this_o sin_n but_o god_n in_o mercy_n accept_v a_o general_a repentance_n for_o the_o same_o and_o the_o like_a be_v the_o case_n of_o all_o the_o elect_n in_o regard_n of_o their_o secret_a &_o hide_a fault_n for_o unless_o god_n shall_v accept_v of_o a_o general_a repentance_n for_o unknown_a sin_n few_o or_o none_o at_o all_o shall_v be_v save_v and_o herein_o do_v the_o endless_a mercy_n and_o feed_v as_o a_o beast_n now_o some_o be_v of_o opinion_n that_o his_o humane_a shape_n be_v take_v from_o he_o and_o that_o he_o be_v transform_v into_o a_o beast_n at_o least_o that_o he_o have_v the_o soul_n of_o a_o beast_n in_o stead_n of_o a_o humane_a soul_n for_o a_o time_n but_o they_o be_v deceive_v for_o there_o be_v no_o such_o transportation_n of_o soul_n into_o body_n either_o of_o man_n or_o beast_n other_o think_v that_o nabuchadnezzar_n be_v smite_v in_o the_o brain_n with_o this_o disease_n of_o beastlike_a melancholy_n whereby_o he_o be_v so_o bereave_v of_o his_o right_a mind_n that_o he_o carry_v himself_o as_o a_o beast_n and_o this_o interpretation_n be_v not_o against_o the_o text_n for_o in_o the_o 31._o verse_n of_o that_o chapter_n it_o be_v say_v work_v of_o melancholy_a be_v upon_o the_o heart_n for_o there_o be_v a_o concord_n and_o consent_n between_o the_o heart_n and_o the_o brain_n the_o thought_n and_o the_o affection_n the_o heart_n affect_v nothing_o but_o that_o which_o the_o mind_n conceive_v now_o when_o the_o mind_n have_v conceive_v imagine_a and_o frame_v within_o itself_o fearful_a thought_n then_o come_v affection_n and_o be_v answerable_a to_o imagination_n and_o hence_o proceed_v exceed_v horror_n fear_n and_o despair_n even_o of_o salvation_n itself_o and_o yet_o the_o conscience_n for_o all_o this_o untouched_a and_o not_o trouble_v or_o disquiet_v 3._o three_o it_o may_v be_v demand_v whether_o there_o be_v any_o difference_n between_o the_o trouble_n of_o conscience_n and_o melancholy_a for_o many_o hold_n that_o they_o be_v all_o one_o ans._n they_o be_v not_o all_o one_o but_o differ_v much_o affliction_n of_o conscience_n be_v one_o thing_n trouble_v by_o melancholy_n be_v a_o other_o melancholy_a the_o imagination_n be_v disturb_v and_o not_o the_o conscience_n second_o the_o conscience_n afflict_v have_v a_o true_a and_o certain_a cause_n whereby_o it_o be_v trouble_v namely_o the_o sight_n of_o sin_n and_o the_o sense_n of_o god_n wrath_n but_o in_o melancholy_a the_o imagination_n conceive_v a_o thing_n to_o be_v so_o which_o be_v not_o so_o for_o it_o make_v a_o man_n
