kind_n of_o thing_n be_v always_o most_o durable_a and_o last_a the_o great_a important_a end_n that_o god_n design_n it_o for_o which_o be_v no_o less_o than_o the_o government_n of_o the_o noble_a part_n of_o the_o world_n mankind_n sufficient_o show_v the_o necessity_n of_o its_o be_v root_v deep_a in_o the_o heart_n and_o put_v beyond_o the_o danger_n of_o be_v tear_v up_o by_o any_o still_o arise_v from_o these_o latter_a it_o follow_v that_o the_o gratification_n of_o these_o be_v more_o powerful_a to_o command_v the_o principle_n of_o action_n than_o the_o other_o and_o consequent_o be_v for_o the_o most_o part_n too_o hard_o for_o and_o victorious_a over_o the_o dictate_v of_o right_a reason_n now_o from_o these_o four_o consideration_n thus_o premise_v we_o natural_o infer_v these_o two_o thing_n first_o that_o no_o man_n be_v quick_o or_o easy_o bring_v to_o take_v a_o full_a pleasure_n and_o delight_n in_o his_o own_o sin_n for_o though_o sin_n offer_v itself_o in_o never_o so_o please_a and_o allure_a a_o dress_n at_o first_o yet_o the_o remorse_n and_o inward_a regret_v of_o the_o soul_n upon_o the_o commission_n of_o it_o infinite_o overbalance_n those_o faint_a and_o transient_a gratification_n it_o afford_v the_o sense_n so_o that_o upon_o the_o whole_a matter_n the_o sinner_n even_o at_o his_o high_a pitch_n of_o enjoyment_n be_v not_o please_v with_o it_o so_o much_o but_o he_o be_v afflict_v more_o and_o as_o long_o as_o these_o inward_a rejolt_n and_o recoiling_n of_o the_o mind_n continue_v which_o they_o will_v certain_o do_v for_o a_o considerable_a part_n of_o a_o man_n life_n the_o sinner_n will_v find_v his_o account_n of_o pleasure_n very_o poor_a and_o short_a be_v so_o mix_v and_o indeed_o overdo_v with_o the_o contrary_a impression_n of_o trouble_n upon_o his_o mind_n that_o it_o be_v but_o a_o bitter-sweet_a at_o best_a and_o the_o fine_a colour_n of_o the_o serpent_n do_v by_o no_o mean_n make_v amends_o for_o the_o smart_n and_o poison_n of_o his_o sting_n second_o the_o other_o thing_n to_o be_v infer_v be_v that_o as_o no_o man_n be_v quick_o or_o easy_o bring_v to_o take_v a_o full_a pleasure_n or_o delight_n in_o his_o own_o sin_n so_o much_o less_o easy_o can_v he_o be_v bring_v to_o take_v pleasure_n in_o those_o of_o other_o men._n the_o reason_n be_v because_o the_o chief_a motive_n as_o we_o have_v observe_v that_o induce_v a_o man_n to_o sin_n which_o be_v the_o gratification_n of_o his_o sensitive_a part_n by_o a_o sinful_a act_n can_v be_v have_v from_o the_o sin_n of_o another_o man_n since_o natural_o and_o direct_o they_o affect_v only_o the_o agent_n that_o commit_v they_o for_o certain_o another_o man_n intemperance_n can_v affect_v my_o sensuality_n any_o more_o than_o the_o meat_n and_o drink_n that_o i_o take_v into_o my_o mouth_n can_v please_v his_o palate_n but_o of_o this_o more_o full_o in_o some_o of_o the_o follow_a particular_n in_o the_o the_o sin_n set_v before_o he_o must_v infallible_o plunge_v he_o into_o nevertheless_o the_o person_n here_o mention_v be_v resolve_v to_o venture_v and_o to_o commit_v the_o sin_n even_o while_o conscience_n stand_v protest_v against_o it_o they_o be_v such_o as_o break_v through_o all_o mound_n of_o law_n such_o as_o laugh_v at_o the_o sword_n of_o vengeance_n which_o divine_a justice_n brandish_v in_o their_o face_n for_o we_o must_v know_v that_o god_n have_v set_v a_o flame_a sword_n not_o only_o before_o paradise_n but_o before_o hell_n itself_o also_o to_o keep_v man_n out_o of_o conscience_n proportionable_o wear_v off_o something_o of_o its_o native_a tenderness_n which_o tenderness_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o that_o anguish_n and_o remorse_n that_o it_o feel_v upon_o
