can_v find_v time_n and_o willingness_n to_o read_v and_o regard_v they_o and_o more_o particular_o at_o this_o they_o aim_v some_o of_o they_o that_o they_o may_v help_v forward_o and_o persuade_v ignorant_a profane_a bad_a person_n and_o hypocrite_n to_o distaste_n and_o wax_n weary_a of_o their_o evil_a and_o dangerous_a course_n for_o out_o of_o all_o these_o kind_n of_o wicked_a person_n do_v the_o lord_n daily_o call_v home_o some_o effectual_o where_o the_o gospel_n be_v sound_o plain_o and_o powerful_o preach_v and_o i_o will_v they_o shall_v know_v as_o much_o as_o i_o say_v to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v not_o harden_v their_o heart_n against_o god_n as_o they_o may_v possible_o and_o easy_o do_v while_o they_o see_v many_o safe_o and_o happy_o guide_v in_o their_o life_n and_o themselves_o nothing_o so_o but_o may_v hear_v his_o voice_n willing_o by_o repair_v to_o such_o wholesome_a sermon_n wherein_o the_o lord_n show_v himself_o willing_a to_o be_v reconcile_v unto_o they_o and_o wherein_o he_o thus_o speak_v o_o nation_n not_o worthy_a to_o be_v belove_v yet_o for_o all_o this_o if_o thou_o will_v return_v from_o thy_o iniquity_n i_o will_v receive_v thou_o gracious_o and_o what_o shall_v make_v they_o like_o glad_a as_o the_o hear_n of_o this_o as_o the_o gentile_n be_v when_o they_o hear_v first_o that_o god_n have_v grant_v unto_o they_o as_o well_o as_o to_o the_o jew_n the_o glad_a tiding_n of_o salvation_n even_o this_o sort_n of_o people_n may_v have_v no_o small_a encouragement_n by_o read_v these_o sermon_n and_o especial_o those_o among_o the_o rest_n which_o show_v how_o they_o that_o wander_v out_o of_o the_o right_a way_n may_v return_v and_o come_v home_o unto_o it_o again_o some_o of_o these_o sermon_n do_v aim_v at_o this_o to_o keep_v such_o as_o be_v draw_v out_o of_o their_o sinful_a course_n already_o to_o the_o certainty_n of_o salvation_n and_o to_o keep_v such_o steadfast_a in_o their_o faith_n hope_n and_o repentance_n and_o that_o they_o may_v not_o fall_v from_o they_o and_o other_o some_o of_o they_o serve_v to_o help_v forward_o all_o such_o so_o establish_v that_o they_o may_v grow_v in_o knowledge_n and_o grace_n and_o so_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n beseem_v the_o gospel_n and_o i_o will_v they_o may_v find_v no_o less_o favour_n and_o acceptation_n with_o the_o reader_n than_o i_o be_o sure_a they_o find_v with_o they_o who_o hear_v they_o preach_v i_o have_v show_v what_o the_o matter_n be_v that_o be_v handle_v in_o these_o sermon_n now_o i_o will_v show_v my_o reason_n why_o i_o have_v gather_v not_o one_o but_o sundry_a of_o the_o same_o argument_n together_o and_o set_v they_o forth_o so_o and_o after_o i_o will_v declare_v to_o thou_o in_o what_o order_n i_o place_v they_o in_o this_o treatise_n and_o why_o the_o first_o reason_n why_o i_o set_v down_o many_o in_o one_o book_n of_o the_o same_o argument_n and_o not_o of_o diverse_a be_v this_o for_o that_o this_o matter_n and_o doctrine_n of_o the_o conversion_n of_o a_o sinner_n be_v very_o hard_a to_o be_v perceive_v and_o discern_v of_o many_o hearer_n and_o especial_o so_o as_o they_o may_v clear_o see_v how_o to_o trace_v the_o way_n and_o go_v in_o it_o therefore_o that_o which_o can_v not_o so_o easy_o be_v perceive_v in_o one_o