charge_v it_o on_o we_o with_o such_o earnestness_n command_v it_o so_o positive_o and_o call_v upon_o we_o for_o performance_n so_o incessant_o and_o threaten_v its_o neglect_n so_o terrible_o throughout_o the_o scripture_n it_o must_v needs_o be_v acceptable_a because_o we_o be_v thereby_o kind_a to_o he_o himself_o in_o relieve_v his_o friend_n for_o such_o be_v his_o goodness_n that_o he_o have_v make_v the_o cause_n of_o those_o that_o want_v his_o own_o and_o reckon_v up_o the_o good_a we_o do_v to_o they_o do_v to_o himself_o and_o will_v according_o reward_v it_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v acceptable_a because_o we_o thereby_o exercise_v a_o act_n of_o faith_n and_o confidence_n in_o his_o truth_n and_o goodness_n we_o give_v he_o something_o sure_a and_o in_o possession_n for_o the_o reversion_n of_o reward_n we_o know_v at_o present_a little_a of_o we_o give_v because_o he_o bid_v and_o trust_v because_o he_o say_v that_o he_o be_v faithful_a and_o the_o scripture_n be_v just_a in_o own_v he_o the_o lord_n and_o true_a proprietor_n of_o all_o we_o have_v and_o pay_v this_o acknowledgement_n and_o by_o show_v ourselves_o grateful_a and_o in_o some_o measure_n worthy_a of_o his_o mercy_n and_o to_o conclude_v in_o a_o great_a many_o other_o way_n not_o needful_a to_o recount_v at_o present_a but_o if_o the_o work_n of_o charity_n be_v thus_o excellent_a and_o sweet_a thus_o acceptable_a both_o to_o god_n and_o man_n when_o exercise_v on_o those_o that_o only_a want_n they_o be_v yet_o more_o excellent_a and_o sweet_a and_o more_o agreeable_a when_o exercise_v on_o those_o that_o want_n and_o that_o deserve_v they_o at_o the_o same_o time_n it_o be_v a_o great_a improvement_n of_o the_o argument_n when_o the_o administration_n of_o this_o service_n supply_v the_o want_n of_o the_o saint_n not_o but_o that_o to_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o charity_n be_v strict_o speak_v to_o deserve_v it_o and_o be_v the_o first_o and_o most_o immediate_a cause_n and_o motive_n both_o of_o give_v and_o receive_v so_o that_o he_o that_o ask_v and_o receive_v upon_o presumption_n of_o his_o want_n and_o yet_o want_v not_o be_v at_o the_o best_a but_o a_o deceiver_n and_o a_o cheat_n and_o he_o that_o give_v without_o presumption_n of_o that_o want_n may_v be_v munificent_a or_o liberal_a good_a nature_a vain_a or_o whatever_o else_o he_o please_v but_o not_o charitable_a but_o when_o both_o want_n and_o merit_n meet_v the_o practice_n of_o this_o grace_n be_v much_o more_o satisfactory_a to_o one_o self_n and_o more_o agreeable_a to_o god_n and_o man._n it_o be_v a_o complicate_v act_n of_o goodness_n then_o it_o be_v approve_v and_o reward_v virtue_n encourage_v religion_n industry_n and_o honesty_n and_o whatever_o else_o may_v be_v the_o merit_n of_o the_o receiver_n as_o well_o as_o pity_v and_o relieve_v his_o distress_n let_v we_o try_v say_v one_o of_o old_a with_o admirable_a reason_n how_o to_o make_v our_o benefit_n most_o last_a and_o most_o serviceable_a and_o such_o as_o may_v never_o turn_v to_o evil_a and_o that_o will_v be_v by_o careful_o and_o wise_o choose_v where_o to_o place_v they_o most_o deserve_o i_o will_v never_o give_v money_n to_o a_o man_n qui_fw-la adulterae_fw-la numerabit_fw-la i_o will_v be_v so_o far_o accessary_a to_o his_o lewd_a act_n or_o purpose_n i_o will_v if_o i_o can_v reclaim_v he_o but_o if_o not_o i_o do_v intend_v to_o encourage_v or_o promote_v his_o wickedness_n with_o a_o great_a deal_n more_o to_o good_a purpose_n and_o agreeable_a to_o the_o voice_n of_o right_a reason_n which_o advise_v we_o to_o associate_v prudence_n with_o beneficence_n and_o whilst_o we_o be_v succour_v human_a nature_n to_o discountenance_v vice_n and_o immorality_n withal_o to_o encourage_v virtue_n and_o religion_n and_o serve_v the_o interest_n of_o the_o commonwealth_n and_o to_o tie_v this_o duty_n close_o it_o be_v now_o become_v a_o obligation_n of_o reveal_v as_o well_o as_o natural_a religion_n and_o we_o must_v as_o we_o have_v opportunity_n do_v good_a to_o all_o man_n but_o especial_o to_o those_o that_o be_v of_o the_o household_n of_o faith._n and_o among_o other_o duty_n sum_v up_o in_o rom._n 12._o one_o be_v distribute_v to_o the_o necessity_n of_o the_o saint_n and_o st._n paul_n make_v a_o journey_n on_o purpose_n to_o
