signify_v that_o that_o determination_n in_o in_o such_o part_n whether_o our_o will_n be_v determinate_a to_o one_o part_n sort_n with_o god_n as_o be_v agree_v with_o the_o propriety_n or_o nature_n of_o the_o will_n but_o unto_o it_o be_v proper_a so_o to_o will_v one_o part_n that_o of_o his_o nature_n if_o can_v also_o will_v the_o other_o part_n wherefore_o we_o confess_v that_o if_o we_o have_v a_o respect_n unto_o god_n it_o be_v appoint_v and_o decree_v what_o we_o shall_v do_v for_o his_o knowledge_n be_v not_o in_o vain_a call_v foreknowledge_n for_o he_o have_v not_o a_o be_v possible_a which_o in_o very_a deed_n shall_v never_o be_v and_o although_o they_o shall_v never_o be_v yet_o the_o foreknowledge_n of_o god_n take_v not_o away_o from_o they_o but_o that_o they_o be_v possible_a which_o thing_n we_o will_v declare_v by_o a_o example_n of_o the_o scripture_n christ_n when_o he_o be_v take_v say_v i_o can_v have_v ask_v of_o my_o father_n and_o he_o unto_o the_o city_n of_o ninive_n it_o be_v foretell_v that_o it_o shall_v be_v destroy_v within_o forty_o day_n which_o thing_n yet_o come_v not_o to_o pass_v those_o thing_n in_o very_a deed_n make_v nothing_o against_o the_o truth_n before_o teach_v for_o god_n foretell_v unto_o ezechias_n death_n which_o be_v even_o at_o hand_n according_a to_o the_o cause_n of_o the_o disease_n whereof_o salvation_n for_o the_o nature_n of_o faith_n be_v to_o make_v man_n assure_v of_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n howbeit_o this_o be_v to_o be_v know_v that_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o so_o long_o as_o we_o live_v here_o we_o shall_v utterlye_o shake_v of_o all_o fear_n for_o we_o be_v continual_o toss_v between_o two_o cogitation_n the_o one_o of_o the_o goodness_n faith_n and_o constancy_n of_o god_n the_o other_o of_o our_o corruption_n infirmitye_n and_o prone_n to_o evil_a for_o when_o we_o consider_v how_o weak_a we_o be_v and_o prone_a to_o evil_a and_o consider_v also_o the_o filthiness_n and_o imperfection_n of_o our_o work_n though_o they_o be_v never_o so_o good_a &_o there_o with_o all_o the_o severity_n of_o the_o law_n in_o require_v even_o to_o the_o uttermost_a the_o thing_n which_o it_o command_v this_o consideration_n i_o say_v if_o it_o be_v vehement_a can_v not_o but_o exceed_o make_v a_o fear_v the_o mind_n and_o deject_v it_o but_o on_o the_o other_o side_n when_o we_o consider_v the_o clemency_n goodness_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n and_o his_o constancy_n in_o his_o promise_n and_o therewithal_o also_o remember_v that_o all_o the_o merit_n of_o christ_n be_v communicate_v unto_o we_o we_o be_v refresh_v and_o recreated_a and_o the_o fear_n be_v either_o lenify_v or_o else_o sometime_o utter_o lay_v away_o and_o these_o affect_n where_o they_o be_v perfect_a &_o vehement_a do_v succeed_v the_o one_o the_o other_o for_o they_o can_v not_o be_v both_o at_o one_o time_n or_o if_o they_o be_v both_o at_o one_o time_n then_o be_v be_v join_v with_o doubt_v charity_n faith_n do_v no_o less_o expel_v fear_n then_o do_v charity_n of_o salvation_n when_o as_o in_o john_n it_o be_v say_v that_o charity_n dryve_v fear_n out_o of_o door_n for_o it_o be_v most_o certain_a that_o that_o which_o the_o scripture_n attribute_v unto_o charity_n ought_v much_o more_o to_o be_v attribute_v unto_o faith_n for_o charity_n spring_v of_o it_o but_o as_o we_o have_v already_o say_v paul_n in_o this_o place_n entreat_v not_o of_o man_n particular_o but_o of_o the_o public_a profession_n of_o christ_n and_o of_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o of_o his_o religion_n receive_v in_o any_o whole_a nation_n or_o province_n and_o that_o