the_o sun_n of_o our_o life_n
for_o so_o the_o apostle_n apply_v this_o text_n very_o frequent_o to_o prove_v that_o the_o just_a man_n live_v a_o spiritual_a life_n by_o faith_n obj._n obj._n but_o the_o apostle_n may_v seem_v to_o wrest_v the_o word_n because_o the_o prophet_n speak_v here_o of_o a_o temporal_a deliverance_n from_o the_o chaldean_n ans_fw-fr ans_fw-fr 1._o their_o deliverance_n from_o temporal_a babylon_n be_v a_o type_n of_o their_o deliverance_n from_o spiritual_a babylon_n 2._o however_o the_o secondary_a object_n of_o faith_n be_v divers_a some_o temporal_a some_o spiritual_a some_o eternal_a yet_o the_o prime_n and_o principal_a object_n of_o faith_n be_v still_o one_o and_o the_o same_o and_o that_o be_v jesus_n christ_n and_o god_n favour_n in_o christ_n and_o before_o i_o can_v embrace_v the_o other_o i_o must_v first_o embrace_v this_o therefore_o the_o same_o faith_n in_o christ_n that_o enable_v i_o to_o live_v in_o temporal_a thing_n enable_v i_o to_o live_v in_o spiritual_n also_o and_o so_o the_o apostle_n argument_n from_o one_o to_o the_o other_o hold_v good_a well_o then_o the_o just_a life_n by_o faith_n in_o respect_n of_o spiritual_a life_n which_o be_v far_o more_o excellent_a than_o the_o other_o as_o grace_n be_v above_o nature_n and_o this_o be_v either_o the_o life_n of_o i._o justification_n whereby_o the_o soul_n lay_v hold_v upon_o christ_n or_o ii_o sanctification_n whereby_o the_o soul_n draw_v virtue_n from_o christ_n and_o that_o be_v either_o renew_v and_o cleanse_v virtue_n the_o life_n of_o renovation_n or_o fructify_a the_o life_n
