come_v to_o the_o supper_n and_o as_o concern_v the_o other_o he_o say_v on_o this_o wise_a they_o shall_v not_o taste_v of_o my_o supper_n this_o gospel_n make_v very_o grevous_o against_o the_o jew_n and_o gentile_n now_o will_v we_o prosecute_v the_o parable_n in_o order_n supper_n the_o man_n that_o make_v this_o supper_n be_v god_n which_o be_v a_o sumptuous_a and_o a_o scotfree_a feast_n maker_n and_o have_v after_o his_o riches_n and_o majesty_n prepare_v a_o supper_n which_o be_v call_v great_a not_o so_o much_o for_o the_o respect_n of_o the_o maker_n thereof_o which_o be_v god_n albeit_o it_o may_v be_v worthy_o call_v a_o great_a supper_n for_o that_o cause_n only_o but_o because_o the_o meat_n itself_o also_o be_v magnificent_a and_o great_a that_o be_v the_o gospel_n call_v his_o geaste_n that_o he_o may_v sanctify_v they_o by_o his_o baptism_n and_o comfort_n and_o confirm_v they_o by_o the_o sacrament_n of_o his_o body_n and_o blood_n so_o that_o nothing_o at_o all_o be_v lack_v that_o be_v requisite_a and_o necessary_a to_o the_o greatness_n magnificence_n and_o plentifulnes_n thereof_o and_o for_o the_o gorgeous_a and_o gentle_a entertainment_n of_o the_o geaste_n so_o that_o for_o this_o cause_n it_o may_v well_o be_v call_v great_a even_o for_o the_o sumptuousnesse_n and_o the_o delicate_n which_o be_v so_o dress_v and_o provide_v that_o no_o man_n can_v sufficient_o express_v it_o with_o tongue_n nor_o think_v it_o with_o heart_n for_o the_o meat_n and_o drink_v thereof_o be_v eternal_a after_o the_o which_o there_o follow_v neither_o hunger_n nor_o thirst_n but_o it_o so_o satisfi_v they_o and_o quench_v their_o thirst_n that_o a_o continual_a joy_n ensue_v and_o this_o supper_n be_v not_o only_a enough_o for_o one_o man_n supper_n but_o it_o be_v sufficient_a for_o all_o the_o world_n if_o it_o be_v much_o big_a and_o large_a for_o the_o gospel_n say_v this_o he_o that_o beleve_v in_o christ_n that_o for_o our_o sake_n he_o be_v make_v man_n and_o bear_v of_o the_o virgin_n marie_n crucify_v for_o our_o sin_n and_o ascend_v into_o heaven_n and_o sit_v on_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o god_n the_o father_n etc._n etc._n he_o that_o beleve_v so_o do_v live_v for_o ever_o where_o as_o it_o be_v far_o other_o wise_a with_o man_n meat_n for_o when_o houng_a be_v this_o day_n put_v away_o yet_o to_o morrow_n it_o will_v of_o everlasting_a glory_n also_o after_o this_o spiritual_a refection_n i_o mean_v the_o preach_n of_o god_n word_n follow_v the_o second_o refection_n or_o almose_n when_o christ_n also_o take_v care_n for_o the_o body_n for_o christ_n come_v not_o into_o this_o world_n to_o destroy_v either_o soul_n or_o body_n nineteeen_o but_o to_o save_v both_o therefore_o the_o carthusian_n or_o monk_n of_o the_o charterhouse_n go_v not_o the_o right_a way_n to_o work_v when_o he_o think_v his_o great_a abstinence_n and_o long_a prayer_n hinder_v the_o health_n of_o his_o body_n the_o body_n be_v and_o for_o this_o cause_n have_v god_n appoint_v not_o only_o the_o day_n unto_o labour_n but_o also_o the_o night_n unto_o sleep_v and_o rest_n and_o the_o middaie_n serve_v we_o to_o eat_v for_o god_n be_v no_o murderer_n as_o the_o devil_n be_v which_o devil_n labour_v to_o this_o end_n that_o the_o monk_n may_v utter_o kill_v himself_o with_o the_o immoderate_a exercise_n of_o fast_v watch_v pray_v etc._n etc._n but_o god_n will_v none_o of_o this_o he_o will_v have_v measure_n to_o be_v keep_v in_o all_o thing_n measure_n be_v a_o merry_a means_n as_o they_o use_v to_o say_v this_o be_v the_o second_o comfort_n christian_n that_o we_o shall_v go_v the_o right_a way_n to_o work_v and_o above_o all_o thing_n seek_v after_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o when_o we_o fall_v even_o into_o the_o desert_n and_o wilderness_n and_o therefore_o be_v in_o danger_n of_o famine_n yet_o let_v we_o not_o despair_n nor_o be_v dismay_v for_o even_o