this_o sin_n be_v a_o spiteful_a resistance_n of_o the_o gospel_n against_o the_o knowledge_n and_o light_n of_o conscience_n after_o the_o spirit_n have_v persuade_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o truth_n and_o benefit_n thereof_o and_o when_o a_o man_n sin_v out_o of_o malice_n and_o spite_n against_o god_n himself_o and_o christ_n jesus_n which_o be_v not_o every_o sin_n of_o presumption_n or_o against_o knowledge_n and_o conscience_n but_o such_o a_o kind_n of_o presumptuous_a offence_n in_o which_o true_a religion_n be_v renounce_v and_o that_o of_o set_a purpose_n and_o resolve_v malice_n against_o the_o very_a majesty_n of_o god_n himself_o and_o christ_n heb._n 10.29_o this_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v say_v to_o be_v unpardonable_a not_o that_o it_o exceed_v or_o surmount_v the_o greatness_n of_o the_o merit_n of_o christ_n but_o because_o he_o that_o commit_v it_o be_v punish_v with_o a_o final_a blindeness_n and_o without_o repentance_n there_o be_v grant_v no_o remission_n of_o sin_n neither_o be_v it_o unpardonable_a because_o it_o be_v great_a than_o god_n mercy_n or_o as_o cain_n think_v great_a than_o can_v be_v pardon_v gen._n 4.13_o but_o because_o the_o heart_n of_o he_o who_o commit_v it_o be_v uncapable_a of_o mercy_n as_o if_o a_o ventless_a vessel_n be_v cast_v into_o the_o sea_n it_o can_v take_v in_o one_o drop_n of_o water_n not_o because_o there_o be_v not_o water_n enough_o in_o the_o sea_n to_o fill_v it_o but_o because_o it_o have_v never_o a_o vent_n to_o receive_v water_n in_o every_o sin_n these_o four_o thing_n be_v to_o be_v consider_v viz._n 1._o the_o fault_n whereby_o god_n be_v offend_v in_o the_o action_n which_o be_v the_o root_n of_o all_o the_o rest_n 2._o the_o gild_n whereby_o the_o conscience_n be_v bind_v over_o unto_o punishment_n 3._o the_o punishment_n itself_o which_o be_v eternal_a death_n the_o wage_n of_o sin_n 4._o a_o certain_a stain_n or_o blot_n which_o it_o imprint_n and_o be_v subjection_n to_o all_o woe_n and_o misery_n yea_o and_o to_o death_n itself_o in_o this_o life_n and_o to_o death_n eternal_a after_o this_o life_n with_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n 16._o 3._o at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n when_o again_o to_o every_o of_o their_o body_n reunite_v to_o their_o soul_n the_o pain_n of_o hell_n to_o both_o shall_v be_v consummate_v the_o effect_n
