call_v and_o yet_o christ_n love_v she_o and_o show_v it_o by_o his_o intercession_n for_o she_o in_o heaven_n and_o by_o labour_v to_o cleanse_v she_o by_o his_o spirit_n and_o word_n in_o earth_n object_n but_o she_o be_v a_o carnal_a and_o unregenerate_a woman_n a_o mere_a wicked_a woman_n that_o neither_o do_v nor_o will_v fear_v god_n and_o christ_n do_v not_o love_v heretic_n or_o hypocrite_n or_o profane_a person_n and_o pagan_n answ_n though_o this_o reason_n from_o christ_n example_n do_v not_o hold_v yet_o the_o reason_n from_o god_n institution_n bind_v thou_o thou_o must_v love_v she_o not_o because_o she_o deserve_v it_o but_o because_o god_n require_v it_o quest_n be_v a_o man_n bind_v to_o esteem_v his_o wife_n above_o all_o woman_n answ_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o affection_n and_o practice_v of_o the_o thing_n essential_o necessary_a to_o conjugal_a duty_n he_o be_v but_o not_o in_o opinion_n of_o his_o praise_n for_o that_o be_v the_o commendation_n of_o the_o good_a wife_n not_o of_o every_o wife_n prou._n 31.30_o thus_o of_o the_o objection_n six_o the_o let_v follow_v how_o come_v it_o to_o pass_v that_o man_n do_v not_o perform_v this_o duty_n answ._n it_o be_v in_o some_o by_o reason_n of_o their_o sinful_a come_n together_o as_o in_o sudden_a marriage_n wife_n when_o they_o be_v do_v before_o there_o be_v a_o calling_n or_o affection_n in_o the_o heart_n so_o when_o man_n have_v ill_a end_n as_o those_o man_n that_o marry_v their_o wife_n not_o for_o grace_n or_o favour_n but_o for_o wealth_n when_o they_o be_v possess_v of_o both_o they_o will_v love_v their_o wealth_n and_o hate_v their_o wife_n 2_o corruption_n of_o nature_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o want_n of_o love_n they_o be_v wicked_a man_n therefore_o wicked_a husband_n 3_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v because_o man_n do_v not_o by_o prayer_n seek_v love_n of_o god_n neglect_v of_o prayer_n and_o mortification_n be_v the_o cause_n 4_o man_n love_v the_o they_o discourteous_o or_o by_o unjust_a restraint_n or_o last_o by_o blow_n but_o many_o man_n have_v little_a grow_v in_o their_o furrow_n but_o wormwood_n they_o have_v a_o true_a gall_n of_o upon_o all_o the_o saint_n reconcile_a they_o to_o god_n i_o say_v all_o the_o saint_n both_o those_o that_o be_v in_o heaven_n already_o and_o those_o that_o be_v yet_o on_o earth_n hope_v for_o that_o glory_n in_o heaven_n hereafter_o reconcile_v and_o that_o this_o be_v so_o you_o be_v able_a out_o of_o your_o own_o experience_n to_o avouch_v for_o whereas_o by_o nature_n you_o be_v stranger_n from_o god_n and_o the_o life_n of_o god_n you_o be_v very_a enemy_n to_o god_n and_o all_o goodness_n and_o this_o alienation_n and_o enmity_n be_v apparent_o seat_v in_o your_o very_a
