i_o say_v unto_o you_o whatsoever_o you_o shall_v ask_v the_o father_n in_o my_o name_n he_o will_v give_v it_o you_o which_o compare_v with_o joh._n 14._o 13._o 14._o show_n that_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n be_v one_o for_o say_v he_o whatsoever_o you_o shall_v ask_v in_o my_o name_n that_o will_v i_o do_v that_o the_o father_n may_v be_v glorify_v in_o the_o son_n and_o again_o in_o the_o next_o verse_n if_o you_o shall_v ask_v anything_o in_o my_o name_n i_o will_v do_v it_o all_o which_o show_v that_o christ_n do_v not_o purchase_v nor_o do_v he_o intercede_v for_o the_o father_n love_n and_o mercy_n but_o intercee_v as_o a_o advocate_n plead_v his_o own_o merit_n in_o take_v away_o sin_n and_o bring_v in_o a_o everlasting_a righteousness_n so_o that_o be_v for_o god_n glory_n the_o honour_n of_o his_o law_n the_o strickness_n of_o his_o justice_n to_o show_v mercy_n to_o the_o sinner_n therefore_o he_o say_v i_o will_v do_v it_o that_o the_o father_n may_v be_v glorify_v in_o the_o son_n and_o indeed_o it_o be_v little_o less_o than_o the_o blasphemy_n to_o say_v that_o the_o father_n love_n and_o mercy_n be_v not_o so_o great_a or_o be_v not_o so_o early_o as_o the_o son_n for_o god_n be_v of_o one_o mind_n and_o who_o can_v turn_v he_o have_v thus_o prove_v that_o christ_n offer_v himself_o up_o as_o a_o sacrifice_n to_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n to_o make_v a_o attovement_n for_o transgression_n it_o will_v be_v necessary_a to_o inquire_v what_o kind_n of_o priest_n and_o sacrifice_n this_o must_v be_v what_o mighty_a mediator_n this_o must_v be_v that_o interpose_v between_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n and_o the_o guilty_a sinner_n and_o as_o the_o doctrine_n of_o satisfaction_n aught_o to_o be_v receive_v with_o all_o humility_n and_o thankfulness_n with_o all_o care_n and_o watchfulness_n to_o prove_v ourselves_o to_o be_v of_o the_o number_n of_o those_o that_o be_v redeem_a from_o
