shall_v rejoice_v in_o it_o so_o be_v also_o all_o private_a blessing_n so_o many_o cause_n of_o joy_n to_o all_o those_o that_o enjoy_v they_o whether_o they_o be_v upon_o their_o soul_n or_o body_n majesty_n but_o also_o great_a sickness_n and_o mortality_n in_o many_o chief_a place_n and_o the_o same_o dia_o spread_v itself_o further_o and_o further_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o great_a and_o dangerous_a contagion_n of_o the_o pestilence_n especial_o as_o at_o this_o time_n especial_o therefore_o it_o be_v high_a time_n for_o every_o one_o of_o we_o in_o all_o place_n to_o pray_v earnest_o unto_o god_n and_o as_o every_o day_n bring_v unto_o our_o ear_n the_o report_n of_o new_a trouble_n so_o must_v we_o continue_v in_o our_o prayer_n that_o god_n may_v hear_v we_o at_o the_o last_o as_o he_o have_v also_o promise_v that_o he_o will_n the_o three_o thing_n to_o be_v observe_v out_o of_o these_o word_n be_v the_o form_n and_o tenor_n of_o their_o prayer_n which_o be_v this_o we_o yea_o though_o they_o know_v not_o at_o all_o that_o we_o pray_v for_o they_o and_o if_o they_o shall_v neglect_v it_o yet_o no_o doubt_n some_o or_o other_o shall_v do_v it_o for_o this_o say_n other_o for_o they_o or_o both_o but_o we_o shall_v have_v little_a comfort_n in_o those_o benefit_n because_o by_o neglect_v to_o pray_v for_o they_o we_o have_v have_v no_o hand_n in_o they_o nay_o we_o shall_v be_v the_o more_o sorry_a that_o so_o great_a thing_n be_v befall_v they_o and_o we_o have_v not_o further_v they_o therein_o as_o we_o may_v and_o as_o we_o be_v desire_v 12.15_o rom._n 12.15_o for_o as_o if_o our_o friend_n have_v a_o suit_n to_o some_o noble_a man_n and_o we_o by_o some_o mean_n have_v further_v they_o therein_o and_o they_o have_v obtain_v it_o as_o it_o be_v for_o all_o the_o common_a benefit_n of_o our_o time_n as_o for_o example_n if_o we_o have_v and_o do_v pray_v for_o the_o life_n and_o honour_n of_o our_o most_o gracious_a king_n how_o glad_a may_v we_o be_v to_o hear_v of_o his_o miraculous_a deliverance_n from_o most_o notable_a treason_n as_o they_o profess_v verse_n 5_o and_o if_o we_o do_v pray_v for_o the_o stay_n of_o the_o pestilence_n every_o where_o how_o may_v we_o rejoice_v to_o hear_v that_o the_o lord_n diminish_v his_o heavy_a hand_n in_o any_o place_n so_o if_o we_o pray_v for_o seasonable_a weather_n with_o other_o we_o may_v have_v the_o more_o comfort_n in_o it_o when_o the_o lord_n shall_v send_v it_o and_o to_o conclude_v if_o we_o pray_v for_o the_o blessing_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n or_o principal_o and_o so_o have_v they_o not_o as_o they_o desire_v therefore_o if_o we_o lack_v any_o thing_n that_o we_o have_v desire_v and_o pray_v for_o consider_v whether_o we_o do_v seek_v god_n glory_n in_o it_o or_o our_o own_o benefit_n if_o we_o have_v respect_n to_o ourselves_o than_o no_o marvel_n if_o we_o do_v want_v it_o that_o we_o may_v learn_v to_o reform_v our_o desire_n as_o we_o see_v in_o the_o next_o psalm_n this_o people_n do_v according_a to_o that_o that_o they_o profess_v here_o and_o true_o then_o do_v we_o right_o profit_v by_o all_o god_n benefit_n when_o we_o give_v he_o that_o praise_n for_o they_o that_o be_v due_a unto_o he_o and_o when_o we_o so_o use_v they_o and_o speak_v of_o they_o as_o god_n the_o author_n of_o they_o may_v be_v