but_o now_o we_o come_v to_o examine_v the_o word_n of_o the_o petition_n the_o word_n bread_n be_v take_v in_o this_o place_n neither_o simple_o nor_o metaphoricallie_o for_o the_o bread_n of_o the_o supper_n or_o thanksgiving_a of_o alm_n of_o tribulation_n of_o doctrine_n as_o some_o of_o the_o ancient_n have_v expound_v it_o but_o it_o be_v take_v by_o set_v down_o a_o part_n for_o the_o whole_a for_o all_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v require_v for_o the_o sustentation_n of_o this_o life_n 9_o now_o whereas_o christ_n have_v express_v this_o petition_n by_o the_o name_n of_o bread_n be_v the_o moderate_v kind_n of_o sustenance_n that_o man_n use_v and_o not_o flesh_n or_o of_o dainty_a fair_a he_o do_v thereby_o commend_v unto_o we_o the_o care_n of_o thriftines_n and_o so_o brietie_n and_o teach_v we_o that_o we_o ought_v to_o be_v content_a with_o small_a and_o mean_a thing_n 10_o for_o although_o we_o may_v use_v meat_n not_o for_o necessity_n cause_v only_o see_v the_o lord_n do_v most_o liberal_o grant_v we_o many_o thing_n beside_o those_o that_o be_v necessary_a for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o this_o life_n yet_o be_v we_o to_o take_v heed_n least_o abuse_v the_o sweetness_n of_o these_o thing_n and_o forget_v that_o heavenly_a bread_n we_o give_v ourselves_o unto_o pleasure_n according_a unto_o the_o say_n of_o paul_n 13.14_o rom._n 13.14_o take_v no_o thought_n for_o the_o flesh_n to_o fulfil_v the_o lust_n thereof_o 11_o where_o he_o adjoin_v our_o he_o teach_v we_o that_o we_o ought_v to_o abstain_v from_o other_o man_n good_n and_o that_o we_o be_v in_o a_o sincere_a conscience_n to_o use_v the_o thing_n which_o god_n of_o his_o mercy_n bestow_v upon_o us._n 12_o now_o the_o bread_n be_v make_v we_o by_o his_o free-gift_n because_o neither_o our_o endeavour_n labour_n or_o hand_n as_o be_v say_v levit_fw-la 26.20_o can_v profit_v we_o any_o thing_n except_o the_o blessing_n of_o god_n be_v join_v with_o they_o yea_o and_o the_o word_n daily_o be_v condemn_v their_o folly_n who_o have_v use_v a_o immoderate_a kind_n of_o abstinence_n and_o hurtful_a unto_o the_o health_n of_o their_o body_n and_o become_v at_o the_o length_n to_o live_v so_o austerelie_o that_o they_o dream_v the_o same_o to_o be_v a_o kind_n of_o angelical_a perfection_n 17_o the_o word_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d give_v or_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d as_o luke_n have_v it_o do_v teach_v we_o that_o god_n be_v the_o author_n even_o of_o corporal_a blessing_n and_o that_o food_n and_o raiment_n and_o whatsoever_o do_v make_v that_o we_o eat_v our_o bread_n in_o quietness_n do_v come_v from_o his_o mere_a liberality_n they_o be_v to_o be_v reject_v therefore_o who_o do_v attribute_v any_o thing_n unto_o the_o merit_n of_o man_n which_o be_v lord_n prayer_n to_o be_v twofold_a so_o that_o the_o thing_n contain_v therein_o be_v show_v to_o be_v either_o corporal_a or_o spiritual_a it_o follow_v that_o have_v already_o deal_v with_o the_o corporal_a we_o now_o come_v to_o the_o handle_n of_o the_o spiritual_a thing_n 2_o now_o all_o the_o spiritual_a thing_n which_o belong_v unto_o our_o salvation_n and_o which_o christ_n teach_v we_o to_o seek_v at_o god_n hand_n be_v refer_v unto_o true_a repentance_n the_o which_o as_o it_o have_v two_o part_n so_o the_o same_o be_v contain_v in_o two_o petition_n 3_o true_a repentance_n consist_v first_o in_o that_o we_o bewail_v our_o sin_n and_o by_o faith_n desire_v they_o to_o be_v do_v away_o next_o that_o we_o be_v careful_a not_o to_o commit_v those_o thing_n again_o the_o former_a of_o these_o be_v contain_v in_o this_o five_o the_o latter_a in_o the_o next_o which_o be_v the_o last_o petition_n 4_o the_o necessity_n of_o this_o petition_n be_v no_o less_o than_o the_o aequitie_n of_o it_o for_o see_v all_o man_n by_o reason_n of_o their_o sin_n be_v so_o hateful_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n that_o they_o can_v have_v no_o hope_n of_o eternal_a life_n except_o the_o lord_n pardon_v they_o their_o offence_n sure_o there_o be_v none_o but_o may_v see_v what_o great_a necessity_n there_o be_v of_o this_o petition_n whosoever_o therefore_o desire_v to_o be_v 15_o unbridle_a contumacy_n be_v almost_o the_o most_o heinous_a sin_n against_o the_o church_n whether_o it_o be_v that_o he_o who_o be_v call_v refuse_v to_o appear_v or_o that_o be_v lawful_o admonish_v and_o convict_v he_o deny_v to_o confess_v his_o fault_n as_o it_o deserve_v 16_o after_o the_o lawful_a trial_n of_o the_o cause_n both_o the_o whole_a fact_n together_o with_o the_o circumstance_n be_v careful_o to_o be_v consider_v and_o also_o great_a regard_n be_v to_o be_v have_v of_o the_o sinner_n himself_o brief_o all_o thing_n be_v to_o be_v refer_v unto_o this_o end_n
