our_o own_o want_n of_o providence_n to_o the_o malice_n of_o our_o enemy_n or_o some_o secondary_a cause_n therefore_o the_o lord_n will_v they_o to_o behold_v and_o to_o consider_v that_o he_o it_o be_v that_o set_v this_o hedge_n in_o their_o way_n and_o for_o this_o cause_n in_o that_o they_o have_v resolve_v to_o go_v forward_o in_o their_o sin_n that_o know_v the_o meritorious_a cause_n of_o their_o punishment_n to_o be_v their_o sin_n they_o may_v labour_v to_o take_v they_o away_o by_o true_a repentance_n and_o know_v the_o lord_n to_o be_v the_o author_n of_o they_o they_o may_v humble_v themselves_o under_o his_o hand_n and_o implore_v mercy_n and_o forgiveness_n three_o we_o may_v here_o learn_v that_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o god_n elect_v to_o perish_v for_o he_o will_v not_o suffer_v they_o to_o go_v on_o in_o sin_n to_o their_o perdition_n yea_o though_o they_o will_v desire_v and_o resolve_v to_o live_v in_o wickedness_n the_o lord_n will_v find_v mean_n to_o pull_v they_o out_o of_o it_o for_o his_o will_n be_v above_o their_o will_n his_o eternal_a purpose_n and_o decree_n which_o be_v unchangeable_a cause_v a_o change_n in_o their_o wicked_a design_n and_o unlawful_a purpose_n so_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o achieve_v they_o according_a to_o their_o settle_a resolution_n as_o we_o may_v see_v in_o the_o example_n of_o jonas_n david_n paul_n and_o many_o other_o so_o that_o god_n elect_v may_v certain_o be_v assure_v that_o see_v their_o sin_n be_v insufficient_a therefore_o nothing_o else_o be_v effectual_a to_o separate_v they_o from_o the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n jesus_n rom._n 8._o 38._o 39_o four_o here_o we_o learn_v most_o careful_o to_o take_v heed_n that_o affliction_n we_o must_v not_o leap_v over_o the_o hedge_n of_o affliction_n we_o do_v not_o when_o the_o lord_n set_v this_o hedge_n in_o our_o way_n to_o restrain_v we_o from_o sin_n leap_v over_o it_o for_o if_o the_o fence_n be_v not_o strong_a enough_o he_o will_v make_v it_o strong_a and_o in_o stead_n of_o a_o hedge_n he_o will_v set_v a_o wall_n to_o restrain_v we_o that_o be_v if_o light_a affliction_n will_v not_o withhold_v and_o stay_v we_o from_o go_v forward_o in_o the_o course_n of_o sin_n he_o will_v inflict_v those_o which_o be_v heavy_a and_o more_o intolerable_a last_o we_o may_v here_o observe_v the_o great_a benefit_n which_o our_o affliction_n cause_n unto_o we_o for_o they_o serve_v for_o sharp_a thorny_a sin_n affliction_n restrain_v we_o from_o sin_n hedge_n &_o strong_a wall_n to_o contain_v we_o stubbornness_n that_o we_o will_v like_v untamed_a and_o wild_a beast_n rush_v through_o this_o hedge_n of_o affliction_n that_o we_o may_v still_o continue_v our_o course_n in_o sin_n and_o such_o as_o be_v the_o cause_n thereof_o or_o to_o flee_v unto_o god_n
and_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o among_o buyer_n and_o seller_n there_o be_v scarce_o any_o bargain_n make_v without_o the_o help_n of_o many_o lie_n the_o which_o they_o find_v so_o beneficial_a for_o the_o increase_n of_o their_o wealth_n that_o they_o will_v not_o sell_v their_o gain_n which_o they_o get_v by_o lie_v for_o that_o which_o they_o get_v by_o their_o honest_a labour_n yea_o so_o high_o be_v this_o sin_n in_o favour_n with_o they_o that_o they_o read_v a_o lecture_n of_o lie_v to_o their_o servant_n which_o who_o so_o best_o learn_v he_o be_v esteem_v the_o fine_a chapman_n and_o fit_a to_o be_v employ_v in_o his_o master_n most_o weighty_a business_n on_o the_o contrary_a side_n he_o that_o be_v not_o expert_a in_o this_o lie_a skill_n either_o be_v natural_o incline_v to_o honest_a deal_n or_o else_o because_o he_o make_v conscience_n of_o his_o way_n such_o a_o one_o though_o never_o so_o faithful_a and_o painful_a in_o his_o call_n be_v in_o no_o favour_n with_o his_o master_n but_o esteem_v a_o heavy_a head_a and_o dull_a witted_a fellow_n altogether_o unfit_a for_o any_o employment_n yea_o so_o little_a account_n or_o conscience_n be_v
