any_o number_n of_o his_o army_n all_o which_o he_o yet_o keep_v in_o peace_n as_o he_o please_v oh_o therefore_o that_o as_o in_o that_o song_n of_o praise_n psal_n 107._o man_n consider_v all_o these_o thing_n well_o will_v make_v it_o god_n it_o glory_n to_o god_n the_o foot_n of_o every_o thing_n oh_o that_o man_n will_v praise_v the_o lord_n for_o his_o wonderful_a work_n to_o the_o order_n and_o peace_n when_o none_o can_v compel_v he_o to_o it_o if_o he_o do_v not_o please_v to_o do_v so_o 2._o grace_n man_n loath_a what_o they_o have_v constant_o as_o if_o it_o be_v no_o argument_n for_o fear_n of_o god_n as_o if_o god_n be_v tie_v to_o do_v so_o but_o think_v at_o least_o such_o wonder_n of_o extraordinary_a power_n which_o they_o do_v not_o see_v every_o day_n will_v like_o one_o from_o the_o dead_a move_z to_z repentance_n but_o even_o this_o depend_v on_o grace_n that_o he_o may_v give_v witness_n and_o demonstration_n of_o his_o wrath_n justice_n and_o power_n to_o either_o as_o he_o please_v punish_v and_o execute_v judgement_n from_o heaven_n or_o move_v to_o repentance_n for_o as_o he_o give_v fruitful_a time_n and_o season_n that_o he_o may_v not_o leave_v himself_o without_o witness_n of_o his_o goodness_n lead_v to_o repentance_n so_o of_o his_o wrath_n and_o justice_n to_o necessitate_v man_n that_o way_n for_o all_o these_o thing_n preach_v repentance_n and_o reformation_n aloud_o and_o for_o that_o end_n i_o have_v thus_o superad_v to_o the_o discourse_n of_o repentance_n 3._o that_o god_n may_v give_v notice_n of_o any_o great_a change_n he_o will_v make_v in_o the_o world_n that_o be_v near_o at_o hand_n and_o which_o within_o any_o little_a time_n he_o will_v make_v in_o it_o he_o give_v warn_v by_o earthquake_n and_o other_o unusual_a thing_n for_o so_o in_o spite_n of_o all_o that_o can_v be_v say_v to_o the_o contrary_a god_n have_v general_o usher_v in_o any_o great_a change_n he_o have_v make_v in_o the_o world_n by_o such_o sign_n and_o wonder_n in_o heaven_n and_o shake_v of_o the_o earth_n beneath_o and_o therefore_o with_o great_a right_n he_o clothes_v his_o denunciation_n and_o threat_n of_o such_o great_a judgement_n in_o such_o language_n of_o thunder_n and_o lightning_n and_o earthquake_n a_o very_a remarkable_a instance_n we_o have_v of_o this_o in_o the_o prophet_n amos._n when_o god_n be_v about_o as_o it_o be_v to_o ride_v a_o circuit_n in_o judgement_n upon_o the_o nation_n for_o three_o transgression_n and_o for_o four_o even_o upon_o each_o single_a nation_n or_o people_n amos_n date_n his_o prophecy_n two_o year_n before_o the_o earthquake_n in_o the_o day_n of_o uzziah_n 1.1_o amos_n 1.1_o how_o general_a that_o be_v be_v not_o know_v to_o we_o but_o there_o on_o the_o several_a people_n name_v and_o execute_v by_o the_o assyrian_a and_o babylonian_a conquest_n and_o why_o be_v there_o a_o mention_n of_o the_o earthquake_n two_o year_n after_o if_o god_n have_v not_o please_v to_o give_v that_o intimation_n that_o a_o earthquake_n be_v a_o fit_a forerunner_n of_o that_o judiciary_n progress_n that_o follow_v in_o those_o two_o chapter_n of_o amos_n so_o our_o lord_n matt._n 24._o make_v earthquake_n in_o divers_a place_n the_o certain_a forerunner_n of_o the_o desolation_n of_o jerusalem_n 4._o the_o lord_n jehovah_n be_v please_v to_o suffer_v earthquake_n because_o he_o have_v determine_v upon_o this_o one_o earthquake_n wherein_o he_o will_v shake_v not_o only_o the_o earth_n but_o the_o heaven_n also_o a_o great_a earthquake_n such_o as_o have_v not_o be_v since_o man_n be_v upon_o earth_n so_o mighty_a a_o earthquake_n and_o so_o great_a wherein_o every_o island_n shall_v flee_v away_o and_o the_o mountain_n shall_v not_o be_v on_o 2_o pet._n 3._o although_o this_o shall_v be_v great_a and_o to_o far_o great_a purpose_n in_o the_o new_a heaven_n and_o the_o new_a earth_n to_o perfection_n whereas_o that_o flood_n bring_v forth_o a_o heaven_n and_o earth_n for_o the_o worse_o and_o man_n grow_v as_o and_o more_o wicked_a but_o here_o righteousness_n shall_v dwell_v and_o this_o shall_v be_v the_o great_a since_o man_n
