those_o thing_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v know_v and_o this_o be_v twofold_a simple_a or_o affect_v simple_a ignorance_n be_v when_o a_o man_n after_o diligence_n and_o good_a pain_n take_v still_o remain_v ignorant_a this_o ignorance_n will_v not_o excuse_v any_o man_n if_o it_o be_v of_o such_o thing_n as_o he_o be_v bind_v to_o know_v for_o it_o be_v say_v he_o that_o do_v not_o his_o master_n will_v by_o reason_n he_o know_v it_o not_o shall_v be_v beat_v with_o stripe_n though_o few_o and_o in_o this_o regard_n even_o the_o heathen_a which_o know_v not_o god_n be_v inexcusable_a his_o will_n and_o word_n but_o some_o may_v say_v then_o how_o can_v any_o man_n be_v save_v see_v every_o man_n be_v ignorant_a of_o many_o thing_n which_o he_o ought_v to_o know_v an._n if_o we_o punishment_n again_o the_o lord_n take_v more_o notice_n and_o inquire_v further_a into_o they_o then_o into_o other_o by_o reason_n that_o they_o exceed_v and_o be_v most_o eminent_a where_o they_o be_v commit_v three_o they_o call_v for_o present_a help_n to_o the_o afflict_a and_o wrong_v and_o consequent_o for_o speedy_a execution_n of_o vengeance_n upon_o the_o author_n and_o committer_n of_o they_o and_o last_o because_o god_n be_v wont_a to_o give_v â—are_a unto_o the_o cry_n of_o those_o that_o endure_v 〈◊〉_d so_o heavy_a measure_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o other_o and_o according_o to_o help_v they_o and_o reward_v the_o other_o with_o deserve_a punishment_n next_o unto_o these_o be_v sin_n of_o toleration_n lesser_a than_o the_o former_a which_o though_o in_o themselves_o they_o deserve_v death_n yet_o god_n in_o his_o mercy_n show_v his_o patience_n &_o long_a sufferance_n upon_o the_o committer_n thereof_o either_o defer_v the_o temporal_a punishment_n or_o pardon_v behalf_n of_o the_o church_n that_o he_o will_v in_o wrath_n remember_v mercy_n and_o paul_n 2._o say_v that_o the_o lord_n will_v not_o suffer_v we_o to_o be_v tempt_v above_o that_o we_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v but_o will_v give_v 13._o a_o issue_n with_o the_o temptation_n three_o put_v the_o case_n that_o god_n do_v not_o moderate_a our_o affliction_n but_o suffer_v they_o to_o remain_v upon_o cause_n of_o all_o for_o in_o thing_n wherein_o there_o be_v order_n there_o be_v always_o some_o first_o and_o sovereign_a cause_n and_o where_o there_o be_v no_o first_o nor_o last_o there_o the_o glass_n of_o the_o creature_n true_a it_o be_v that_o god_n be_v a_o spirit_n invisible_a that_o can_v be_v discern_v by_o the_o eye_n of_o flesh_n and_o blood_n yet_o he_o have_v not_o leave_v we_o without_o a_o mean_n whereby_o we_o may_v behold_v he_o for_o look_v as_o we_o be_v wont_n by_o degree_n to_o go_v from_o the_o picture_n to_o the_o painter_n and_o in_o the_o picture_n to_o behold_v of_o the_o wisdom_n power_n and_o providence_n of_o the_o creator_n of_o they_o all_o who_o be_v god_n himself_o and_o these_o be_v the_o principal_a proof_n of_o the_o godhead_n which_o be_v reveal_v in_o the_o book_n of_o nature_n sect._n 2._o the_o second_o ground_n of_o proof_n be_v take_v from_o the_o light_n of_o grace_n and_o it_o be_v that_o light_n grace_n which_o god_n afford_v to_o his_o church_n in_o the_o write_n of_o the_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n and_o this_o give_v a_o further_a confirmation_n than_o nature_n do_v for_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n be_v only_o a_o way_n or_o preparation_n to_o faith_n but_o this_o light_n serve_v to_o beget_v faith_n and_o cause_v we_o to_o believe_v there_o be_v a_o god_n now_o in_o the_o scripture_n of_o the_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n we_o shall_v see_v among_o the_o rest_n three_o distinct_a proof_n of_o this_o point_n first_o express_a testimony_n that_o do_v in_o plain_a term_n note_v unto_o we_o the_o godhead_n second_o express_a prophecy_n and_o revelation_n of_o thing_n to_o come_v even_o many_o hundred_o and_o thousand_o of_o year_n before_o they_o come_v to_o pass_v yea_o thing_n that_o be_v to_o come_v be_v foretell_v in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n so_o and_o in_o that_o very_a manner_n that_o they_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o time_n wherein_o they_o be_v to_o be_v fulfil_v now_o there_o be_v no_o man_n the_o world_n for_o as_o god_n for_o his_o part_n promise_v mercy_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n so_o we_o in_o baptism_n do_v make_v a_o vow_n and_o promise_v of_o obedience_n to_o he_o in_o