here_o be_v the_o lord_n with_o we_o which_o be_v move_v with_o our_o necessity_n and_o also_o be_v careful_a for_o we_o yea_o and_o that_o much_o better_a than_o we_o be_v able_a to_o care_v for_o ourselves_o for_o we_o with_o our_o care_n 127._o can_v bring_v nothing_o unto_o good_a effect_n but_o where_o christ_n care_v there_o must_v needs_o be_v great_a plenty_n of_o all_o thing_n though_o there_o be_v nothing_o else_o in_o the_o world_n then_o high_a penury_n and_o most_o miserable_a lack_n as_o we_o see_v here_o the_o apostle_n also_o take_v care_n but_o what_o be_v their_o care_n for_o sothe_o this_o whence_o dismay_v or_o despair_n for_o if_o we_o earnest_o and_o diligent_o seek_v the_o word_n of_o god_n there_o shall_v be_v no_o peril_n of_o scarsenes_n christ_n will_v be_v careful_a for_o we_o neither_o shall_v we_o want_v any_o good_a thing_n at_o all_o for_o this_o be_v nothing_o to_o the_o purpose_n whither_o we_o have_v much_o or_o little_a this_o be_v altogether_o that_o christ_n may_v bless_v but_o be_v only_o a_o fellow_n servant_n and_o will_v require_v his_o right_n rigorous_o of_o he_o he_o shall_v do_v nothing_o else_o by_o this_o mean_n than_o cause_n that_o this_o rigorousnes_n and_o cruel_a bytterne_n can_v not_o long_o lie_v hide_v other_o christian_n will_v take_v this_o grevous_o and_o will_v bring_v this_o cruelty_n of_o this_o servant_n to_o the_o lord_n ear_n that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o unjust_a pride_n and_o unmercifulnes_n will_v geve_v and_o move_v the_o holy_a spirit_n in_o christian_n that_o they_o in_o their_o sorrow_n will_v make_v their_o pitiful_a complaint_n unto_o the_o lord_n and_o let_v no_o man_n think_v that_o this_o complaint_n shall_v fall_v void_a for_o although_o that_o god_n will_v of_o himself_o neglect_v this_o wrong_n yet_o shall_v he_o be_v constrain_v by_o christian_a man_n prayer_n not_o to_o neglect_v it_o therefore_o as_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o righteous_a be_v not_o void_a so_o shall_v not_o the_o common_a curse_n of_o the_o people_n and_o the_o cry_v out_o for_o revenginge_v fall_v void_a and_o frustrate_a and_o therefore_o christ_n will_v not_o have_v we_o neglect_v they_o but_o for_o fear_n of_o this_o peril_n to_o show_v ourselves_o gentle_a to_o our_o fellow_n servant_n then_o shall_v thou_o perceive_v in_o deed_n that_o there_o be_v some_o that_o for_o this_o thy_o gentleness_n will_v wish_v all_o prosperity_n and_o success_n to_o thou_o again_o wherefore_o these_o man_n can_v never_o thrive_v that_o regard_n not_o the_o cursing_n and_o blessyng_n of_o of_o the_o people_n as_o it_o be_v to_o see_v in_o time_n of_o dearth_n the_o miserable_a multitude_n curse_v the_o covetous_a regards_n as_o solomon_n say_v in_o his_o proverbe_n the_o people_n curse_v he_o that_o hyde_v his_o grain_n 11._o but_o bless_v be_v upon_o they_o that_o sell._n but_o the_o ungodly_a covetous_a regard_v this_o not_o but_o consider_v thou_o whether_o this_o curse_n be_v not_o effectuous_a whereas_o they_o with_o all_o their_o good_n be_v compass_v about_o with_o all_o trouble_n and_o misery_n wherefore_o this_o be_v not_o to_o be_v esteem_v light_o whereas_o christ_n in_o this_o place_n show_v how_o we_o shall_v beware_v that_o we_o geve_v no_o occasion_n to_o make_v our_o fellow_n servant_n to_o complain_v unto_o the_o lord_n and_o show_v what_o they_o have_v seen_v in_o judgemente_n for_o it_o be_v a_o horrible_a thing_n that_o follow_v the_o lord_n say_v he_o call_v the_o servant_n unto_o he_o and_o this_o be_v the_o fyfte_a cause_n that_o thou_o may_v think_v well_o upon_o this_o end_n for_o if_o thou_o will_v show_v no_o mercy_n unto_o thy_o fellow_n servant_n but_o require_v thy_o right_n rigorous_o think_v not_o that_o god_n will_v wink_v at_o it_o &_o lay_v nothing_o to_o sake_n what_o shall_v i_o estime_fw-fr myself_o so_o high_o and_o disdain_v to_o forgeve_v my_o brother_n such_o