the_o party_n affect_v be_v very_o drowsy_a and_o give_v to_o sleep_v in_o which_o case_n some_o other_o sudorifical_a medicine_n may_v be_v administer_v and_o i_o have_v also_o hear_v from_o person_n of_o very_a good_a credit_n that_o both_o in_o this_o and_o other_o disease_n too_o they_o have_v cause_v their_o patient_n to_o sweat_v in_o a_o very_a abundant_a quantity_n and_o with_o very_o happy_a success_n by_o administer_a to_o they_o half_o a_o dram_n of_o the_o powder_n of_o a_o viper_n which_o be_v thus_o prepare_v you_o must_v take_v a_o viper_n and_o put_v it_o in_o whole_a and_o alive_a with_o its_o head_n tooth_n tailè_fw-la and_o bowel_n too_o into_o a_o earthen_a pot_n cover_v at_o the_o top_n in_o which_o cover_n there_o must_v be_v some_o hole_n make_v for_o evaporation_n and_o thus_o you_o be_v to_o set_v it_o upon_o live_v coal_n so_o that_o it_o may_v only_o be_v dry_v &_o not_o scorch_v and_o this_o be_v so_o prepare_v may_v as_o occasion_n shall_v require_v be_v make_v into_o a_o powder_n and_o be_v administer_v as_o other_o thing_n be_v to_o be_v and_o as_o i_o have_v more_o large_o relate_v in_o my_o french_a treatise_n with_o vinegar_n warm_v and_o it_o will_v not_o be_v amiss_o if_o one_o shall_v add_v to_o this_o a_o scruple_n of_o sudorifical_a antimony_n as_o half_a a_o dram_n thereof_o or_o else_o some_o few_o grain_n of_o bezoar_n and_o where_o these_o thing_n be_v not_o to_o be_v have_v they_o may_v take_v five_o ounce_n of_o wine-vineger_n warm_v with_o a_o dram_n of_o nutmeg_n and_o a_o scruple_n of_o saffron_n and_o put_v they_o into_o a_o bladder_n half_n full_a of_o warm_a water_n and_o so_o apply_v it_o to_o the_o low_a part_n of_o the_o belly_n continue_v this_o application_n so_o long_o till_o such_o time_n as_o some_o other_o preservative_n medicine_n that_o may_v be_v able_a if_o need_v be_v to_o cause_v the_o party_n to_o sweat_v in_o so_o great_a a_o quantity_n as_o in_o necessary_a may_v be_v procure_v and_o for_o as_o much_o as_o where_o the_o patient_n be_v to_o sweat_v in_o so_o great_a abundance_n as_o in_o this_o disease_n be_v very_o requisite_a his_o shirt_n and_o his_o linen_n about_o he_o must_v necessary_o be_v very_o wet_a and_o therefore_o author_n conceive_v and_o reasonable_o enough_o that_o these_o be_v as_o certain_a recaptacle_n of_o the_o venom_n aught_o to_o be_v change_v that_o so_o the_o patient_n may_v be_v free_v from_o the_o filthy_a stench_n wherein_o he_o lie_v wrap_v up_o yet_o i_o advise_v all_o people_n that_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v too_o rash_a in_o change_v the_o sick_a party_n linen_n unadvised_o the_o patient_n shirt_n and_o his_o other_o linen_n about_o he_o be_v not_o to_o be_v change_v unadvised_o but_o shall_v rather_o wipe_v off_o the_o sweat_n from_o they_o with_o towel_n which_o be_v not_o fresh_a and_o new_o take_v out_o of_o the_o chest_n but_o be_v
