reckon_v to_o the_o elect_a as_o the_o material_a formal_a cause_n of_o their_o justification_n and_o yet_o say_v he_o we_o be_v not_o god_v with_o god_n and_o chri_v with_o christ_n i_o grant_v indeed_o neither_o he_o nor_o any_o other_o whoever_o they_o be_v be_v or_o ever_o shall_v be_v gode_v with_o god_n or_o chri_v with_o christ_n but_o that_o this_o must_v be_v the_o consequence_n exist_v but_o in_o union_n with_o the_o divine_a what_o ground_n can_v there_o be_v for_o this_o distinction_n first_o the_o divine_a righteousness_n second_o the_o humane_a three_o the_o righteousness_n of_o both_o nature_n unite_a i_o will_v know_v when_o and_o where_o they_o be_v disunite_v after_o the_o humane_a nature_n have_v once_o a_o existence_n i_o deny_v not_o that_o christ_n righteousness_n as_o god_n be_v distinct_a from_o his_o righteousness_n as_o man_n as_o well_o as_o humane_a nature_n be_v distinct_a from_o the_o divine_a though_o unite_v in_o one_o and_o the_o same_o person_n but_o this_o be_v that_o i_o desire_v to_o know_v when_o or_o where_o there_o be_v a_o righteousness_n of_o both_o these_o nature_n consider_v as_o exist_v disunite_v if_o not_o to_o what_o purpose_n then_o be_v that_o which_o he_o call_v his_o two_o first_o sort_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n i_o mean_v the_o distinction_n of_o his_o righteousness_n into_o divine_a and_o humane_a from_o the_o righteousness_n of_o both_o nature_n unite_v and_o how_o can_v he_o make_v three_o sort_n go_v we_o upon_o his_o own_o supposition_n for_o he_o say_v there_o be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n as_o god_n and_o his_o righteousness_n as_o man_n and_o then_o the_o righteousness_n of_o both_o nature_n unite_v now_o if_o he_o consider_v the_o nature_n as_o divide_v and_o if_o again_o as_o unite_v he_o have_v but_o still_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o divine_a and_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o humane_a nature_n which_o righteousness_n be_v but_o twofold_a where_o now_o be_v his_o three_o sort_n or_o where_o will_v he_o find_v it_o his_o four_o sort_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n as_o he_o call_v it_o be_v his_o obedience_n in_o life_n and_o death_n and_o this_o say_v he_o be_v the_o righteousness_n which_o be_v impute_v now_o as_o he_o make_v this_o a_o four_o sort_n and_o so_o specifical_o distinct_a from_o the_o other_o than_o this_o obedience_n of_o christ_n according_a to_o he_o must_v neither_o be_v his_o righteousness_n as_o man_n nor_o his_o righteousness_n as_o god_n nor_o his_o righteousness_n as_o god_n and_o man_n unite_v for_o it_o be_v blasphemy_n quoth_v he_o to_o say_v that_o any_o of_o these_o sort_n of_o righteousness_n as_o he_o call_v they_o be_v impute_v and_o if_o christ_n obedience_n in_o life_n and_o death_n be_v none_o of_o these_o what_o or_o who_o righteousness_n must_v it_o be_v it_o can_v according_a to_o what_o he_o say_v be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n for_o he_o be_v both_o god_n and_o man_n and_o his_o righteousness_n then_o must_v be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o that_o person_n who_o be_v both_o god_n and_o man_n and_o if_o this_o obedience_n in_o life_n and_o death_n which_o he_o say_v be_v the_o righteousness_n impute_v be_v neither_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o divine_a nor_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o humane_a nature_n as_o he_o suppose_v in_o separation_n nor_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o divine_a and_o humane_a nature_n in_o union_n than_o it_o be_v manifest_v it_o can_v be_v christ_n according_a to_o his_o doctrine_n have_v not_o this_o man_n think_v thou_o reader_n run_v division_n to_o a_o purpose_n in_o christ_n righteousness_n until_o he_o have_v whole_o cut_v off_o and_o cast_v away_o from_o he_o his_o active_a and_o passive_a righteousness_n beside_o his_o divide_v the_o righteousness_n of_o his_o divine_a and_o humane_a nature_n which_o be_v but_o two_o into_o three_o consider_v consider_v i_o beseech_v you_o you_o that_o be_v so_o stiff_a for_o such_o a_o imputation_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n as_o to_o be_v formal_o in_o your_o own_o person_n righteous_a with_o it_o what_o this_o doctrine_n lead_v to_o shut_v not_o your_o eye_n against_o clear_a light_n the_o lord_n make_v it_o a_o conviction_n unto_o you_o when_o you_o hear_v that_o man_n will_v have_v the_o active_a and_o passive_a obedience_n of_o christ_n to_o be_v that_o they_o be_v material_o and_o formal_o righteous_a with_o and_o yet_o will_v not_o have_v this_o active_a and_o passive_a obedience_n to_o be_v either_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n as_o god_n or_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n as_o man_n or_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n as_o god_n and_o man_n and_o so_o to_o be_v none_o of_o christ_n righteousness_n at_o all_o so_o that_o now_o according_a to_o this_o man_n we_o must_v have_v a_o righteousness_n and_o a_o righteousness_n impute_v for_o our_o justification_n which_o be_v the_o active_a and_o passive_a obedience_n of_o some_o person_n but_o who_o i_o can_v tell_v see_v he_o exclude_v the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n as_o god_n man_n mediator_n say_v it_o can_v without_o blasphemy_n be_v say_v to_o be_v impute_v to_o we_o and_o without_o doubt_v the_o active_a and_o passive_a obedience_n of_o christ_n be_v a_o righteousness_n and_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n god_n man_n mediator_n and_o such_o a_o righteousness_n as_o be_v essential_a to_o his_o office_n see_v he_o will_v not_o have_v be_v a_o mediator_n without_o it_o but_o some_o may_v say_v christ_n active_a and_o passive_a obedience_n be_v essential_a to_o the_o execution_n of_o his_o office_n as_o mediator_n but_o not_o to_o the_o constitution_n i_o answer_v yes_o to_o the_o constitution_n as_o a_o actual_a and_o perfect_a mediator_n so_o far_o as_o respect_v his_o undertake_a work_n both_o upon_o earth_n and_o now_o in_o heaven_n heb._n 5._o 8_o 9_o though_o he_o be_v a_o son_n yet_o learn_v he_o
