ourselves_o even_o so_o according_a to_o the_o place_n where_o we_o live_v and_o the_o nourishment_n that_o we_o there_o take_v be_v the_o estate_n of_o our_o soul_n and_o conscience_n but_o be_v it_o that_o water_n be_v sometime_o hot_a and_o sometime_o cold_a and_o that_o it_o change_v his_o quality_n sometime_o one_o way_n sometime_o a_o other_o yet_o be_v it_o always_o water_n even_o so_o the_o man_n that_o be_v elect_v after_o his_o regeneration_n be_v always_o faithful_a how_o so_o ever_o in_o that_o he_o be_v the_o child_n of_o adam_n he_o be_v sometime_o incline_v to_o evil_a and_o that_o his_o faith_n be_v not_o always_o in_o one_o and_o the_o self_n same_o estate_n and_o that_o he_o be_v not_o always_o accompany_v with_o the_o like_a zeal_n and_o affection_n for_o oftentimes_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o we_o feel_v jesus_n christ_n to_o stir_v and_o move_v himself_o in_o we_o and_o by_o and_o by_o after_o we_o have_v no_o manner_n of_o feel_n at_o all_o but_o therefore_o he_o cease_v not_o to_o dwell_v in_o we_o no_o more_o than_o our_o soul_n do_v to_o dwell_v in_o our_o body_n when_o we_o sleep_v although_o in_o sleep_v we_o neither_o feel_v they_o nor_o any_o of_o their_o operation_n a_o woman_n who_o have_v conceive_v and_o bear_v in_o her_o womb_n a_o young_a child_n feel_v it_o not_o always_o stir_v notwithstanding_o when_o she_o have_v feel_v it_o once_o or_o twice_o she_o doubt_v not_o but_o she_o be_v with_o child_n even_o so_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o we_o have_v not_o a_o continual_a feel_n of_o jesus_n christ_n to_o assure_v we_o that_o he_o dwell_v in_o we_o and_o we_o in_o he_o but_o it_o suffice_v that_o we_o have_v he_o when_o occasion_n serve_v there_o be_v some_o also_o that_o feel_v and_o taste_v in_o some_o sort_n the_o righteousness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n but_o on_o the_o other_o side_n they_o have_v a_o far_o great_a feeling_n of_o their_o sin_n which_o oftentimes_o make_v they_o to_o fear_v that_o they_o be_v not_o in_o god_n his_o favour_n concern_v this_o point_n we_o must_v note_v that_o we_o more_o feel_v that_o which_o be_v evil_a then_o that_o which_o be_v good_a for_o as_o we_o see_v by_o experience_n we_o feel_v the_o calamity_n and_o misery_n of_o war_n more_o than_o the_o fruit_n and_o pleasure_n of_o peace_n &_o the_o grief_n of_o disease_n more_o than_o the_o quietness_n of_o health_n &_o the_o hardness_n of_o poverty_n more_o than_o the_o profit_n and_o commodity_n of_o abundance_n &_o riches_n by_o reason_n whereof_o we_o ought_v not_o much_o to_o marvel_v if_o we_o feel_v the_o sting_n and_o prick_v of_o sin_n a_o great_a deal_n more_o than_o the_o consolation_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n see_v that_o sin_n dwell_v in_o we_o &_o not_o righteousness_n which_o thing_n be_v in_o cause_n that_o the_o one_o be_v more_o sensible_a than_o the_o other_o notwithstanding_o for_o all_o this_o we_o must_v not_o think_v that_o sin_n be_v great_a and_o strong_a than_o righteousness_n or_o that_o it_o can_v in_o any_o respect_n be_v compare_v unto_o it_o or_o can_v be_v more_o able_a to_o condemn_v and_o destroy_v we_o than_o the_o righteousness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v similitude_n to_o justify_v and_o save_v we_o we_o have_v some_o time_n in_o the_o top_n of_o a_o finger_n some_o pain_n or_o grief_n which_o we_o feel_v a_o great_a deal_n more_o than_o the_o health_n that_o be_v all_o over_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o body_n yea_o though_o it_o be_v much_o great_a than_o the_o pain_n of_o our_o finger_n wherefore_o we_o must_v not_o esteem_n the_o greatness_n or_o the_o strength_n whether_o it_o be_v of_o righteousness_n or_o sin_n according_a to_o that_o feel_n we_o have_v because_o the_o one_o be_v always_o more_o sensible_a than_o the_o other_o and_o special_o for_o asmuch_o as_o we_o embrace_v righteousness_n only_o by_o faith_n which_o be_v of_o those_o thing_n that_o be_v not_o outward_a and_o sensible_a there_o be_v other_o also_o that_o feel_v nothing_o else_o but_o their_o sin_n only_o and_o therefore_o they_o live_v in_o continual_a fear_n and_o distrust_v where_o out_o they_o can_v not_o wind_v themselves_o have_v no_o taste_n at_o all_o of_o the_o grace_n and_o righteousness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n nor_o of_o any_o other_o mean_v whereby_o it_o be_v grant_v unto_o we_o which_o thing_n of_o a_o truth_n be_v very_o dangerous_a and_o they_o which_o feel_v themselves_o in_o such_o case_n ought_v earnest_o to_o pray_v unto_o god_n that_o it_o will_v please_v he_o to_o quicken_v they_o up_o and_o to_o warm_v they_o through_o his_o spirit_n and_o on_o their_o part_n it_o behove_v that_o they_o give_v then selue_o oftentimes_o to_o read_v and_o to_o meditate_v upon_o his_o promise_n and_o that_o they_o frequent_v the_o church_n and_o hear_v exhortation_n with_o the_o great_a attention_n they_o can_v for_o asmuch_o as_o faith_n be_v engender_v by_o hear_v and_o although_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o they_o do_v all_o these_o thing_n without_o any_o great_a affection_n god._n yet_o must_v they_o not_o therefore_o think_v that_o they_o be_v altogether_o unprofitable_a unto_o they_o no_o more_o they_o a_o man_n that_o take_v bread_n and_o meat_n when_o he_o take_v and_o eat_v it_o without_o any_o great_a appetite_n for_o although_o that_o he_o have_v not_o such_o a_o pleasure_n in_o eat_v as_o if_o he_o be_v well_o a_o houngred_a notwithstanding_o that_o which_o he_o receive_v cease_v not_o to_o profit_n and_o sustain_v he_o as_o we_o see_v in_o sickness_n even_o so_o do_v prayer_n and_o other_o christian_a exercise_n to_o which_o such_o cold_a person_n do_v give_v themselves_o and_o how_o so_o ever_o they_o make_v they_o without_o any_o great_a zeal_n yet_o for_o all_o that_o they_o cease_v not_o to_o profit_v they_o and_o in_o every_o thing_n that_o come_v to_o pass_v how_o soever_o it_o be_v that_o they_o