sermon_n i_o have_v think_v good_a to_o lay_v forth_o in_o many_o and_o out_o of_o diverse_a text_n of_o scripture_n which_o tend_v all_o to_o this_o end_n to_o wit_n to_o set_v down_o the_o conversion_n of_o a_o sinner_n to_o god_n do_v give_v more_o light_n in_o this_o matter_n and_o offer_v occasion_n of_o more_o thing_n about_o it_o than_o one_o alone_o can_v do_v these_o therefore_o be_v read_v with_o consideration_n may_v through_o god_n blessing_n make_v this_o point_n clear_a who_o how_o and_o when_o a_o man_n be_v convert_v and_o make_v he_o able_a to_o try_v whither_o he_o himself_o be_v so_o or_o no._n and_o if_o one_o be_v well_o ground_v in_o the_o doctrine_n that_o teach_v this_o and_o have_v the_o use_n of_o this_o he_o shall_v much_o the_o easy_o attain_v to_o further_a knowledge_n and_o consequent_o to_o the_o use_n thereof_o both_o which_o be_v mean_o and_o of_o few_o attain_v to_o see_v so_o few_o be_v well_o settle_v in_o the_o other_o the_o next_o reason_n of_o this_o my_o thus_o do_v be_v because_o this_o doctrine_n of_o the_o conversion_n of_o a_o sinner_n be_v but_o little_a and_o too_o seldom_o teach_v i_o mean_v all_o the_o part_n of_o it_o be_v seldom_o set_v down_o together_o especial_o at_o one_o time_n and_o in_o one_o sermon_n all_o which_o be_v meet_v to_o be_v do_v and_o oft_o the_o weak_a capacity_n slippery_a memory_n and_o many_o other_o defect_n in_o the_o most_o hearer_n require_v it_o and_o that_o they_o may_v see_v both_o how_o far_o they_o be_v from_o conversion_n while_o they_o be_v in_o their_o first_o condition_n of_o ignorance_n and_o unbelief_n and_o how_o they_o be_v to_o be_v bring_v to_o it_o and_o also_o how_o contrary_a their_o heart_n and_o life_n shall_v be_v to_o that_o they_o be_v before_o when_o they_o be_v convert_v these_o part_n of_o it_o be_v seldom_o handle_v altogether_o in_o preach_v though_o one_o sometime_o another_o of_o they_o another_o time_n be_v teach_v and_o deliver_v but_o it_o be_v a_o long_a time_n though_o the_o word_n be_v diligent_o preach_v as_o in_o few_o place_n it_o be_v before_o the_o most_o part_n of_o the_o hearer_n be_v able_a to_o lay_v one_o part_n and_o point_n of_o it_o with_o the_o other_o and_o to_o make_v the_o whole_a work_n of_o conversion_n of_o they_o all_o and_o to_o add_v the_o three_o reason_n see_v all_o that_o the_o people_n know_v and_o practice_v without_o conversion_n be_v nothing_o i_o mean_v either_o please_a to_o god_n or_o profitable_a to_o salvation_n unto_o themselves_o they_o may_v i_o deny_v not_o know_v many_o point_n and_o learn_v sundry_a instruction_n as_o concern_v the_o letter_n but_o to_o know_v so_o as_o they_o believe_v without_o which_o faith_n it_o be_v impossible_a for_o they_o to_o please_v god_n they_o can_v without_o conversion_n and_o to_o practice_v so_o in_o their_o life_n as_o that_o they_o may_v be_v say_v to_o repent_v and_o live_v holy_o without_o which_o they_o shall_v perish_v and_o never_o see_v the_o lord_n that_o be_v impossible_a without_o the_o same_o conversion_n for_o these_o cause_n and_o some_o other_o of_o which_o this_o be_v not_o the_o least_o that_o by_o experience_n i_o have_v see_v great_a fruit_n come_v of_o this_o doctrine_n diligent_o and_o much_o teach_v and_o little_a fruit_n where_o it_o have_v not_o be_v much_o in_o use_n for_o