to_o be_v the_o universal_a pastor_n of_o whole_a dukedom_n and_o kingdom_n under_o who_o all_o other_o pastor_n be_v as_o curate_n etc._n etc._n and_o yet_o for_o all_o this_o be_v such_o as_o stand_v and_o be_v support_v only_o by_o humane_a tradition_n and_o ceremony_n such_o as_o a_o civil_a magistrate_n may_v without_o sin_n put_v out_o of_o the_o church_n and_o such_o as_o the_o true_a church_n of_o god_n may_v renounce_v and_o yet_o continue_v the_o true_a church_n as_o antichristian_a usurper_n and_o spiritual_a tyrant_n i_o say_v all_o such_o officer_n and_o ruler_n exercise_v a_o usurp_a authority_n in_o the_o church_n but_o our_o archbishop_n and_o bishop_n be_v such_o ruler_n and_o officer_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a ergo_fw-la they_o execute_v a_o usurp_a power_n over_o the_o church_n the_o proposition_n may_v easy_o be_v justify_v for_o if_o inferior_a officer_n viz._n pastor_n of_o particular_a congregation_n have_v have_v and_o may_v have_v firm_a continuance_n in_o the_o church_n without_o these_o humane_a devise_n and_o invention_n if_o the_o magistrate_n can_v without_o sin_n put_v they_o out_o of_o the_o church_n and_o if_o those_o can_v be_v no_o true_a church_n that_o renounce_v to_o have_v particular_a pastor_n and_o minister_n over_o they_o it_o must_v much_o more_o hold_v in_o such_o church-officer_n and_o ruler_n as_o these_o be_v if_o their_o authority_n be_v lawful_a and_o good_a for_o while_o the_o apostle_n live_v they_o need_v not_o any_o humane_a tradition_n and_o device_n to_o support_v their_o authority_n the_o magistrate_n that_o seek_v to_o put_v they_o down_o sin_v with_o a_o high_a hand_n and_o that_o be_v no_o church_n that_o renounce_v and_o disclaim_v their_o office_n authority_n and_o jurisdiction_n the_o assumption_n he_o have_v power_n to_o remove_v out_o of_o the_o church_n all_o scandalous_a schismatical_a and_o heretical_a teacher_n and_o by_o all_o due_a severity_n of_o law_n to_o repress_v they_o 13._o we_o hold_v that_o all_o ecclesiastical_a law_n make_v by_o the_o king_n not_o repugnant_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n do_v in_o some_o sort_n bind_v the_o conscience_n of_o his_o subject_n and_o that_o no_o subject_a aught_o to_o refuse_v obedience_n to_o any_o such_o law_n 14._o we_o hold_v that_o the_o king_n only_o have_v power_n within_o his_o dominion_n to_o convene_v synod_n or_o general_a assembly_n of_o minister_n and_o by_o his_o authority_n royal_a to_o ratify_v and_o give_v life_n and_o strength_n to_o their_o canon_n and_o constitution_n without_o who_o ratification_n no_o man_n can_v force_v any_o subject_n to_o yield_v any_o obedience_n unto_o the_o same_o 15._o we_o hold_v that_o though_o the_o king_n may_v force_v the_o church_n to_o be_v subject_a and_o obedient_a unto_o he_o and_o to_o be_v member_n of_o the_o commonwealth_n yet_o that_o the_o church_n several_o or_o joint_o have_v no_o power_n to_o force_v he_o or_o any_o subject_a against_o their_o will_n to_o
