ourselves_o we_o have_v no_o power_n over_o ourselves_o it_o be_v most_o certain_a and_o we_o have_v behold_v some_o seem_o very_a rational_a for_o want_v of_o grace_n destroy_v that_o body_n they_o best_o love_v their_o own_o with_o their_o own_o hand_n and_o how_o then_o can_v we_o place_v any_o settle_a trust_n in_o another_o faith_n must_v throw_v we_o out_o at_o last_o a_o anchor_n for_o sense_n nor_o comprehend_v what_o be_v above_o we_o by_o our_o reason_n but_o his_o wisdom_n be_v infinite_a and_o unsearchable_a and_o yet_o perhaps_o may_v appear_v to_o we_o herein_o that_o we_o shall_v trust_v even_o while_o here_o in_o none_o but_o he_o who_o be_v for_o ever_o one_o and_o the_o same_o and_o lord_n over_o all_o and_o who_o if_o we_o love_v he_o will_v withhold_v nothing_o he_o see_v good_a for_o we_o and_o become_v himself_o our_o comforter_n in_o all_o our_o affliction_n epist._n vii_o of_o the_o different_a vain_a pursuit_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n wherein_o we_o our_o labour_n will_v not_o profit_v in_o my_o treatise_n of_o the_o soul_n i_o make_v some_o glance_n at_o the_o various_a and_o different_a pursuit_n of_o it_o in_o man_n that_o be_v the_o affectionary_n or_o embrace_a part_n of_o it_o but_o i_o can_v not_o but_o behold_v withal_o the_o several_a opinion_n that_o man_n seem_v to_o have_v of_o the_o pursuit_n of_o each_o other_o affection_n how_o vain_a every_o man_n think_v that_o to_o be_v which_o he_o himself_o affect_v not_o or_o desire_n but_o the_o behold_v the_o variety_n of_o opinion_n and_o judgement_n in_o the_o case_n with_o the_o folly_n and_o madness_n of_o all_o man_n will_v have_v conduce_v little_a to_o the_o present_a cure_n of_o any_o soul_n disease_v and_o therefore_o i_o need_v not_o to_o insert_v my_o thought_n thereabouts_o in_o such_o treatise_n but_o have_v reserve_v and_o now_o send_v they_o to_o you_o for_o your_o perusal_n truth_n be_v all_o our_o course_n as_o various_a as_o they_o be_v in_o any_o excess_n and_o not_o necessary_o relate_v to_o some_o other_o end_n than_o what_o they_o seem_v to_o a_o ordinary_a spectator_n to_o tend_v after_o be_v equal_o frivolous_a and_o vain_a and_o though_o we_o be_v every_o one_o of_o we_o very_a dimm-sighted_n towards_o any_o espial_n of_o our_o own_o folly_n and_o ridiculous_a eager_a and_o long_a pursuit_n yet_o be_v we_o quick_a and_o apt_a enough_o to_o see_v and_o deride_v the_o same_o madness_n and_o folly_n in_o other_o and_o we_o never_o need_v with_o the_o psalmist_n attribute_v laughter_n to_o he_o who_o dwell_v in_o the_o heaven_n from_o his_o only_a or_o alone_o behold_v our_o futile_a contrivance_n since_o we_o ourselves_o be_v able_a to_o afford_v it_o one_o another_o from_o the_o weak_a inspection_n we_o do_v or_o be_v able_a to_o make_v into_o any_o man_n madness_n or_o folly_n but_o our_o own_o i_o do_v think_v the_o creator_n of_o all_o thing_n who_o afford_v himself_o that_o bless_a centre_n of_o rest_n unto_o our_o soul_n and_o to_o who_o our_o best_a and_o chief_a affection_n may_v from_o very_a gratitude_n rational_o tend_v have_v of_o his_o abundant_a wisdom_n and_o gracious_a goodness_n permit_v
