as_o he_o be_v a_o subtle_a hypocrite_n always_o speak_v for_o god_n and_o good_a thing_n though_o in_o his_o action_n if_o you_o observe_v he_o there_o he_o shall_v plain_o demonstrate_v that_o he_o regard_v neither_o god_n nor_o goodness_n i_o will_v not_o have_v man_n to_o be_v rash_a and_o heady_a censurer_n special_o in_o the_o application_n of_o this_o little_a horn._n for_o true_o i_o i_o take_v it_o foretell_v by_o our_o saviour_n but_o and_o if_o that_o evil_a servant_n shall_v say_v in_o his_o heart_n my_o lord_n delay_v his_o come_n and_o shall_v begin_v to_o smite_v his_o fellow_n servant_n and_o to_o eat_v and_o drink_v with_o the_o drunken_a etc._n etc._n mat._n 24_o 48_o 49._o first_o this_o smite_v must_v be_v understand_v as_o i_o say_v before_o of_o person_n of_o god_n tell_v we_o that_o the_o place_n where_o the_o witness_n lie_v slay_v be_v without_o the_o great_a city_n yet_o of_o it_o the_o hypocrisy_n of_o the_o beast_n the_o great_a character_n of_o he_o be_v here_o again_o notable_o lay_v open_a as_o if_o he_o shall_v make_v war_n with_o one_o part_n of_o babylon_n for_o example_n the_o spaniard_n pretend_v therein_o to_o be_v without_o the_o great_a city_n and_o against_o the_o whore_n and_o yet_o at_o the_o at_o the_o same_o time_n to_o be_v of_o it_o and_o for_o it_o in_o make_v league_n and_o covenant_n offensive_a and_o defensive_a with_o other_o of_o the_o same_o antichristian_a kingdom_n suppose_v portugal_n and_o france_n and_o as_o idolatrous_a and_o as_o great_a enemy_n to_o jesus_n christ_n as_o that_o part_n of_o babylon_n against_o who_o he_o war_n second_o that_o the_o slay_a testimony_n of_o christ_n be_v set_v forth_o under_o dead_a body_n this_o may_v be_v to_o signify_v 1._o as_o a_o thing_n dead_a be_v soon_o forget_v yea_o man_n will_v endeavour_v to_o put_v away_o the_o remembrance_n and_o thought_n of_o it_o so_o apostate_n have_v forsake_v the_o truth_n it_o be_v no_o other_o now_o then_o dead_a and_o that_o their_o conscience_n may_v not_o smite_v they_o for_o it_o they_o fall_v upon_o new_a matter_n not_o intend_v to_o bear_v witness_v any_o more_o to_o the_o good_a old_a cause_n it_o be_v dead_a 2._o person_n dead_a loose_a their_o beauty_n no_o fairness_n or_o comeliness_n appear_v in_o they_o though_o live_v sweet_a and_o lovely_a to_o behold_v so_o the_o principle_n of_o justice_n honesty_n conscience_n etc._n etc._n when_o once_o slay_v what_o excellency_n can_v the_o beast_n see_v in_o they_o hypocrisy_n deceit_n pride_n oppression_n look_v better_o in_o his_o eye_n a_o thousand_o fold_n 3._o to_o show_v the_o cruel_a design_n of_o the_o beast_n that_o nothing_o will_v satisfy_v his_o turn_n but_o the_o heart_n blood_n of_o god_n cause_n the_o utter_a extirpation_n of_o it_o that_o the_o name_n of_o israel_n may_v be_v no_o more_o 4._o dead_a man_n be_v not_o fear_v neither_o do_v the_o beast_n now_o fear_n the_o testimony_n of_o these_o man_n for_o he_o have_v they_o the_o testimony_n of_o jesus_n it_o will_v have_v save_v itself_o and_o not_o be_v kill_v but_o it_o appear_v now_o it_o be_v only_o their_o own_o testimony_n when_o they_o be_v so_o hot_a against_o tithe_n tryer_n priest_n lawyer_n ha_o ha_o and_o this_o be_v one_o reason_n why_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n will_v be_v so_o terrible_a upon_o the_o beast_n and_o the_o apostate_n of_o his_o time_n because_o none_o before_o they_o cause_v the_o holy_a name_n of_o god_n and_o his_o truth_n to_o be_v so_o much_o blaspheme_v for_o in_o the_o whole_a time_n of_o his_o reign_n man_n will_v not_o cease_v to_o curse_v and_o revile_v the_o testimony_n of_o jesus_n yea_o the_o very_a apostate_n themselves_o will_v turn_v scoffer_n special_o near_o the_o time_n of_o the_o witness_n rise_v then_o apostate-professour_n will_v begin_v to_o jeer_v and_o taunt_v indeed_o when_o they_o see_v christ_n in_o his_o testimony_n not_o only_o nail_v on_o the_o cross_n but_o to_o their_o think_n give_v up_o the_o ghost_n now_o harken_v where_o be_v your_o fist_n kingdom_n say_v they_o the_o little_a horn_n your_o three_o year_n and_o a_o half_a neither_o will_v they_o spare_v the_o slay_a testimony_n in_o their_o pulpit_n but_o there_o they_o will_v break_v their_o jest_n against_o it_o to_o have_v the_o people_n laugh_v but_o three_o it_o be_v worth_a inquire_n why_o not_o only_o
