other_o but_o chance_v to_o discourse_v of_o some_o matter_n or_o rehearse_v some_o tale_n or_o history_n or_o report_v any_o thing_n as_o occasion_n of_o speech_n may_v be_v offer_v i_o if_o some_o one_o that_o stand_v by_o tell_v i_o that_o i_o say_v not_o true_o or_o use_v any_o of_o the_o foresay_a form_n or_o manner_n of_o speech_n unto_o i_o sure_o he_o bring_v my_o truth_n in_o question_n be_v not_o true_a etc._n etc._n no_o such_o manner_n of_o speech_n or_o say_n can_v be_v injurious_a for_o that_o as_o i_o have_v above_o say_v the_o thing_n may_v be_v false_a and_o yet_o he_o no_o liar_n by_o reason_n that_o he_o either_o may_v be_v evyll_n infourm_v or_o else_o not_o understande_v the_o matter_n as_o it_o be_v or_o some_o such_o other_o thing_n may_v happen_v whereby_o he_o may_v be_v move_v to_o report_n and_o speak_v that_o again_o which_o be_v not_o true_a wherefore_o any_o such_o answer_n whatsoever_o can_v in_o any_o sort_n fall_v burdenous_a unto_o he_o one_o case_n except_v which_o be_v if_o he_o say_v that_o he_o do_v such_o a_o thing_n or_o that_o he_o do_v say_v such_o a_o thing_n or_o that_o he_o have_v be_v about_o such_o a_o matter_n or_o that_o because_o he_o do_v unlawful_o seek_v to_o defame_v i_o and_o then_o lay_v the_o charge_n on_o i_o in_o that_o he_o force_v i_o to_o seek_v to_o return_v the_o injury_n and_o make_v answer_n to_o his_o opprobrious_a word_n unless_o i_o will_v suffer_v myself_o to_o be_v shame_v injury_n charge_v without_o injury_n whereupon_o i_o give_v he_o the_o lie_n and_o so_o discharge_v myself_o and_o come_v to_o charge_v he_o which_o set_v i_o free_a &_o bind_v he_o to_o maintain_v his_o word_n which_o be_v as_o much_o as_o to_o urge_v he_o to_o challenge_v wherefrom_o we_o be_v to_o note_v that_o i_o only_o charge_v he_o without_o injure_v because_o my_o answer_n be_v but_o reasonable_a and_o so_o the_o charge_n rest_v on_o he_o as_o i_o say_v before_o injury_n without_o charge_n be_v of_o two_o sort_n viz._n of_o word_n and_o of_o deed_n of_o word_n thus_o if_o one_o man_n shall_v speak_v any_o thing_n of_o another_o which_o be_v manifest_o know_v to_o be_v false_a to_o this_o he_o shall_v not_o be_v bind_v to_o answer_v because_o the_o first_o without_o any_o return_n will_v be_v account_v a_o false_a accuser_n and_o a_o liar_n and_o in_o my_o opinion_n it_o be_v a_o more_o honourable_a reputation_n for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v silent_a in_o such_o a_o case_n than_o by_o answer_v to_o seem_v to_o make_v any_o account_n of_o the_o word_n as_o a_o noble_a worthy_a man_n say_v unto_o a_o gentleman_n that_o have_v slander_v he_o that_o he_o will_v neither_o hold_v he_o a_o friend_n nor_o a_o enemy_n not_o yet_o answer_v his_o word_n reckon_v he_o unworthy_a to_o be_v well_o speak_v off_o by_o a_o honest_a man_n and_o too_o base_a a_o subject_n for_o a_o man_n to_o speak_v evil_o off_o but_o if_o in_o case_n of_o such_o shameful_a and_o false_a word_n a_o man_n shall_v be_v urge_v and_o give_v the_o lie_n it_o be_v more_o than_o be_v requisite_a as_o a_o thing_n whereof_o a_o quarrel_n ought_v not_o to_o be_v take_v for_o quarrel_n be_v to_o testify_v a_o truth_n and_o where_o that_o be_v once_o manifest_a the_o quarrel_n be_v not_o require_v injury_n by_o deed_n without_o charge_n be_v when_o a_o man_n by_o advantage_n or_o such_o like_a mean_n offer_v a_o wrong_n and_o it_o be_v evident_a that_o such_o a_o fact_n be_v villanouslye_o do_v and_o this_o injury_n i_o account_v do_v without_o charge_n in_o such_o like_a sort_n as_o that_o be_v by_o word_n because_o that_o if_o he_o that_o
and_o see_v in_o chivalrye_n and_o arm_n that_o they_o may_v be_v counsel_v and_o advise_v by_o they_o and_o may_v in_o such_o sort_n wish_v they_o to_o the_o field_n as_o may_v best_o stand_v with_o reason_n which_o office_n may_v only_o be_v execute_v by_o learned_a man_n and_o gentleman_n whereof_o the_o first_o be_v term_v counsellor_n and_o the_o second_o padrini_n side_n padrini_n be_v
