thereof_o to_o be_v prefer_v before_o the_o present_a enjoyment_n of_o those_o delight_n which_o we_o be_v sure_a of_o and_o from_o hence_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o the_o competition_n of_o these_o present_a enjoyment_n will_v soon_o starve_v and_o famish_v these_o uncompleat_a conviction_n and_o all_o pursuit_n in_o the_o will_n of_o they_o these_o and_o the_o like_a defect_n happen_v in_o the_o understanding_n 2._o in_o the_o will_n which_o have_v lose_v her_o liberty_n to_o follow_v her_o light_n and_o be_v captivate_v by_o the_o sensual_a appetite_n the_o understanding_n be_v right_o enlighten_v present_v to_o the_o will_v several_a end_n the_o subordinate_a end_n preservation_n of_o the_o compositum_fw-la by_o meat_n and_o drink_n acquisition_n of_o wealth_n to_o provide_v these_o convenience_n obtain_v of_o power_n to_o secure_v that_o wealth_n the_o supreme_a end_n blessedness_n and_o that_o wherein_o it_o consist_v show_v the_o will_n that_o the_o value_n of_o these_o end_n must_v be_v the_o measure_n of_o her_o pursuit_n of_o they_o viz._n with_o subordination_n to_o the_o supreme_a end_n in_o order_n to_o it_o and_o bid_v she_o beware_v of_o turn_v the_o subordinate_a end_n to_o ultimate_a end_n but_o the_o sensual_a appetite_n either_o before_o the_o counsel_n of_o the_o understanding_n have_v precipitate_v the_o will_n into_o a_o violent_a pursuit_n of_o those_o present_a and_o sensible_a good_n or_o so_o bewitch_v she_o after_o in_o the_o enjoyment_n thereof_o that_o it_o can_v no_o more_o listen_v to_o the_o entertainment_n of_o the_o pursuit_n of_o a_o future_a spiritual_a good_a than_o if_o it_o have_v no_o reason_n the_o beast_n in_o man_n have_v get_v the_o man_n upon_o his_o back_n and_o run_v away_o with_o he_o contrary_a useful_a to_o the_o body_n and_o the_o outward_a man_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v desirable_a by_o the_o soul_n itself_o in_o order_n to_o that_o end_n yet_o they_o reach_v not_o so_o far_o as_o the_o soul_n their_o end_n fall_v short_a of_o it_o and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o the_o soul_n rest_v not_o in_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o they_o nay_o though_o it_o see_v not_o its_o proper_a end_n
