moisten_v the_o thirsty_a soul_n with_o the_o dew_n of_o heavenly_a sweetness_n it_o reward_v the_o labour_n of_o these_o three_o before_o so_o then_o read_v be_v a_o outward_a exercise_n meditation_n a_o inward_a perceive_v prayer_n a_o desire_n and_o meditation_n above_o all_o sense_n the_o first_o degree_n be_v of_o beginning_n the_o second_o of_o profit_v the_o three_o of_o devoutnes_n the_o four_o of_o blessedness_n but_o these_o degree_n be_v so_o link_v together_o and_o be_v so_o serviceable_a in_o supply_v help_n one_o to_o another_o that_o those_o go_v before_o without_o those_o that_o follow_v profit_v little_a or_o nothing_o and_o those_o that_o follow_v without_o those_o that_o go_v before_o seldom_o or_o never_o profit_v for_o what_o profit_v it_o to_o use_v the_o time_n whois_n he_o and_o we_o will_v praise_v he_o to_o will_n be_v present_a with_o many_o but_o with_o a_o few_o to_o perform_v and_o will_v to_o god_n we_o be_v of_o that_o few_o four_o cause_n which_o draw_v we_o from_o these_o four_o degree_n but_o there_o be_v four_o cause_n which_o draw_v we_o often_o time_n from_o these_o four_o degree_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n unavoidable_a necessity_n commodity_n of_o honest_a business_n humane_a infirmity_n and_o worldly_a vanity_n the_o first_o excusable_a the_o second_o tolerable_a the_o three_o miserable_a the_o four_o culpable_a for_o those_o who_o such_o cause_n withdraw_v from_o a_o holy_a purpose_n have_v be_v yet_o better_o not_o to_o know_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n then_o know_v afterward_o to_o go_v back_o what_o excuse_n shall_v and_o condition_n of_o man_n that_o no_o good_a thing_n beside_o the_o chief_a good_a may_v suffice_v he_o it_o be_v very_o miraculous_a that_o such_o diverse_a &_o contrary_a thing_n one_o from_o the_o other_o may_v conjoin_v together_o in_o one_o neither_o less_o marvellous_a be_v it_o that_o the_o everlasting_a and_o live_a god_n have_v join_v himself_o to_o our_o mould_n and_o clay_n that_o
