beside_o that_o it_o may_v exasperate_v the_o spirit_n of_o man_n and_o alienate_v they_o from_o the_o thing_n impose_v which_o be_v incident_a to_o all_o man_n it_o do_v also_o add_v weight_n to_o their_o reason_n against_o conformity_n because_o they_o see_v that_o the_o bishop_n press_v their_o own_o law_n and_o constitution_n more_o than_o the_o law_n of_o christ_n that_o they_o usurp_v authority_n without_o and_o against_o the_o consent_n of_o the_o church_n not_o only_o to_o enjoin_v thing_n on_o their_o practice_n but_o also_o to_o impose_v the_o approbation_n of_o they_o upon_o reformation_n and_o think_v they_o shall_v rather_o abate_v of_o the_o first_o reformation_n and_o go_v near_o to_o rome_n then_o stir_v one_o hair_n breadth_n further_o from_o she_o this_o make_a conformity_n just_o more_o scruple_v when_o after_o 90_o year_n endeavour_n for_o reformation_n they_o have_v pharoahs_n answer_n and_o be_v beat_v to_o their_o burden_n and_o not_o aught_o of_o the_o tale_n of_o their_o brick_n to_o be_v diminish_v and_o now_o the_o case_n between_o the_o conformist_n and_o nonconformist_n be_v quite_o alter_v viz_o after_o the_o make_n of_o the_o cannon_n 1603._o before_o the_o question_n be_v whether_o the_o thing_n impose_v as_o liturgy_n ceremony_n etc._n etc._n may_v not_o be_v bear_v with_o especial_o with_o help_n of_o some_o connivance_n of_o moderate_a wean_v from_o the_o old_a discipline_n and_o custom_n of_o their_o father_n nor_o be_v the_o people_n likely_a to_o bear_v more_o purity_n and_o to_o part_v with_o all_o their_o old_a custom_n at_o once_o and_o upon_o these_o ground_n the_o nonconformist_n keep_v the_o communion_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n and_o general_o submit_v to_o the_o practice_n of_o most_o thing_n impose_v but_o now_o since_o all_o thing_n before_o complain_v of_o be_v turn_v into_o cannon_n and_o stand_v law_n and_o must_v not_o only_o be_v practise_v but_o approve_v also_o under_o their_o hand_n to_o people_n likewise_o be_v general_o weary_a of_o the_o imposition_n as_o well_o as_o the_o minister_n and_o dislike_v they_o as_o too_o much_o symbolise_n with_o rome_n and_o therefore_o all_o the_o church_n censure_n must_v be_v bend_v against_o they_o who_o the_o cannon_n call_v schismatic_n for_o this_o cause_n only_o now_o i_o say_v the_o question_n be_v whether_o the_o first_o reformation_n state_n of_o the_o question_n be_v much_o increase_v when_o the_o court_n and_o our_o prince_n take_v up_o new_a measure_n of_o marry_v with_o popish_a prince_n abroad_o and_o mix_v interest_n with_o they_o whereby_o they_o be_v necessitate_v to_o desert_n the_o protection_n and_o assistance_n which_o they_o have_v hitherto_o give_v to_o protestant_n abroad_o which_o the_o german_a and_o french_a protestant_n in_o their_o war_n quick_o feel_v the_o effect_n of_o but_o also_o to_o remit_v their_o zeal_n against_o the_o papist_n at_o home_n viz_o to_o suspend_v the_o execution_n of_o law_n against_o they_o to_o entertain_v they_o at_o court_n to_o receive_v they_o into_o office_n to_o suffer_v their_o priest_n and_o jesuit_n to_o come_v over_o in_o multitude_n and_o quick_o to_o seduce_v the_o people_n and_o that_o which_o be_v a_o necessary_a consequence_n of_o all_o this_o to_o discountenance_v and_o punish_v zealous_a minister_n and_o people_n who_o find_v fault_n with_o these_o proceed_n as_o puritan_n overhot_v indiscreet_a factious_a and_o enemy_n to_o the_o state_n for_o this_o practice_n of_o the_o court_n draw_v the_o church_n along_o with_o it_o as_o it_o usual_o do_v and_o all_o man_n that_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o rise_v must_v plead_v for_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o protestant_n marry_v with_o papist_n and_o allow_v they_o their_o worship_n and_o of_o and_o ceremony_n till_o at_o length_n it_o be_v become_v a_o indifferent_a thing_n whether_o a_o man_n be_v a_o papist_n or_o a_o protestant_n so_o he_o be_v not_o a_o puritan_n and_o continue_v in_o