honour_v profitable_a unto_o other_o when_o as_o the_o more_o benefit_n that_o we_o have_v the_o more_o we_o rejoice_v and_o the_o more_o we_o rejoice_v the_o more_o thankful_a be_v we_o to_o god_n for_o the_o same_o we_o do_v not_o therefore_o find_v fault_n with_o mirth_n we_o forbid_v not_o man_n to_o be_v merry_a be_v it_o far_o from_o we_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v so_o stoical_a &_o severe_a nay_o we_o exhort_v all_o man_n to_o it_o and_o show_v that_o they_o ought_v when_o god_n give_v they_o cause_n only_o that_o kind_n of_o mirth_n be_v condemn_v in_o the_o scripture_n which_o tend_v to_o the_o deadly_a thing_n and_o say_v 26.19_o prou._n 26.19_o they_o be_v but_o in_o sport_n as_o solomon_n speak_v of_o they_o or_o that_o kind_a of_o mirth_n wherein_o god_n have_v no_o praise_n at_o all_o which_o be_v the_o best_a kind_n of_o mirth_n that_o the_o wicked_a and_o man_n of_o this_o world_n have_v we_o allow_v of_o that_o wherein_o god_n be_v praise_v and_o of_o that_o only_a for_o though_o we_o be_v not_o bind_v in_o all_o our_o mirth_n to_o sing_v psalm_n neither_o indeed_o can_v we_o yet_o after_o all_o our_o mirth_n both_o for_o it_o and_o for_o all_o cause_n of_o it_o we_o shall_v give_v thanks_n unto_o god_n but_o many_o be_v so_o far_o from_o this_o that_o they_o rejoice_v in_o such_o thing_n for_o which_o they_o can_v praise_v god_n yea_o for_o such_o which_o it_o be_v shame_v once_o to_o name_n who_o we_o leave_v unto_o god_n that_o he_o may_v give_v they_o better_a mind_n &_o other_o though_o they_o have_v cause_n of_o honest_a and_o lawful_a joy_n yet_o that_o we_o may_v so_o rejoice_v in_o all_o god_n benefit_n and_o ordinance_n &_o so_o use_v they_o with_o joy_n that_o he_o may_v be_v praise_v for_o they_o which_o he_o also_o grant_v unto_o we_o this_o be_v not_o once_o but_o three_o time_n at_o the_o least_o set_v down_o in_o that_o book_n in_o the_o beginning_n midst_n and_o end_v of_o two_o notable_a and_o famous_a story_n which_o show_v what_o kind_n of_o life_n be_v then_o among_o they_o even_o such_o as_o be_v neither_o peaceable_a and_o quiet_a nor_o honest_a nor_o godly_a the_o one_o be_v of_o the_o levit_n concubine_n abuse_v and_o oppess_v even_o unto_o death_n &_o the_o other_o be_v of_o that_o idolatry_n which_o begin_v in_o the_o house_n of_o micah_n and_o so_o do_v spread_v itself_o over_o the_o whole_a tribe_n of_o dan_n and_o of_o the_o rest_n beside_o that_o the_o levite_n and_o minister_n of_o god_n be_v neglect_v then_o and_o not_o sufficient_o provide_v for_o in_o the_o narration_n of_o which_o this_o be_v often_o interlace_v as_o a_o grave_a sentence_n show_v the_o cause_n of_o all_o that_o disorder_n in_o those_o day_n there_o be_v no_o king_n or_o supreme_a governor_n in_o israel_n and_o so_o every_o man_n do_v that_o which_o be_v good_a in_o his_o own_o eye_n as_o if_o it_o have_v be_v say_v sure_o if_o they_o have_v have_v any_o good_a governor_n among_o they_o and_o namely_o one_o chief_a to_o change_n in_o the_o state_n of_o the_o people_n therefore_o all_o people_n have_v need_v to_o pray_v for_o the_o life_n health_n &_o preservation_n of_o their_o king_n that_o so_o themselves_o may_v rejoice_v as_o they_o do_v here_o and_o for_o proof_n of_o this_o we_o may_v easy_o conceive_v how_o the_o people_n of_o israel_n do_v flourish_v and_o abound_v in_o all_o thing_n