the_o night_n in_o her_o swift_a course_n than_o the_o almighty_a word_n leave_v the_o royal_a throne_n and_o leap_v down_o from_o heaven_n say_v the_o author_n in_o the_o book_n of_o wisdom_n and_o sure_o then_o especial_o when_o all_o thing_n be_v quiet_a and_o silent_a when_o the_o work_n and_o toil_n care_n and_o labour_n of_o the_o day_n be_v lay_v aside_o and_o the_o soul_n in_o sweet_a contemplation_n of_o the_o vanity_n of_o all_o her_o travel_n under_o the_o sun_n than_o i_o say_v especial_o be_v divine_a wisdom_n prepare_v the_o place_n for_o the_o son_n of_o god_n who_o though_o he_o leave_v not_o heaven_n and_o his_o throne_n there_o yet_o by_o his_o spirit_n do_v he_o vouchsafe_v to_o descend_v and_o live_v and_o dwell_v in_o this_o earth_n of_o we_o for_o ever_o and_o as_o in_o the_o deep_a of_o night_n so_o for_o the_o most_o part_n be_v he_o bear_v still_o in_o the_o depth_n of_o winter_n for_o in_o the_o summer_n and_o sunshine_n of_o prosperity_n we_o be_v all_o apt_a to_o forget_v god_n and_o regard_n but_o little_a what_o he_o speak_v unto_o we_o but_o in_o the_o cold_a and_o bitter_a storm_n of_o winter_n when_o our_o bark_n be_v toss_v in_o a_o tempestuous_a sea_n of_o affliction_n then_o like_o other_o mariner_n we_o can_v quick_o pour_v out_o vow_n leave_v our_o cann_n and_o carouse_n and_o betake_v ourselves_o to_o supplication_n and_o prayer_n and_o can_v attentive_o hearken_v also_o what_o the_o lord_n god_n will_v say_v concern_v our_o soul_n only_o take_v heed_n of_o the_o 3d._a circumstance_n in_o this_o point_n and_o though_o he_o come_v in_o the_o last_o age_n of_o the_o world_n yet_o be_v sure_a not_o to_o defer_v thy_o entertain_n of_o he_o till_o the_o last_o age_n of_o thy_o life_n for_o however_o he_o be_v sometime_o and_o it_o may_v be_v usual_o as_o yet_o bear_v spiritual_o in_o that_o point_n of_o man_n day_n as_o he_o be_v then_o of_o the_o world_n yet_o it_o can_v be_v safe_a yet_o it_o must_v be_v more_o than_o foolish_a to_o presume_v of_o it_o for_o we_o well_o know_v how_o frail_a we_o be_v and_o god_n know_v how_o sudden_o we_o shall_v be_v sweep_v away_o in_o our_o sin_n when_o we_o will_v give_v the_o whole_a world_n if_o we_o have_v it_o for_o but_o one_o hour_n of_o that_o time_n we_o so_o foolish_o neglect_v and_o may_v not_o have_v remember_v therefore_o thy_o creator_n in_o the_o day_n of_o thy_o youth_n before_o the_o eveil_fw-fr day_n come_v and_o give_v attentive_a consideration_n to_o the_o counsel_n of_o the_o wiseman_n defer_v not_o to_o do_v well_o and_o put_v not_o off_o from_o day_n to_o day_n for_o sudden_o shall_v the_o wrath_n of_o the_o lord_n come_v forth_o and_o in_o security_n thou_o shall_v be_v destroy_v but_o last_o and_o above_o all_o be_v most_o assure_v that_o as_o then_o so_o he_o will_v still_o be_v bear_v in_o no_o other_o time_n but_o a_o time_n of_o peace_n peace_n there_o be_v in_o the_o whole_a world_n when_o he_o be_v bear_v in_o it_o and_o we_o must_v cease_v from_o war_n and_o envy_n and_o hatred_n and_o have_v peace_n every_o one_o with_o his_o brother_n or_o he_o will_v never_o be_v bear_v in_o we_o it_o be_v the_o song_n and_o anthem_n at_o his_o birth_n sing_v by_o angel_n glory_n be_v to_o god_n on_o high_a in_o earth_n peace_n good_a will_n towards_o man_n he_o be_v the_o great_a peacemaker_n that_o come_v of_o purpose_n to_o establish_v a_o everlasting_a peace_n between_o god_n and_o man_n but_o on_o this_o condition_n that_o man_n shall_v first_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o man_n otherwise_o not_o to_o expect_v it_o from_o god_n of_o who_o he_o may_v not_o so_o much_o as_o beg_v mercy_n for_o his_o offence_n but_o as_o himself_o remit_v the_o trespass_n of_o other_o o_o take_v heed_n