doubt_v whether_o this_o be_v consistent_a with_o the_o goodness_n and_o holiness_n of_o god_n let_v i_o ask_v you_o this_o one_o question_n viz._n may_v not_o god_n deny_v the_o mean_n of_o grace_n to_o who_o he_o please_v and_o yet_o be_v a_o holy_a and_o question_n a_o righteous_a god_n you_o will_v say_v yes_o for_o he_o be_v not_o bind_v to_o give_v it_o to_o any_o why_o then_o may_v not_o god_n deny_v it_o to_o and_o withdraw_v it_o from_o they_o in_o judgement_n that_o have_v abuse_v his_o patience_n and_o turn_v the_o doctrine_n of_o grace_n into_o wantonness_n do_v god_n give_v up_o man_n to_o satan_n and_o to_o their_o lust_n to_o be_v seduce_v and_o harden_v be_v not_o these_o his_o instrument_n in_o punish_v sinner_n and_o may_v not_o the_o just_a and_o holy_a god_n use_v what_o instrument_n he_o please_v for_o the_o execution_n of_o his_o wrath_n for_o sin_n but_o here_o you_o will_v multiply_v objection_n against_o what_o i_o have_v say_v which_o i_o shall_v brief_o answer_v some_o of_o you_o will_v say_v be_v not_o blindness_n of_o ob._n 1_o mind_n and_o hardness_n of_o heart_n sin_n how_o then_o can_v the_o holy_a god_n blind_a and_o harden_v any_o and_o not_o author_n of_o his_o own_o judgement_n without_o be_v the_o author_n of_o sin_n but_o two_o you_o must_v know_v that_o there_o be_v a_o difference_n between_o hardness_n and_o harden_v ans_fw-fr 2_o blindness_n and_o blind_a blindness_n and_o hardiness_n be_v a_o sin_n but_o to_o blind_a and_o harden_v be_v not_o always_o so_o remember_v that_o blindness_n be_v not_o from_o god_n as_o a_o sin_n but_o as_o a_o just_a judgement_n upon_o some_o for_o harden_v their_o own_o heart_n it_o be_v not_o possible_a say_v 4._o hos_fw-la 13._o 9_o rom._n 14._o 4._o one_o that_o we_o shall_v sin_v by_o he_o by_o who_o we_o repent_v and_o rise_v from_o sin_n it_o be_v from_o god_n that_o we_o stand_v from_o ourselves_o that_o we_o fall_v so_o that_o god_n be_v not_o the_o author_n of_o sin_n in_o give_v man_n up_o to_o blindness_n of_o mind_n to_o believe_v lie_n god_n say_v some_o be_v not_o angry_a with_o his_o own_o work_n but_o he_o be_v with_o man_n for_o their_o ob._n 2_o blindness_n and_o hardness_n therefore_o he_o can_v no_o way_n be_v say_v to_o harden_v and_o blind_v hardness_n and_o blindness_n as_o it_o be_v a_o sin_n and_o answer_n the_o cause_n of_o sin_n so_o it_o be_v not_o of_o nor_o from_o god_n but_o as_o it_o be_v a_o just_a punishment_n of_o sin_n so_o it_o be_v of_o and_o from_o he_o who_o be_v high_o provoke_v be_v please_v that_o the_o obstinacy_n of_o the_o wicked_a shall_v be_v thus_o punish_v so_o that_o though_o this_o be_v not_o god_n work_n as_o it_o be_v sin_n yet_o it_o be_v his_o work_n as_o it_o be_v a_o judgement_n but_o three_o god_n say_v other_o giveth_z occasion_n ob._n 3_o to_o man_n that_o their_o heart_n may_v be_v blind_v and_o harden_v etc._n etc._n this_o be_v true_a in_o a_o sense_n but_o remember_v answer_n it_o be_v through_o the_o lust_n and_o corruption_n of_o man_n heart_n that_o they_o become_v such_o occasion_n like_a as_o a_o rebellious_a son_n be_v the_o more_o harden_a by_o the_o kindness_n and_o benignity_n of_o his_o parent_n the_o miracle_n which_o god_n show_v in_o egypt_n and_o which_o christ_n wrought_v before_o the_o jew_n and_o pharisee_n and_o the_o sermon_n which_o he_o and_o the_o apostle_n preach_v have_v not_o in_o themselves_o any_o tendency_n to_o produce_v such_o a_o effect_n as_o this_o of_o blindness_n yet_o these_o you_o see_v through_o the_o lust_n of_o their_o heart_n be_v occasion_n of_o their_o harden_v the_o mistress_n of_o a_o house_n say_v one_o do_v not_o think_v that_o she_o be_v accessary_a to_o her_o servant_n theft_n because_o she_o suffer_v plate_n to_o go_v free_o about_o the_o house_n for_o the_o use_n of_o the_o family_n which_o possible_o be_v a_o temptation_n to_o the_o lust_n of_o her_o servant_n to_o make_v he_o or_o her_o steal_n god_n