such_o cause_n i_o say_v i_o have_v of_o purpose_n set_v out_o many_o sermon_n of_o this_o argument_n desire_v that_o the_o people_n may_v be_v make_v better_o acquaint_v with_o it_o and_o that_o such_o preacher_n as_o think_v i_o worthy_a to_o be_v hear_v in_o this_o request_n will_v frame_v themselves_o to_o teach_v it_o in_o their_o own_o or_o in_o other_o place_n where_o they_o come_v as_o for_o they_o that_o fear_v they_o shall_v glut_v the_o people_n with_o beat_v thus_o upon_o the_o same_o thing_n as_o though_o they_o can_v preach_v no_o other_o i_o answer_v if_o we_o preach_v to_o the_o end_n the_o people_n may_v practice_v that_o which_o we_o teach_v and_o if_o the_o people_n also_o make_v use_n of_o that_o which_o they_o learn_v about_o this_o matter_n it_o shall_v be_v find_v so_o hard_a and_o precious_a to_o know_v themselves_o convert_v that_o they_o shall_v themselves_o desire_v that_o doctrine_n concern_v it_o to_o be_v teach_v again_o and_o again_o and_o namely_o of_o faith_n and_o repentance_n rather_o than_o to_o be_v weary_a of_o it_o for_o they_o shall_v see_v that_o when_o the_o same_o thing_n shall_v be_v teach_v out_o of_o new_a text_n even_o the_o old_a matter_n shall_v be_v in_o manner_n new_a to_o they_o now_o it_o follow_v to_o show_v why_o these_o text_n be_v set_v down_o in_o the_o order_n in_o which_o they_o be_v place_v in_o the_o treatise_n the_o first_o text_n be_v act_n 16.24_o and_o matth._n 24.12.13_o and_o the_o sermon_n on_o both_o tend_v direct_o to_o show_v how_o a_o sinner_n be_v convert_v except_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o sermon_n in_o the_o 16._o of_o the_o act_n which_o yet_o make_v a_o way_n to_o the_o doctrine_n of_o conversion_n in_o the_o story_n of_o the_o jailer_n and_o in_o those_o two_o sermon_n the_o reader_n may_v see_v the_o three_o part_n of_o conversion_n and_o diverse_a of_o
many_o other_o of_o like_a sort_n which_o where_o they_o be_v entertain_v can_v it_o be_v choose_v but_o that_o iniquity_n shall_v abound_v there_o so_o that_o this_o second_o sort_n do_v also_o fill_v the_o world_n with_o sin_n and_o see_v this_o kind_n of_o people_n be_v so_o common_a every_o where_o that_o they_o go_v for_o honest_a man_n and_o good_a christian_n and_o they_o walk_v uncontrolled_a and_o unpunished_a and_o thereby_o be_v the_o less_o note_v to_o be_v so_o evil_a as_o they_o be_v the_o lord_n do_v oft_o take_v the_o matter_n into_o his_o own_o hand_n to_o detect_v and_o bewray_v they_o so_o as_o either_o they_o fall_v to_o some_o sin_n for_o which_o the_o magistrate_n take_v they_o in_o hand_n such_o be_v achan_n 24.10_o and_o he_o that_o blaspheme_v in_o leviticus_fw-la who_o both_o be_v put_v to_o death_n and_o thrust_v out_o from_o among_o their_o neighbour_n or_o else_o god_n punish_v their_o sin_n himself_o direct_o by_o let_v they_o lay_v violent_a hand_n on_o themselves_o as_o do_v ahitophel_n the_o three_o sort_n who_o cause_n iniquity_n to_o abound_v sort_n be_v the_o hypocrite_n proper_o so_o call_v who_o profess_v religion_n and_o take_v the_o word_n of_o god_n into_o their_o mouth_n but_o they_o hate_v to_o be_v reform_v and_o bold_o affirm_v that_o they_o know_v god_n 7.21_o but_o in_o their_o deed_n they_o deny_v he_o and_o say_v lord_n lord_n but_o do_v nothing_o less_o then_o go_v about_o to_o fulfil_v