of_o christian_n embolden_v they_o in_o their_o idolatry_n 2._o in_o respect_n of_o weak_a brethren_n that_o have_v not_o that_o clear_a knowledge_n in_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o thing_n itself_o as_o some_o have_v which_o upon_o such_o precedent_n be_v ready_a to_o venture_v upon_o the_o same_o practice_n and_o not_o have_v knowledge_n of_o himself_o his_o conscience_n be_v defile_v by_o the_o liberty_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o other_o v._o 10._o and_o so_o by_o consequence_n it_o become_v a_o sin_n unto_o the_o strong_a vers_fw-la 12._o etc._n etc._n 3._o then_o he_o come_v to_o persuade_v with_o they_o to_o forbear_v that_o practice_n upon_o several_a consideration_n and_o reason_n 1._o he_o urge_v christian_a charity_n in_o order_n unto_o the_o edification_n of_o other_o before_o knowledge_n in_o their_o liberty_n so_o as_o to_o use_v it_o to_o the_o prejudice_n of_o the_o weak_a 2._o tell_v they_o his_o own_o tenderness_n in_o such_o a_o case_n rather_o than_o he_o by_o meat_n shall_v make_v his_o brother_n to_o offend_v he_o will_v eat_v no_o flesh_n while_o the_o world_n stand_v 3._o then_o commend_v unto_o they_o himself_o and_o barnabas_n for_o a_o ensample_n in_o another_o case_n ch_z 9_o that_o although_o they_o have_v power_n as_o well_o as_o other_o apostle_n to_o marry_v &_o require_v maintenance_n from_o they_o which_o be_v no_o more_o than_o christ_n have_v ordain_v and_o appoint_v for_o the_o preacher_n of_o the_o gospel_n yet_o they_o use_v not_o this_o power_n nor_o require_v any_o such_o maintenance_n from_o they_o and_o though_o he_o be_v free_a from_o all_o yet_o he_o become_v servant_n unto_o all_o to_o the_o jew_n he_o become_v a_o jew_n to_o the_o weak_a he_o become_v as_o weak_a that_o he_o may_v save_v some_o and_o this_o he_o do_v for_o the_o gospel_n sake_n etc._n etc._n and_o then_o apply_v it_o know_v you_o not_o that_o they_o which_o run_v in_o a_o race_n run_v all_o even_o so_o run_v that_o you_o may_v obtain_v even_o as_o himself_o deny_v himself_o in_o many_o thing_n which_o he_o may_v have_v look_v after_o for_o their_o sake_n and_o the_o gospel_n look_v for_o a_o better_a prize_n or_o reward_v hereafter_o so_o he_o will_v have_v they_o to_o deny_v themselves_o