in_o the_o day_n of_o king_n solomon_n by_o that_o which_o be_v write_v of_o they_o he_o be_v a_o peaceable_a prince_n and_o so_o the_o people_n have_v peace_n and_o wealth_n 10.27_o 1._o king_n 4.25_o &_o 10.27_o for_o every_o man_n do_v sit_v quiet_o under_o his_o vine_n and_o under_o his_o fig_n tree_n and_o none_o do_v raise_v they_o up_o and_o in_o his_o day_n silver_n be_v as_o plentiful_a as_o the_o stone_n in_o the_o street_n and_o cedar_n in_o as_o great_a abundance_n as_o the_o wild_a fig_n tree_n which_o grow_v abundant_o in_o the_o plain_a and_o such_o almost_o be_v our_o case_n all_o the_o day_n of_o our_o renown_a and_o worthy_a queen_n elizabeth_n for_o we_o have_v peace_n and_o wealth_n with_o the_o gospel_n also_o in_o great_a abundance_n but_o when_o solomon_n die_v state_n for_o in_o the_o death_n of_o the_o prince_n there_o be_v great_a fear_n of_o alteration_n to_o the_o state_n what_o great_a alteration_n be_v there_o in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o israel_n when_o his_o son_n rehoboham_n refuse_v the_o ancient_a counsellor_n of_o his_o father_n and_o choose_v new_a in_o their_o room_n like_v to_o himself_o whereupon_o there_o grow_v a_o faction_n and_o division_n first_o among_o the_o noble_n and_o then_o among_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o people_n so_o that_o ten_o part_n of_o his_o people_n fall_v clean_o away_o from_o he_o &_o from_o god_n too_o even_o to_o idolatry_n and_o to_o the_o golden_a calf_n in_o dan_n and_o bethel_n so_o that_o there_o be_v much_o war_n between_o they_o and_o bloodshed_n among_o they_o now_o when_o all_o this_o fall_v out_o how_o do_v they_o see_v by_o experience_n that_o they_o have_v cause_n before_o to_o pray_v for_o the_o life_n of_o solomon_n their_o king_n as_o the_o chief_a and_o only_a cause_n of_o their_o welfare_n and_o joy_n so_o we_o in_o like_a manner_n have_v great_a cause_n in_o this_o respect_n to_o pray_v for_o the_o life_n of_o our_o queen_n as_o we_o do_v to_o preserve_v she_o both_o against_o foreign_a invasion_n intend_v and_o also_o secret_a treason_n and_o practice_n at_o home_n for_o in_o her_o life_n we_o have_v great_a cause_n of_o joy_n and_o in_o all_o deliverance_n of_o she_o from_o danger_n which_o be_v many_o and_o great_a we_o have_v cause_n still_o to_o rejoice_v and_o so_o in_o her_o long_a life_n we_o do_v enjoy_v the_o fruit_n of_o our_o prayer_n for_o we_o do_v so_o much_o the_o more_o and_o long_o rejoice_v in_o she_o and_o in_o all_o benefit_n which_o we_o enjoy_v by_o she_o and_o we_o have_v just_a cause_n to_o fear_v that_o in_o her_o death_n we_o shall_v have_v have_v more_o cause_n of_o sorrow_n than_o by_o the_o grace_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n we_o have_v but_o now_o we_o will_v be_v loath_a to_o have_v any_o more_o change_n on_o the_o sudden_a and_o therefore_o we_o be_v to_o pray_v earnest_o unto_o god_n for_o this_o our_o sovereign_a king_n james_n by_o the_o grace_n of_o

prayer_n that_o it_o may_v certain_o and_o comfortable_o witness_v to_o our_o spirit_n that_o the_o lord_n do_v hear_v we_o and_o that_o the_o same_o testimony_n of_o the_o spirit_n may_v increase_v in_o we_o aswe_v increase_n in_o pray_v and_o it_o may_v come_v to_o pass_v that_o as_o in_o the_o morning_n we_o see_v the_o sun_n arise_v high_a and_o high_o whereby_o we_o have_v a_o great_a
