prejudice_v the_o reality_n of_o the_o estate_n of_o grace_n so_o our_o frequent_a suspicion_n do_v not_o cut_v we_o off_o from_o the_o title_n and_o right_a of_o promise_a comfort_n 2._o all_o prevalent_a dispute_n about_o our_o personal_a uprightness_n they_o do_v hold_v off_o the_o application_n and_o taste_n of_o comfort_n though_o they_o do_v not_o disanuall_a the_o title_n and_o right_a even_o the_o good_a man_n will_v walk_v uncomfortable_a so_o long_o as_o he_o conclude_v and_o strong_o fear_v that_o his_o estate_n be_v sinful_a for_o sensible_a comfort_n rise_v or_o fall_v come_v on_o or_o go_v off_o according_a to_o the_o strength_n of_o our_o judgement_n and_o present_a apprehension_n it_o be_v not_o what_o indeed_o our_o estate_n be_v but_o what_o we_o judge_v of_o it_o which_o breed_v in_o we_o sensible_a comfort_n or_o discomfort_n a_o false_a heart_n may_v even_o break_v with_o a_o timpany_n of_o foolish_a joy_n upon_o a_o err_a persuasion_n of_o his_o estate_n and_o so_o may_v a_o sound_a heart_n be_v very_o heavy_a and_o disconsolate_a upon_o a_o unsound_a misconstruction_n and_o judgeing_a of_o its_o true_a condition_n 3._o there_o be_v sometime_o which_o be_v very_o unapt_a for_o a_o upright_a person_n to_o sit_v upon_o his_o estate_n and_o to_o pass_v sentence_n the_o best_a soul_n have_v divers_a change_n and_o streit_n sometime_o it_o be_v clear_a and_o free_a and_o able_a to_o see_v thing_n as_o they_o be_v other_o time_n it_o may_v be_v boisterous_a and_o perplex_a and_o then_o it_o be_v apt_a to_o judge_n of_o itself_o by_o feeling_n and_o new_a representation_n not_o according_a to_o secret_a truth_n and_o substance_n remember_v one_o thing_n time_n of_o conflict_n and_o afliction_n and_o temptation_n be_v best_a for_o pray_v and_o worst_a for_o â—udging_v if_o a_o man_n will_v at_o such_o time_n pass_v sentence_n on_o himself_o or_o estate_n as_o a_o judge_n he_o will_v judge_v uprighteous_a judgement_n for_o then_o the_o soul_n be_v not_o itself_o and_o be_v apt_a to_o take_v satan_n work_n for_o its_o own_o prope_a account_n yea_o and_o then_o usual_o it_o will_v see_v nothing_o but_o what_o make_v against_o itself_o in_o passion_n and_o temptation_n we_o neither_o see_v god_n aright_o nor_o ourselves_o four_o we_o must_v never_o stand_v to_o that_o judgement_n which_o we_o pass_v upon_o our_o inward_a frame_n which_o be_v irrational_a or_o without_o sufficient_a ground_n look_v as_o we_o may_v appeal_v from_o all_o the_o sentence_n of_o our_o judgement_n which_o act_v its_o self_n in_o in_o holy_a duty_n can_v stand_v with_o uprightness_n where_o a_o man_n have_v either_o no_o ground_n at_o all_o or_o those_o that_o he_o have_v be_v false_a he_o shall_v never_o settle_v so_o on_o they_o and_o yield_v and_o entertain_v they_o as_o to_o question_v his_o estate_n for_o they_o or_o for_o they_o to_o shut_v off_o himself_o from_o comfort_n 5._o if_o ever_o we_o will_v decide_v our_o uprightness_n and_o so_o take_v our_o part_n in_o promise_a comfort_n we_o must_v follow_v the_o voice_n of_o the_o word_n and_o subscribe_v to_o the_o sentence_n of_o conscience_n follow_v conclude_v be_v not_o imaginary_a but_o real_a true_a it_o be_v we_o do_v labour_n to_o abstain_v from_o upright_a 1._o case_n our_o abstinence_n from_o sin_n be_v out_o of_o fear_n of_o judgement_n