the_o will_n of_o the_o lord_n these_o cause_n the_o holy_a word_n of_o god_n to_o be_v ill_o speak_v of_o which_o they_o hear_v and_o talk_v of_o more_o than_o the_o most_o of_o other_o do_v and_o will_v not_o stick_v to_o commit_v sin_n the_o more_o bold_o under_o a_o colour_n and_o cloak_n of_o holiness_n which_o behaviour_n of_o they_o be_v a_o practice_n and_o common_a course_n of_o live_v with_o they_o so_o that_o daily_o much_o evil_n be_v wrought_v by_o they_o all_o that_o list_n may_v see_v that_o these_o also_o as_o the_o two_o former_a sort_n that_o i_o say_v no_o more_o of_o they_o as_o be_v so_o well_o know_v do_v cause_n iniquity_n to_o abound_v sort_n the_o four_o sort_n be_v they_o who_o be_v not_o proper_o call_v hypocrite_n with_o the_o former_a although_o hypocrisy_n bear_v much_o sway_n in_o they_o but_o they_o in_o many_o thing_n do_v obey_v god_n and_o the_o course_n of_o their_o life_n be_v much_o more_o frame_v after_o god_n word_n than_o all_o the_o former_a if_o they_o be_v put_v together_o also_o they_o do_v more_o straight_o urge_v good_a order_n in_o other_o as_o their_o place_n will_v give_v they_o leave_v &_o yet_o in_o some_o thing_n they_o will_v not_o be_v bring_v within_o compass_n but_o be_v wed_v to_o their_o will_n and_o know_v that_o they_o do_v ill_a some_o sin_n they_o entertain_v and_o take_v liberty_n to_o commit_v be_v not_o willing_a to_o search_v their_o heart_n nor_o to_o look_v into_o their_o way_n and_o so_o they_o deal_v also_o about_o faith_n they_o hold_v a_o confuse_a persuasion_n and_o hope_n that_o they_o shall_v be_v save_v but_o they_o can_v be_v bring_v to_o try_v it_o and_o therefore_o they_o be_v destitute_a both_o of_o it_o and_o good_a life_n now_o these_o also_o howsoever_o they_o come_v near_o a_o godly_a life_n then_o any_o of_o the_o former_a and_o that_o by_o many_o degree_n yet_o because_o they_o in_o some_o thing_n give_v themselves_o leave_v to_o offend_v and_o dishonour_n god_n and_o do_v not_o fear_v the_o lord_n with_o all_o their_o heart_n and_o in_o one_o thing_n as_o well_o as_o in_o another_o seek_v to_o please_v he_o therefore_o god_n abhor_v their_o sacrifice_n of_o praise_n and_o prayer_n and_o curse_v the_o obedience_n which_o they_o offer_v unto_o he_o and_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n s_o james_n have_v to_o deal_v with_o such_o people_n say_v unto_o they_o whosoever_o shall_v keep_v the_o whole_a law_n 2.10.11_o and_o yet_o fail_v in_o one_o point_n he_o be_v guilty_a of_o all_o for_o he_o that_o say_v thou_o shall_v not_o commit_v adultery_n say_v also_o thou_o shall_v not_o kill_v now_o then_o though_o thou_o do_v none_o adultery_n yet_o if_o thou_o kill_v thou_o be_v a_o transgressor_n of_o the_o law_n and_o thus_o while_o they_o have_v all_o their_o do_n reckon_v against_o they_o for_o sin_n as_o it_o have_v be_v prove_v that_o the_o best_a of_o they_o be_v no_o better_o they_o come_v within_o the_o rank_n of_o they_o who_o multiply_v iniquity_n and_o cause_n sin_n to_o be_v increase_v object_n and_o if_o it_o be_v object_v that_o there_o be_v other_o sort_n of_o people_n beside_o these_o four_o who_o increase_n sin_n in_o the_o land_n answ_n i_o answer_v that_o some_o of_o god_n child_n by_o their_o infirmity_n be_v in_o show_n like_o the_o former_a 8.46_o yet_o because_o they_o