lust_n the_o devil_n or_o the_o world_n the_o man_n of_o the_o world_n have_v rare_o any_o considerable_a efficiciency_n in_o this_o temptation_n it_o be_v not_o often_o we_o hear_v they_o tell_v we_o that_o we_o have_v sin_v beyond_o hope_n of_o mercy_n they_o rather_o err_v on_o the_o other_o hand_n the_o two_o ordinary_a efficient_a cause_n in_o this_o temptation_n be_v our_o own_o lust_n and_o our_o grand_a adversary_n the_o devil_n 1._o our_o own_o lust_n our_o deprave_a heart_n be_v enough_o under_o some_o circumstance_n which_o we_o may_v be_v under_o to_o suggest_v to_o we_o very_o unworthy_a thought_n of_o god_n and_o high_o derogatory_n to_o his_o honour_n and_o glory_n for_o though_o in_o a_o quiet_a calm_a state_n our_o lust_n suggest_v ordinary_o other_o thing_n to_o we_o yet_o all_o the_o lust_n that_o be_v in_o our_o heart_n do_v not_o discover_v itself_o at_o the_o same_o hour_n we_o shall_v find_v lust_n stir_v in_o we_o in_o a_o hour_n of_o prosperity_n of_o which_o we_o shall_v hear_v nothing_o in_o a_o hour_n of_o great_a tribulation_n and_o adversity_n and_o so_o on_o the_o other_o side_n we_o shall_v find_v those_o lust_n stir_v in_o we_o in_o a_o can_v perish_v that_o be_v certain_a if_o therefore_o no_o reason_n can_v be_v bring_v sufficient_a to_o prove_v that_o god_n will_v never_o pardon_v i_o none_o can_v be_v bring_v sufficient_a for_o for_o argument_n impression_n or_o persuasion_n be_v either_o from_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o god_n or_o persuasion_n hatch_v up_o in_o our_o soul_n by_o their_o own_o power_n or_o they_o be_v from_o the_o evil_a spirit_n impression_n indeed_o from_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n can_v deceive_v they_o be_v infallible_a but_o so_o be_v not_o these_o can_n think_v you_o this_o persuasion_n be_v from_o he_o that_o every_o where_o in_o his_o word_n call_v upon_o man_n to_o sinner_n to_o all_o sort_n and_o degree_n of_o sinner_n to_o repent_v and_o believe_v to_o wash_v themselves_o and_o make_v themselves_o clean_a tell_v they_o that_o if_o their_o sin_n be_v as_o scarlet_a they_o shall_v be_v as_o snow_n if_o as_o crimson_n they_o shall_v be_v as_o white_a as_o wool_n that_o he_o sufficient_a to_o build_v such_o a_o conclusion_n upon_o and_o as_o i_o hint_v to_o you_o before_o all_o that_o the_o devil_n or_o a_o man_n be_v own_o heart_n can_v say_v in_o the_o case_n be_v