therefore_o flatter_v not_o thyself_o but_o search_v narrow_o and_o be_v sure_a to_o strip_v all_o wrath_n and_o revenge_n from_o thy_o heart_n or_o be_v most_o assure_a christ_n will_v never_o dwell_v and_o inhabit_v there_o who_o can_v but_o hate_v the_o very_a place_n where_o such_o odious_a and_o hateful_a sin_n make_v their_o abode_n sin_n that_o bind_v all_o the_o rest_n of_o our_o iniquity_n on_o our_o soul_n yea_o make_v whatsoever_o else_o be_v good_a sinful_a unto_o we_o whereof_o so_o long_o as_o thou_o be_v guilty_a thou_o do_v but_o curse_v thyself_o when_o thou_o pray_v and_o damn_v thy_o own_o soul_n who_o he_o be_v bear_v for_o bear_v he_o be_v not_o of_o any_o ordinary_a woman_n at_o a_o venture_n but_o of_o a_o pure_a and_o chaste_a virgin_n and_o so_o will_v he_o still_o be_v both_o bear_v and_o breed_v in_o a_o clean_a and_o unpolluted_a soul_n into_o a_o defile_a heart_n full_a of_o noisome_a lust_n and_o sordid_a affection_n he_o will_v not_o enter_v they_o must_v be_v first_o purge_v out_o and_o all_o the_o stain_n and_o pollution_n of_o they_o wash_v away_o and_o cleanse_v in_o a_o bath_n of_o penitential_a tear_n then_o he_o will_v descend_v thither_o be_v bear_v there_o and_o instead_o of_o those_o natural_a corruption_n fill_v the_o place_n with_o all_o divine_a and_o supernatural_a grace_n and_o so_o not_o find_v but_o make_v the_o soul_n a_o virgin_n by_o be_v beget_v in_o it_o a_o virgin_n full_a of_o virtue_n which_o he_o will_v espouse_v and_o marry_v unto_o himself_o for_o ever_o but_o yet_o of_o all_o virtue_n he_o most_o affect_v humility_n in_o she_o the_o first_o and_o last_o of_o virtue_n the_o first_o begin_n and_o last_v consummation_n of_o whatsoever_o be_v virtuous_a for_o without_o it_o the_o soul_n be_v not_o capable_a of_o virtue_n and_o have_v she_o never_o so_o many_o will_v spoil_v all_o by_o grow_v proud_a of_o the_o virtue_n which_o she_o have_v and_o therefore_o as_o he_o be_v bear_v of_o a_o virgin_n so_o will_v he_o be_v bear_v in_o no_o other_o but_o a_o stable_a the_o mean_a place_n and_o low_a in_o the_o house_n to_o show_v we_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o mind_n the_o humility_n and_o lowliness_n of_o the_o spirit_n where_o he_o still_o be_v and_o ever_o will_v be_v spiritual_o bring_v forth_o for_o as_o the_o covetous_a soul_n be_v but_o a_o barn_n the_o epicure_n a_o kitchen_n the_o drunkard_n be_v a_o cellar_n the_o ambitious_a a_o chamber_n of_o state_n so_o the_o low_a and_o regardless_o stable_a may_v well_o signify_v the_o humble_a spirit_n that_o both_o be_v and_o esteem_v itself_o a_o wretched_a sinner_n not_o then_o in_o the_o barn_n of_o miser_n nor_o in_o the_o kitchen_n of_o belly-god_n not_o in_o the_o cellar_n of_o winebibber_n not_o in_o the_o great_a chamber_n of_o pride_n and_o prodigal_n but_o in_o the_o despise_a stable_a of_o humble_a and_o deject_a spirit_n there_o be_v he_o there_o will_v he_o and_o no_o where_o else_o ever_o be_v bear_v and_o every_o soul_n wherein_o he_o be_v so_o bear_v may_v be_v bold_a to_o say_v with_o the_o bless_a virgin_n that_o first_o see_v he_o for_o thou_o regard_v the_o lowliness_n of_o thy_o hand-maiden_n but_o yet_o be_v in_o private_a and_o proper_a to_o itself_o but_o open_a and_o ready_a to_o communicate_v all_o thing_n to_o those_o that_o want_n and_o be_v distress_v and_o no_o less_o free_o than_o the_o other_o for_o money_n and_o the_o soon_o because_o he_o know_v the_o world_n itself_o be_v but_o a_o inn_n where_o we_o do_v not_o inhabit_v but_o lodge_v for_o a_o
glory_n unto_o he_o that_o sit_v upon_o the_o throne_n and_o to_o the_o lamb_n for_o evermore_o who_o now_o shall_v mourn_v who_o shall_v weep_v for_o such_o a_o soul_n none_o can_v sorrow_n for_o
