any_o merchant_n common_a buyer_n dealer_n in_o and_o retailer_n of_o any_o the_o say_a stuff_n and_o into_o the_o house_n and_o workhouse_n of_o any_o dier_n shéer-man_n calendar_n or_o other_o workman_n house_n and_o place_n of_o sale_n and_o dress_v of_o the_o say_a stuff_n at_o all_o time_n of_o the_o day_n and_o usual_a time_n of_o work_v and_o may_v there_o search_v and_o view_v the_o stuff_n there_o find_v whether_o they_o be_v order_v and_o make_v according_a to_o this_o present_a act_n try_v faulty_a and_o defective_a stuff_n to_o be_v seize_v and_o try_v and_o the_o law_n order_n and_o ordinance_n of_o the_o say_a trade_n and_o that_o if_o any_o such_o stuff_n as_o aforesaid_a shall_v be_v find_v faulty_a or_o defective_a that_o then_o they_o or_o any_o two_o of_o they_o shall_v seize_v take_v and_o carry_v away_o the_o same_o to_o be_v order_v and_o bring_v to_o trial_n and_o proceed_v against_o in_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o be_v before_o in_o this_o present_a act_n mention_v and_o appoint_v for_o defective_a stuff_n journeyman_n proviso_n for_o poor_a journeyman_n and_o for_o the_o better_a provide_v that_o poor_a journeyman_n who_o have_v serve_v in_o the_o say_a trade_n and_o be_v not_o able_a to_o set_v up_o for_o themselves_o may_v be_v employ_v in_o work_n it_o be_v hereby_o enact_v that_o whatsoever_o person_n under_o the_o regulation_n of_o the_o say_a trade_n who_o shall_v employ_v two_o apprentice_n in_o the_o say_a trade_n shall_v likewise_o employ_v and_o set_v on_o work_n two_o journeyman_n in_o the_o say_a trade_n during_o the_o time_n he_o employ_v two_o apprentice_n and_o that_o no_o master-weaver_n under_o the_o regulation_n of_o the_o say_a trade_n shall_v at_o any_o time_n have_v employ_v or_o set_v on_o work_n above_o two_o apprentice_n or_o any_o wéek-boy_n to_o weave_v in_o a_o loom_n in_o the_o say_a trade_n in_o worsted-weaving_a upon_o pain_n that_o every_o person_n shall_v forfeit_v for_o every_o month_n so_o offend_v as_o aforesaid_a the_o sum_n of_o five_o pound_n to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o king_n majesty_n act._n obedience_n and_o conformity_n to_o this_o act._n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v that_o all_o person_n who_o be_v or_o may_v be_v concern_v in_o any_o thing_n contain_v in_o this_o present_a act_n be_v hereby_o strict_o enjoin_v and_o require_v to_o yield_v due_a obedience_n thereunto_o according_a to_o the_o true_a intent_n and_o meaning_n of_o this_o present_a act_n and_o that_o if_o any_o person_n or_o person_n shall_v refuse_v execution_n penalty_n upon_o such_o as_o shall_v refuse_v or_o hinder_v the_o execution_n hinder_v or_o will_v not_o permit_v the_o say_v warden_n or_o assistant_n or_o any_o two_o or_o more_o of_o they_o to_o execute_v their_o office_n according_a to_o the_o tenor_n of_o this_o act_n that_o then_o every_o person_n so_o offend_v be_v thereof_o convict_v by_o the_o oath_n of_o one_o or_o more_o credible_a witness_n before_o the_o mayor_n of_o the_o say_a city_n or_o his_o deputy_n or_o any_o one_o justice_n of_o peace_n of_o the_o say_a city_n of_o norwich_n or_o county_n of_o norfolk_n respective_o who_o be_v hereby_o authorize_v to_o administer_v such_o oath_n shall_v forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o forty_o shilling_n to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o king_n majesty_n and_o if_o any_o person_n lawful_o summon_v to_o appear_v upon_o any_o jury_n or_o trial_n according_a to_o the_o tenor_n of_o this_o act_n trial_n the_o penalty_n