will_v not_o sin_n and_o do_v break_v out_o rather_o of_o infirmity_n then_o wilful_o and_o witting_o to_o lie_v therein_o and_o do_v endeavour_n in_o one_o thing_n as_o well_o as_o another_o to_o please_v god_n therefore_o they_o be_v not_o say_v to_o increase_v sin_n who_o do_v faithful_o labour_v to_o suppress_v and_o keep_v it_o down_o both_o in_o themselves_o and_o other_o and_o such_o must_v the_o other_o four_o sort_n be_v point_n before_o the_o lord_n will_v count_v and_o take_v they_o for_o he_o thus_o it_o be_v manifest_a use_n who_o they_o be_v that_o fill_v the_o world_n with_o sin_n that_o none_o can_v be_v ignorant_a of_o it_o who_o be_v not_o wilful_o blind_a now_o it_o remain_v what_o these_o shall_v do_v that_o be_v before_o all_o thing_n that_o they_o repent_v and_o seek_v mercy_n and_o hold_v it_o by_o faith_n both_o which_o as_o they_o have_v sufficient_a cause_n to_o look_v after_o with_o all_o speed_n because_o without_o the_o one_o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o please_v god_n that_o be_v faith_n 11.6_o and_o without_o the_o other_o i_o mean_v repentance_n and_o amendment_n of_o life_n yet_o call_v to_o know_v that_o they_o be_v his_o 10.16_o who_o may_v by_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v add_v to_o his_o faithful_a one_o and_o in_o hope_n hereof_o they_o shall_v give_v all_o diligence_n to_o wait_v upon_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o ordinance_n for_o this_o blessing_n second_o the_o second_o be_v this_o that_o they_o search_v and_o try_v their_o way_n what_o be_v amiss_o in_o they_o though_o they_o shall_v never_o find_v out_o the_o hundred_o part_n of_o the_o sin_n that_o be_v in_o they_o and_o then_o consider_v the_o woe_n they_o be_v in_o thereby_o which_o if_o they_o can_v be_v persuade_v to_o do_v it_o be_v the_o most_o direct_a way_n to_o make_v they_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n both_z in_o embrace_v god_n promise_v of_o mercy_n which_o then_o belong_v prophet_n joel_n exhort_v the_o people_n unto_o say_v read_v your_o heart_n that_o be_v 2.13_o by_o search_v into_o they_o to_o see_v the_o foulnes_n of_o they_o and_o not_o your_o garment_n and_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n your_o god_n and_o jeremy_n in_o his_o lamentation_n do_v the_o same_o 3.40_o when_o he_o say_v search_v your_o way_n and_o turn_v again_o unto_o the_o lord_n and_o this_o be_v the_o only_a way_n for_o such_o as_o have_v bring_v themselves_o out_o of_o favour_n with_o god_n and_o draw_v down_o his_o wrath_n upon_o themselves_o by_o multiply_a iniquity_n to_o recover_v we_o have_v lay_v our_o foundation_n already_o we_o have_v believe_v and_o repent_v as_o our_o saviour_n will_v have_v it_o long_v ago_o and_o we_o will_v not_o alter_v our_o judgement_n and_o practice_n for_o any_o other_o there_o be_v three_o especial_a cause_n repentance_n why_o all_o shall_v haste_v to_o repent_v at_o the_o first_o hear_n so_o soon_o as_o they_o can_v be_v able_a to_o discern_v the_o authority_n and_o power_n of_o the_o word_n the_o first_o be_v because_o if_o we_o do_v it_o not_o at_o the_o first_o perhaps_o we_o shall_v never_o after_n and_o especial_o if_o any_o such_o of_o we_o be_v caviller_n and_o resister_n of_o it_o i_o deny_v not_o 20.5.6_o but_o the_o lord_n call_v at_o