full_a career_n of_o his_o sin_n powerful_o though_o there_o be_v not_o always_o a_o inhibition_n by_o his_o power_n yet_o there_o be_v still_o a_o prohibition_n by_o his_o law_n to_o make_v we_o inexcusable_a lord_n work_n on_o my_o deprave_a will_n physical_o work_v moral_o work_v sufficient_o and_o work_v powerful_o by_o the_o word_n by_o thy_o spirit_n by_o thy_o law_n by_o thy_o sword_n circumcise_v my_o heart_n and_o ear_n the_o one_o by_o the_o sword_n of_o the_o spirit_n the_o other_o by_o the_o sword_n of_o the_o word_n if_o i_o can_v be_v restrain_v by_o thy_o law_n to_o forbear_v the_o forbid_a fruit_n with_o adam_n let_v i_o be_v constrain_v by_o the_o glitter_n of_o thy_o sword_n to_o stop_v in_o the_o way_n of_o wickedness_n with_o balaam_n xxxvii_o though_o nothing_o be_v contingent_a to_o god_n yet_o his_o knowledge_n may_v consider_v contingency_n as_o they_o be_v contingent_a for_o what_o by_o man_n be_v do_v contingent_o by_o he_o it_o be_v foresee_v the_o cause_n of_o thy_o judgement_n be_v thy_o justice_n and_o my_o sin_n the_o occasion_n thy_o justice_n be_v eternal_a thy_o judgement_n be_v just_a my_o sin_n be_v contingent_a if_o it_o be_v not_o for_o thy_o judgement_n i_o shall_v not_o acknowledge_v my_o sin_n if_o it_o be_v not_o for_o my_o sin_n thou_o can_v not_o exercise_v thy_o judgement_n and_o if_o it_o be_v not_o for_o thy_o justice_n there_o will_v be_v no_o proportion_n between_o thy_o judgement_n and_o my_o sin_n the_o exercise_n of_o thy_o judgement_n will_v cease_v if_o thou_o put_v a_o end_n to_o my_o sin_n but_o thy_o justice_n shall_v not_o cease_v though_o thou_o in_o mercy_n pardon_v my_o sin_n xxxviii_o nature_n be_v before_o grace_n and_o the_o work_n of_o creation_n before_o the_o effect_n of_o holy_a ghost_n so_o he_o decree_v first_o to_o give_v man_n natural_a ability_n by_o the_o work_n of_o creation_n and_o then_o to_o bestow_v on_o he_o supernatural_a grace_n the_o effect_n of_o predestination_n lord_n thou_o have_v gift_v i_o with_o natural_a faculty_n whereby_o i_o exceed_v the_o beast_n and_o thou_o have_v endow_v i_o with_o supernatural_a grace_n whereby_o i_o be_o equal_a to_o the_o angel_n i_o praise_v thou_o for_o the_o work_n of_o thy_o creation_n much_o more_o for_o that_o of_o predestination_n by_o the_o one_o thou_o make_v i_o a_o man_n by_o the_o other_o a_o happy_a man_n make_v i_o to_o exceed_v the_o beast_n as_o much_o in_o moral_a virtue_n as_o i_o excel_v they_o in_o natural_a ability_n so_o make_v i_o to_o equal_v the_o angel_n as_o much_o in_o love_n and_o obedience_n as_o i_o come_v near_o they_o in_o supernatural_a happiness_n xxxix_o god_n do_v first_o foresee_v that_o adam_n will_v sin_v before_o he_o predestinate_v christ_n to_o die_v for_o sin_n he_o foresee_v the_o disease_n then_o prepare_v the_o remedy_n he_o foresee_v the_o leprosy_n then_o ordain_v the_o blood_n of_o his_o son_n to_o wash_v it_o for_o as_o the_o sinner_n only_o be_v capable_a of_o the_o grace_n of_o regeneration_n so_o this_o grace_n be_v preordain_v to_o the_o sinner_n in_o god_n predestination_n o_o my_o god_n if_o thou_o be_v so_o provident_a as_o to_o prepare_v physic_n for_o my_o sinful_a soul_n before_o i_o have_v sin_v i_o be_o confident_a thy_o goodness_n be_v not_o now_o lessen_v but_o that_o thou_o will_v apply_v that_o same_o physic_n to_o my_o soul_n have_v sin_v xl_o god_n image_n in_o man_n consist_v in_o nature_n and_o natural_a property_n in_o moral_a virtue_n and_o supernatural_a grace_n the_o first_o be_v total_o retain_v in_o adam_n fall_n the_o three_o total_o lose_v the_o second_o lose_v in_o part_n again_o the_o essential_a part_n of_o god_n image_n remain_v to_o wit_n the_o soul_n but_o the_o accidental_a part_n