which_o be_v here_o speak_v aught_o to_o stir_v up_o godly_a man_n to_o most_o fervent_a prayer_n for_o the_o preservation_n of_o the_o church_n after_o that_o he_o add_v a_o reason_n of_o his_o sentence_n for_o if_o god_n spare_v not_o the_o natural_a branch_n take_v heed_n that_o he_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v by_o the_o natural_a branch_n or_o by_o the_o branch_n of_o nature_n which_o phrase_n paul_n a_o little_a afterward_o also_o use_v chrisostome_n say_v forasmuch_o as_o in_o origen_n by_o nature_n understand_v free_a will_n as_o though_o this_o whole_a dignity_n shall_v depend_v of_o free_a will_n which_o opinion_n we_o have_v a_o little_a before_o confute_v wherefore_o ambrose_n come_v near_a unto_o the_o truth_n who_o refer_v this_o dignity_n or_o worthiness_n to_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n although_o none_o of_o they_o have_v proper_o declare_v why_o mention_v nasci_fw-la that_o be_v to_o be_v bear_v and_o yet_o be_v not_o this_o so_o to_o be_v take_v as_o though_o they_o shall_v have_v in_o themselves_o the_o beginning_n of_o holiness_n for_o that_o depend_v of_o the_o goodness_n promise_n and_o will_v of_o god_n for_o there_o be_v no_o part_n of_o the_o blessing_n of_o god_n to_o be_v attribute_v unto_o the_o stock_n of_o the_o flesh_n be_v consider_v apart_o by_o itself_o but_o so_o far_o forth_o as_o unto_o the_o stock_n or_o propagation_n be_v join_v the_o promise_n which_o be_v a_o thing_n of_o great_a efficacy_n which_o promise_n if_o we_o will_v know_v of_o how_o great_a force_n it_o be_v let_v we_o look_v upon_o flesh_n how_o the_o blessing_n of_o god_n in_o towards_o the_o stock_n and_o propagation_n of_o the_o flesh_n the_o nation_n of_o the_o jew_n which_o be_v in_o deed_n sinful_a and_o contaminate_a with_o many_o kind_n of_o sin_n and_o yet_o it_o cess_v not_o to_o be_v the_o people_n of_o god_n until_o they_o have_v public_o deny_v and_o reject_v christ_n although_o even_o then_o also_o remnant_n of_o they_o be_v save_v howbeit_o that_o people_n be_v first_o correct_v with_o the_o rod_n and_o with_o this_o be_v a_o great_a advauncement_n unto_o piety_n therefore_o paul_n set_v it_o forth_o to_o the_o end_n to_o commend_v those_o weak_a one_o to_o the_o better_a sort_n howbeit_o lest_o in_o this_o matter_n he_o shall_v attribute_v more_o unto_o they_o they_o to_o the_o free_a sort_n as_o though_o he_o shall_v think_v that_o the_o strong_a in_o use_v liberty_n have_v not_o a_o consideration_n either_o of_o those_o what_o soever_o they_o do_v have_v a_o regard_n unto_o god_n for_o that_o either_o part_n give_v thanks_n unto_o he_o be_v of_o what_o great_a force_n geve_v of_o thanks_n be_v wherefore_o geve_v of_o thanks_n be_v of_o no_o small_a force_n for_o it_o be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o certain_a healthful_a sawse_n and_o make_v that_o which_o otherwise_o of_o itself_o shall_v have_v be_v hurtful_a commodious_a and_o healthful_a unto_o us._n therefore_o paul_n to_o timothe_n write_v every_o creature_n be_v good_a and_o nothing_o be_v to_o be_v cast_v away_o which_o be_v receive_v before_o speak_v he_o stand_v to_o his_o lord_n or_o fall_v but_o the_o first_fw-mi exposition_n seem_v in_o my_o judgement_n more_o plain_a and_o agree_v with_o those_o thing_n which_o paul_n write_v to_o the_o phillippians_n and_o christ_n shall_v be_v magnify_v in_o my_o body_n whether_o it_o be_v by_o life_n or_o by_o death_n whither_o therefore_o we_o live_v or_o die_v we_o be_v the_o lord_n this_o in_o sum_n ought_v to_o be_v of_o great_a force_n with_o they_o for_o that_o not_o only_o our_o life_n and_o death_n depend_v of_o the_o lord_n but_o also_o for_o that_o we_o all_o both_o as_o
