and_o how_o they_o be_v distinguish_v from_o one_o another_o and_o also_o how_o they_o be_v join_v together_o do_v contribute_v mutual_a assistance_n to_o one_o another_o in_o the_o justification_n of_o the_o ungodly_a for_o though_o we_o deny_v repentance_n not_o that_o both_o be_v very_o please_v to_o god_n yet_o the_o one_o be_v acceptable_a to_o he_o one_o way_n and_o the_o other_o another_o way_n for_o faith_n be_v acceptable_a through_o christ_n but_o repentance_n only_o upon_o the_o account_n of_o faith_n and_o it_o be_v also_o a_o certain_a truth_n that_o though_o by_o faith_n only_o as_o the_o procure_a cause_n we_o obtain_v justification_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n yet_o this_o very_a faith_n do_v not_o put_v forth_o its_o power_n of_o justify_v upon_o any_o but_o penitent_a and_o brokenhearted_a sinner_n and_o therefore_o in_o the_o gospel_n we_o be_v so_o often_o invite_v to_o repentance_n not_o that_o it_o be_v not_o true_a faith_n only_o which_o justify_v without_o repentance_n but_o because_o faith_n if_o it_o be_v true_a justify_v no_o other_o but_o they_o that_o have_v turn_v from_o their_o sin_n in_o sincerity_n and_o be_v convert_v unto_o god_n by_o repentance_n for_o such_o as_o have_v no_o trouble_n of_o conscience_n nor_o sorrow_n for_o sin_n but_o run_v on_o obstinate_o against_o their_o conscience_n and_o continue_v in_o their_o evil_a they_o that_o be_v justify_v but_o these_o thing_n have_v no_o union_n with_o faith_n in_o the_o concernment_n of_o justification_n and_o first_o as_o touch_v repentance_n abundance_n have_v be_v say_v before_o for_o see_v repentance_n be_v nothing_o but_o a_o mourning_n for_o sin_n commit_v it_o may_v indeed_o of_o itself_o afflict_v the_o guilty_a person_n and_o fit_v he_o for_o receive_v of_o grace_n but_o it_o can_v obtain_v a_o pardon_n for_o the_o sin_n commit_v before_o a_o secular_a judge_n and_o much_o less_o before_o the_o judgement_n seat_n of_o god_n for_o that_o be_v the_o office_n of_o faith_n which_o as_o it_o only_o obtain_v a_o pardon_n so_o it_o obtain_v it_o for_o none_o but_o they_o that_o be_v afflict_v and_o repent_v and_o believe_v in_o christ._n for_o for_o their_o sake_n chief_o christ_n be_v send_v by_o his_o father_n into_o this_o world_n that_o he_o may_v help_v all_o they_o that_o be_v in_o distress_n fly_v to_o he_o by_o faith_n in_o which_o three_o thing_n be_v to_o be_v consider_v and_o place_v each_o of_o they_o in_o their_o own_o bound_n and_o territory_n first_o that_o we_o may_v see_v what_o the_o mediator_n do_v what_o faith_n perform_v &_o what_o sorrow_n for_o sin_n produce_v all_o our_o salvation_n flow_v from_o the_o mediator_n as_o from_o a_o spring_n and_o fountain_n but_o if_o you_o ask_v how_o or_o for_o what_o cause_n he_o save_v i_o answer_v by_o faith_n and_o if_o you_o ask_v who_o he_o save_v i_o answer_v those_o that_o repent_v of_o their_o wickedness_n or_o who_o he_o draw_v unto_o himself_o by_o a_o inward_a call_n do_v the_o lord_n then_o save_o those_o for_o their_o repentance_n no_o very_o suppose_v a_o man_n be_v great_o grieve_v at_o the_o remembrance_n of_o his_o bypass_a life_n but_o yet_o
