and_o assist_v that_o you_o may_v be_v able_a to_o keep_v it_o this_o unity_n must_v be_v keep_v in_o peace_n and_o if_o you_o will_v have_v it_o sure_a in_o the_o bond_n of_o peace_n that_o which_o remain_v be_v that_o you_o obey_v and_o follow_v the_o apostle_n exhortation_n that_o all_o of_o you_o in_o yourselves_o and_o with_o other_o endeavour_v to_o keep_v the_o unity_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o bond_n of_o peace_n both_o in_o church_n and_o commonwealth_n for_o good_a counsel_n such_o as_o here_o our_o apostle_n be_v do_v not_o make_v church_n or_o state_n happy_a when_o it_o be_v give_v but_o when_o it_o be_v follow_v and_o to_o the_o danger_n that_o may_v come_v it_o add_v guilt_n to_o all_o such_o as_o will_v not_o obey_v the_o counsel_n that_o they_o may_v prevent_v the_o danger_n and_o let_v i_o say_v thus_o much_o for_o the_o unity_n of_o the_o spirit_n it_o be_v that_o which_o tie_v we_o one_o to_o another_o and_o all_o to_o god_n and_o god_n to_o all_o without_o god_n we_o can_v be_v safe_a either_o in_o this_o life_n or_o that_o to_o come_v and_o without_o this_o unity_n no_o man_n be_v sure_a of_o his_o neighbour_n assistance_n nor_o any_o man_n of_o go_n but_o by_o this_o unity_n god_n himself_o be_v content_a to_o be_v bind_v to_o you_o and_o that_o which_o be_v bind_v be_v sure_a and_o ready_a at_o need_n et_fw-la sortis_fw-la cum_fw-la debili_fw-la ligatus_fw-la &_o illum_fw-la portat_fw-la &_o se_fw-la say_v saint_n chrysostome_n eph._n and_o strength_n bind_v to_o weakness_n bear_v up_o both_o itself_o and_o weakness_n and_o in_o this_o sense_n i_o can_v admit_v of_o scaliger_n subtlety_n 1._o that_o unity_n be_v omnipotent_a keep_v unity_n then_o and_o be_v sour_a it_o be_v honourable_a justice_n upon_o any_o that_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o break_v it_o he_o deserve_v not_o to_o live_v that_o will_v dissolve_v that_o bond_n by_o which_o god_n have_v bind_v himself_o to_o assist_v the_o church_n and_o the_o commonwealth_n our_o adversary_n make_v unity_n a_o note_n of_o the_o church_n and_o they_o persuade_v such_o as_o will_v believe_v they_o that_o we_o have_v no_o unity_n and_o so_o no_o church_n i_o will_v not_o have_v occasion_n give_v they_o to_o enlarge_v their_o doctrine_n lest_o in_o the_o next_o place_n they_o take_v upon_o they_o to_o prove_v that_o we_o have_v no_o commonwealth_n neither_o for_o want_v of_o unity_n now_o to_o keep_v unity_n i_o have_v make_v bold_a to_o direct_v you_o one_o