the_o nine_o and_o eleven_o hour_n which_o refuse_v to_o come_v at_o the_o seven_o but_o who_o be_v so_o desperate_a as_o to_o jeopard_v his_o happiness_n by_o so_o bold_a a_o adventure_n see_v the_o wicked_a and_o the_o deceiver_n wax_v worse_o and_o worse_o 3.13_o and_o he_o that_o be_v not_o fit_a to_o be_v urge_v to_o day_n be_v like_a to_o be_v less_o fit_a to_o morrow_n for_o who_o know_v that_o he_o shall_v have_v mind_n or_o mean_n or_o if_o he_o have_v both_o yet_o whither_o he_o shall_v have_v opportunity_n by_o health_n and_o freedom_n from_o pain_n and_o disease_n to_o use_v and_o enjoy_v they_o and_o although_o he_o do_v yet_o whether_o the_o lord_n will_v hear_v of_o the_o gospel_n be_v this_o that_o though_o we_o may_v be_v sure_a to_o do_v it_o at_o the_o last_o whereas_o yet_o in_o all_o experience_n late_o repent_v be_v dangerous_a what_o wise_a and_o such_o as_o follow_v the_o ancient_a pharisy_n these_o man_n not_o only_o do_v many_o civil_a good_a duty_n but_o they_o fast_o they_o pray_v they_o pay_v tithe_n of_o all_o they_o have_v they_o from_o offer_v violence_n to_o himself_o and_o his_o kindness_n towards_o he_o in_o overcome_v evil_a with_o good_a for_o whereas_o the_o jailor_n have_v show_v himself_o cruel_a towards_o he_o 12.21_o when_o he_o have_v give_v he_o no_o cause_n so_o to_o do_v and_o therefore_o look_v for_o no_o good_a will_n at_o his_o hand_n if_o possible_o he_o shall_v stand_v in_o never_o so_o great_a to_o their_o exceed_a good_a like_v and_o so_o as_o in_o no_o other_o they_o can_v find_v the_o like_a by_o many_o degree_n and_o yet_o this_o be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v of_o outward_a prosperity_n peace_n and_o welfare_n in_o riches_n honour_n and_o such_o like_a simple_o but_o conditional_o so_o far_o as_o they_o be_v good_a for_o god_n child_n whereof_o the_o godly_a for_o the_o most_o part_n be_v void_a and_o this_o hungry_a scramble_a world_n will_v keep_v they_o far_o enough_o off_o from_o they_o and_o yet_o this_o be_v no_o cause_n of_o grief_n to_o they_o neither_o god_n provide_v better_a for_o they_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v less_o wed_v to_o this_o world_n but_o god_n principal_o mean_v hereby_o that_o he_o will_v make_v their_o life_n please_v and_o comfortable_a to_o they_o with_o inward_a peace_n and_o gladness_n of_o heart_n which_o far_o surmount_v the_o other_o and_o yet_o as_o he_o see_v it_o expedient_a they_o shall_v have_v sufficiency_n profane_a speech_n of_o they_o which_o count_v the_o preach_n of_o christ_n and_o suffer_v for_o his_o name_n to_o be_v foolishness_n let_v saint_n paul_n put_v they_o to_o shame_v if_o not_o to_o cause_n notwithstanding_o all_o that_o may_v seem_v to_o make_v to_o the_o contrary_a to_o be_v merry_a and_o glad_a in_o heart_n it_o be_v not_o thus_o with_o the_o wicked_a joy_n for_o though_o they_o have_v peace_n with_o satan_n and_o peace_n with_o the_o corruption_n of_o their_o own_o heart_n yet_o want_v they_o the_o pardon_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o therefore_o be_v at_o war_n and_o enmity_n with_o god_n though_o they_o labour_v to_o forget_v the_o same_o and_o all_o that_o fearful_a wrath_n to_o come_v hang_v over_o their_o head_n and_o may_v fall_v they_o know_v not_o how_o soon_o upon_o they_o second_o they_o