defile_v they_o wherein_o we_o carry_v the_o very_a picture_n of_o the_o father_n and_o bear_v his_o stamp_n in_o the_o crime_n 3._o as_o they_o be_v the_o work_n so_o they_o be_v the_o full_a delight_n of_o the_o inward_a man_n here_o the_o soul_n centre_n within_o itself_o and_o uncontrollable_o embrace_v its_o own_o act_n and_o the_o secretness_n of_o those_o stain_n render_v they_o difficult_a to_o be_v cleanse_v whereas_o these_o fleshly_a motion_n can_v breed_v any_o fullness_n of_o pleasure_n and_o their_o pollution_n be_v evident_a do_v often_o check_v the_o committer_n with_o those_o three_o restraint_n to_o a_o rational_a be_v which_o be_v law_n conscience_n and_o fame_n and_o therefore_o change_n be_v many_o time_n wrought_v in_o the_o great_a sinner_n but_o when_o sin_n once_o retire_v to_o invisible_a garrison_n it_o be_v seldom_o destroy_v because_o neither_o law_n nor_o fame_n have_v here_o place_n and_o conscience_n be_v too_o weak_a to_o overcome_v upon_o this_o account_n the_o labour_n of_o cleanse_v be_v here_o necessary_a and_o the_o soul_n must_v be_v bring_v to_o encounter_v itself_o in_o all_o the_o subtlety_n of_o a_o reform_v that_o we_o may_v present_v to_o our_o god_n in_o pure_a flesh_n a_o mortify_a spirit_n now_o shall_v uncleanness_n be_v inward_o cherish_v whatever_o the_o outward_a act_n of_o sanctity_n be_v they_o be_v to_o be_v reckon_v no_o better_a than_o pilat_n purify_n before_o the_o multitude_n when_o he_o wash_v his_o hand_n but_o suffer_v the_o guilt_n of_o the_o most_o innocent_a blood_n to_o pass_v uncleanse_v one_o please_v a_o little_a current_n but_o if_o the_o spark_n get_v fuel_n to_o feed_v on_o and_o enlarge_v itself_o into_o a_o great_a flame_n how_o often_o do_v it_o mock_v man_n labour_n and_o but_o for_o the_o better_a secure_n of_o it_o oh_o labour_v steadfast_o to_o apprehend_v thy_o god_n not_o only_o as_o the_o accurate_a beholder_n but_o as_o the_o severe_a judge_n and_o punisher_n of_o the_o inner_a man_n indeed_o god_n do_v not_o exercise_v such_o a_o visible_a judgement_n upon_o any_o spiritual_a filthiness_n in_o this_o world_n because_o he_o be_v main_o concern_v here_o as_o a_o governor_n to_o prevent_v the_o mischief_n of_o outward_a action_n
