cause_n different_a degree_n of_o thing_n the_o impression_n be_v more_o or_o less_o genuine_a for_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o any_o thing_n can_v be_v denominate_v good_a but_o by_o a_o conformity_n in_o some_o measure_n to_o that_o which_o be_v the_o first_o goodness_n that_o conformity_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o that_o impression_n of_o divine_a goodness_n upon_o the_o creature_n this_o and_o desire_n who_o place_v that_o activity_n in_o any_o thing_n to_o let_v out_o and_o unite_v that_o goodness_n that_o be_v in_o it_o to_o that_o desire_n and_o vacuity_n the_o very_a warmth_n of_o our_o clothes_n the_o nutriment_n of_o our_o body_n do_v bespeak_v a_o infinite_a rational_a communicative_a goodness_n that_o define_v these_o correspondency_n and_o have_v teach_v the_o creature_n those_o mutual_a motion_n for_o their_o own_o and_o each_o other_o good_a while_o they_o themselves_o know_v not_o what_o or_o why_o they_o do_v it_o 7._o from_o the_o former_a consideration_n it_o follow_v most_o evident_o that_o he_o be_v most_o just_a and_o that_o it_o be_v impossible_a he_o can_v be_v otherwise_o and_o this_o as_o it_o necessary_o result_v from_o the_o admission_n of_o his_o the_o similar_v action_n of_o the_o first_o cause_n towards_o his_o creature_n will_v be_v comely_a and_o just_a in_o a_o rational_a creature_n and_o questionless_a as_o the_o irrational_a creature_n have_v certain_a instinct_n plant_v in_o they_o by_o their_o first_o creation_n which_o though_o they_o be_v not_o proper_o law_n but_o inclination_n to_o man_n as_o he_o come_v out_o of_o the_o hand_n of_o his_o maker_n with_o the_o impression_n of_o his_o image_n upon_o he_o have_v some_o conformity_n to_o the_o supreme_a justice_n without_o any_o reference_n to_o any_o command_n which_o as_o either_o be_v adequate_a to_o the_o sensitive_a nature_n viz._n that_o they_o shall_v be_v act_v with_o due_a proportion_n and_o to_o the_o end_n for_o which_o they_o be_v so_o implant_v in_o our_o nature_n or_o such_o as_o be_v applicable_a to_o they_o in_o respect_n of_o that_o high_a degree_n of_o be_v that_o be_v in_o our_o nature_n viz._n that_o they_o shall_v be_v act_v with_o subordination_n to_o the_o dictate_v of_o right_a reason_n and_o when_o either_o of_o these_o fail_n even_o these_o natural_a propension_n do_v become_v lust_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o fight_v against_o the_o soul_n for_o they_o be_v not_o in_o their_o place_n and_o consequent_o breed_v a_o disorder_n in_o the_o soul._n this_o be_v easy_a to_o be_v see_v in_o the_o consideration_n of_o both_o of_o these_o defect_n the_o appetite_n of_o eat_v and_o drink_v be_v no_o lust_n but_o a_o propension_n incident_a to_o our_o nature_n for_o the_o preservation_n of_o the_o compositum_fw-la but_o when_o a_o man_n shall_v act_v it_o beyond_o its_o due_a proportion_n eat_v or_o drink_v to_o excess_n or_o when_o a_o man_n shall_v use_v it_o to_o a_o wrong_a end_n to_o eat_v or_o drink_v because_o he_o will_v eat_v and_o drink_v place_v the_o end_n of_o his_o appetite_n in_o the_o use_n of_o it_o now_o he_o transgress_v the_o first_o rule_n he_o make_v his_o belly_n his_o god_n and_o circumstance_n a_o great_a good_n shall_v be_v thereby_o lose_v or_o a_o great_a evil_n thereby_o incur_v than_o this_o appetite_n become_v a_o lust_n because_o it_o be_v out_o of_o its_o place_n of_o ourselves_o but_o sorrow_n for_o sin_n as_o for_o a_o ununthankful_a return_n of_o so_o much_o love_n from_o god_n can_v because_o the_o love_n of_o god_n be_v under_o that_o sorrow_n and_o the_o