want_v that_o imputation_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n to_o cover_v their_o shame_n before_o god_n so_o that_o they_o can_v assure_v themselves_o that_o they_o have_v any_o part_n or_o portion_n in_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n that_o be_v to_o be_v reveal_v they_o can_v behold_v god_n as_o a_o love_a father_n as_o their_o redeemer_n in_o christ_n jesus_n they_o be_v whole_o possess_v with_o the_o spirit_n of_o fear_n and_o bondage_n that_o they_o can_v with_o boldness_n call_v upon_o god_n they_o have_v no_o promise_n nor_o assurance_n that_o god_n will_v hear_v they_o 9_o nay_o his_o ear_n be_v stop_v that_o he_o will_v not_o hear_v they_o his_o eye_n be_v turn_v from_o they_o that_o he_o will_v not_o regard_v and_o pity_v their_o misery_n he_o will_v have_v no_o communion_n no_o society_n company_n nor_o fellowship_n with_o they_o i_o cease_v to_o speak_v of_o those_o hellish_a terror_n of_o a_o accuse_a conscience_n that_o can_v but_o expel_v all_o joy_n and_o comfort_v forth_o so_o oft_o as_o their_o sleepy_a conscience_n be_v awaken_v and_o omit_v many_o other_o thing_n which_o may_v be_v add_v to_o this_o purpose_n by_o this_o little_a which_o have_v be_v say_v the_o truth_n of_o this_o point_n be_v clear_a that_o the_o righteous_a and_o they_o alone_a have_v both_o need_n and_o just_a cause_n wherefore_o to_o rejoice_v we_o will_v now_o come_v brief_o to_o some_o few_o use_n of_o this_o point_n and_o pass_v to_o the_o next_o in_o order_n use_v 1_o first_o therefore_o if_o the_o righteous_a only_o and_o the_o faithful_a have_v need_n of_o this_o joy_n duty_n as_o we_o have_v show_v it_o be_v not_o for_o the_o minister_n of_o god_n to_o comfort_n and_o cheer_v up_o any_o but_o these_o for_o we_o know_v the_o minister_n be_v a_o physician_n of_o the_o soul_n to_o cure_v the_o disease_n and_o a_o chirurgeon_n to_o cure_v the_o wound_n of_o the_o soul_n now_o it_o be_v not_o for_o a_o physician_n to_o prescribe_v to_o the_o whole_a but_o to_o the_o sick_a nor_o for_o the_o chirurgeon_n to_o plaster_n that_o which_o be_v sound_a but_o that_o which_o be_v hurt_v and_o wound_v the_o wicked_a be_v whole_a they_o be_v not_o sick_a or_o wound_v with_o sorrow_n no_o need_n therefore_o have_v they_o of_o the_o chirurgeon_n to_o bind_v up_o that_o which_o be_v break_v neither_o of_o the_o physician_n to_o restore_v health_n when_o none_o be_v lose_v but_o the_o righteous_a man_n and_o he_o that_o true_o fear_v god_n he_o be_v cast_v down_o with_o sorrow_n and_o have_v need_n therefore_o to_o be_v raise_v up_o when_o he_o be_v sick_a of_o sorrow_n and_o have_v need_n of_o heavenly_a cheer_v to_o restore_v he_o he_o be_v wound_v in_o soul_n every_o day_n and_o therefore_o have_v need_n to_o have_v the_o oil_n of_o gladness_n to_o be_v pour_v into_o his_o wound_n use_v 2_o again_o have_v the_o faithful_a and_o they_o only_o just_a cause_n to_o be_v merry_a let_v the_o bad_a learn_fw-mi then_o to_o magnify_v the_o life_n of_o the_o faithful_a as_o the_o most_o happy_a and_o bless_a life_n for_o this_o be_v certain_a he_o be_v most_o happy_a and_o most_o bless_a who_o have_v in_o deed_n and_o in_o truth_n great_a cause_n of_o joy_n and_o to_o reverence_v their_o gift_n that_o they_o may_v have_v a_o part_n in_o they_o use_v 3_o three_o have_v the_o