for_o not_o appear_v upon_o a_o jury_n or_o trial_n shall_v refuse_v or_o neglect_v to_o first_o day_n of_o february_n have_v more_o than_o forty_o man-servant_n with_o livery_n attend_v upon_o he_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o say_a assize_n nor_o under_o the_o number_n of_o twenty_o man-servant_n in_o any_o county_n whatsoever_o within_o the_o kingdom_n of_o england_n nor_o under_o the_o number_n of_o twelve_o man-servant_n in_o any_o county_n within_o the_o dominion_n of_o of_o the_o sheriff_n of_o or_o belong_v to_o any_o city_n and_o county_n or_o town_n and_o county_n within_o this_o realm_n but_o that_o the_o same_o sheriff_n or_o sheriff_n shall_v or_o may_v do_v as_o heretofore_o have_v be_v use_v or_o accustom_v within_o the_o say_a county_n of_o middlesex_n and_o city_n of_o london_n and_o westminster_n and_o such_o other_o city_n and_o county_n or_o town_n and_o county_n aforesaid_a any_o thing_n herein_o before_o contain_v to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o exchequer_n how_o sheriff_n shall_v be_v ease_v in_o pass_v their_o account_n in_o the_o exchequer_n and_o to_o the_o end_n that_o sheriff_n may_v for_o the_o time_n future_a be_v ease_v of_o the_o great_a charge_n and_o trouble_v which_o they_o heretofore_o have_v partly_o by_o the_o account_n of_o seizure_n or_o foreign_a account_n and_o by_o the_o exaction_n of_o undue_a fee_n of_o sheriff_n upon_o their_o apposal_n concern_v the_o same_o for_o the_o prevent_n whereof_o and_o for_o the_o future_a
respective_a shore_n upon_o the_o penalty_n of_o forfeiture_n of_o the_o say_a net_n so_o employ_v or_o the_o full_a value_n thereof_o and_o one_o month_n imprisonment_n without_o bail_n or_o and_o after_o the_o day_n before_o limit_v to_o make_v or_o cause_n to_o be_v make_v any_o pilchard_n or_o fumathoe_n in_o cask_n to_o be_v sell_v or_o transport_v except_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v open_o buy_v the_o aforesaid_a fish_n of_o the_o respective_a owner_n partner_n and_o adventurer_n in_o the_o say_a pilchard_n craft_n or_o with_o their_o express_a allowance_n leave_n and_o consent_n cellar_n any_o pilchard_n fish_n without_o the_o express_a leave_n consent_n and_o allowance_n of_o the_o proper_a owner_n and_o major_a part_n of_o the_o company_n respective_o that_o then_o every_o such_o person_n and_o person_n that_o shall_v offend_v therein_o upon_o legal_a evidence_n shall_v pay_v treble_a the_o value_n in_o satisfaction_n to_o the_o party_n so_o wrong_v and_o be_v send_v this_o act_n in_o the_o exercise_n of_o religion_n differ_v from_o the_o rite_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n then_o every_o such_o keeper_n of_o a_o gaol_n or_o house_n of_o correction_n shall_v for_o every_o such_o offence_n forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o ten_o pound_n to_o be_v levy_v raise_v and_o dispose_a by_o such_o person_n penalty_n the_o penalty_n and_o in_o such_o manner_n as_o the_o but_o that_o instead_o thereof_o she_o shall_v by_o the_o respective_a court_n be_v commit_v to_o the_o goal_n or_o house_n of_o correction_n there_o to_o remain_v without_o bail_n or_o mainprize_n of_o any_o jury_n or_o order_v to_o be_v examine_v upon_o interrogatory_n or_o be_v present_a in_o court_n shall_v refuse_v to_o take_v any_o judicial_a oath_n legal_o tender_v to_o he_o by_o the_o judge_n or_o judge_n of_o the_o same_o court_n have_v no_o legal_a plea_n to_o justify_v or_o excuse_v the_o refusal_n of_o the_o same_o oath_n or_o if_o any_o person_n or_o person_n be_v due_o