trifle_a debt_n if_o i_o may_v come_v to_o that_o point_n that_o he_o will_v forgeve_v i_o i_o will_v be_v right_o glad_a to_o suffer_v my_o neighbour_n debt_n to_o be_v strike_v out_o of_o my_o count_a book_n yea_o and_o will_v thank_v god_n also_o for_o that_o he_o of_o his_o mercy_n have_v pardon_v i_o whereas_o he_o may_v have_v require_v of_o i_o unnumerable_a debt_n and_o cast_v i_o to_o be_v bind_v in_o everlasting_a chain_n and_o this_o be_v the_o doctrine_n which_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n put_v forth_o to_o his_o people_n this_o day_n even_o that_o we_o shall_v refrain_v ourselves_o from_o wrath_n and_o revenge_a &_o forgeve_v our_o neygbour_n glad_o that_o so_o we_o may_v be_v sure_a that_o god_n forgeve_v us._n but_o daily_a experience_n teach_v how_o disobedient_a we_o be_v in_o this_o behalf_n and_o how_o obedient_a we_o be_v in_o follow_v the_o devil_n whansoever_o he_o move_v we_o to_o wrath_n to_o revenge_v and_o to_o all_o that_o he_o require_v of_o we_o although_o it_o be_v to_o our_o great_a damaige_a for_o christ_n saying_n be_v true_a if_o thou_o forgeve_v thou_o mayeste_v be_v sure_a god_n will_v forgeve_v thou_o so_o that_o if_o thou_o be_v merciful_a thou_o shall_v still_o obtain_v god_n mercy_n if_o not_o look_v for_o asuretie_n that_o god_n will_v be_v merciful_a unto_o thou_o if_o thou_o have_v a_o pleasure_n to_o revenge_v then_o must_v god_n do_v likewise_o unto_o thou_o and_o yet_o thou_o can_v revenge_v and_o hurt_v for_o a_o time_n but_o god_n revenge_v and_o wrath_n which_o thou_o procure_v by_o thy_o folishe_a and_o impotent_a wrath_n have_v no_o end_n and_o this_o revenge_a of_o thou_o have_v no_o just_a cause_n for_o all_o power_n of_o revenge_a belong_v to_o god_n and_o not_o to_o thou_o and_o thou_o may_v be_v sure_a that_o if_o thou_o resign_v thy_o right_n of_o revenginge_v to_o god_n and_o prevent_a he_o not_o through_o thy_o hasty_a wrath_n than_o he_o will_v revenge_v and_o punish_v it_o much_o more_o grevouslye_o than_o thou_o will_v desire_v but_o how_o it_o go_v with_o they_o that_o be_v so_o desirous_a to_o revenge_v may_v well_o be_v perceave_v if_o man_n will_v consider_v but_o this_o how_o sin_n be_v punish_v by_o he_o for_o they_o that_o be_v give_fw-ge to_o wrath_n &_o desire_n of_o vengeance_n be_v so_o fare_v out_o of_o charity_n through_o ire_n that_o at_o last_o they_o cease_v from_o say_v of_o the_o lord_n prayer_n for_o here_o be_v the_o sharp_a nail_n always_o in_o their_o sore_n 6._o which_o continual_o prick_v then_o whereas_o they_o be_v command_v therein_o to_o pray_v unto_o god_n for_o the_o forgevinge_v of_o their_o trespace_n as_o they_o forgeve_v other_o that_o trespass_n against_o they_o here_o they_o know_v that_o if_o they_o can_v obtain_v forgevenes_n of_o their_o own_o trespace_n except_o they_o forgeve_v other_o that_o then_o they_o shall_v never_o obtain_v it_o wherefore_o lest_o they_o shall_v by_o this_o mean_n geve_v judgement_n to_o their_o own_o damnation_n they_o never_o say_v that_o prayer_n and_o what_o thing_n may_v we_o think_v that_o the_o devil_n can_v devise_v more_o grevous_o and_o cruel_o against_o a_o man_n prayer_n than_o to_o bring_v he_o in_o such_o case_n by_o wrath_n and_o anger_n that_o he_o dare_v not_o pray_v and_o what_o shall_v a_o christian_a man_n do_v if_o he_o can_v not_o pray_v if_o prayer_n which_o be_v the_o only_a refuge_n of_o christian_a man_n be_v take_v from_o they_o than_o must_v all_o go_v to_o nought_o yea_o and_o all_o such_o also_o begin_v to_o refuse_v the_o communion_n and_o so_o thereby_o deprve_v themselves_o of_o great_a comfort_n and_o solace_n which_o they_o thereat_o shall_v receive_v against_o sin_v and_o grief_n of_o conscience_n but_o be_v it_o not_o much_o better_a for_o they_o to_o suffer_v wrong_a &_o to_o lay_v aside_o all_o wrath_n rise_v it_o never_o of_o so_o just_a a_o cause_n then_o this_o by_o their_o stubburne_n to_o purchase_v god_n
