advice_n from_o the_o church_fw-mi and_o here_o give_v instance_n in_o those_o particular_n complain_v of_o by_o we_o so_o you_o shall_v never_o do_v any_o thing_n that_o may_v prejudice_v this_o just_a interest_n and_o liberty_n of_o the_o church_fw-mi of_o scotland_n as_o we_o shall_v not_o call_v to_o mind_v all_o that_o be_v past_a so_o that_o which_o be_v here_o express_v by_o your_o answer_v that_o the_o parliament_n conceive_v the_o same_o way_n be_v now_o take_v that_o have_v be_v former_o and_o in_o regard_n the_o parliament_n of_o england_n have_v lay_v aside_o these_o proposition_n concern_v religion_n and_o the_o joint_a interest_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o scotland_n we_o be_v necessitate_v to_o make_v our_o first_o application_n to_o they_o who_o must_v first_o &_o so_o considerable_a member_n of_o parliament_n who_o have_v give_v most_o real_a and_o constant_a testimony_n of_o their_o integrity_n in_o this_o cause_n to_o dissent_v from_o and_o protest_v against_o your_o lordship_n proceed_v to_o determine_v a_o business_n of_o this_o nature_n without_o consultation_n with_o we_o and_o our_o consent_n have_v therein_o for_o our_o part_n the_o trust_v mention_v in_o the_o narrative_a part_n neither_o shall_v we_o be_v curious_a after_o the_o reason_n why_o in_o so_o large_a a_o declaration_n concern_v public_a danger_n duty_n and_o remedy_n there_o be_v no_o expression_n for_o preservation_n of_o monarchical_a government_n in_o his_o majesty_n posterity_n as_o well_o as_o in_o his_o own_o person_n to_o the_o preface_n we_o shall_v only_o say_v cloud_n of_o malignancy_n be_v then_o sufficient_o dissipate_v or_o at_o least_o that_o the_o covenant_n be_v sufficient_o perform_v in_o bring_v delinquent_n to_o such_o condign_a punishment_n as_o the_o respective_a parliament_n think_v fit_a we_o be_v sorry_a that_o we_o have_v cause_n to_o remember_v what_o forbearance_n yea_o favour_n and_o friendship_n have_v be_v grant_v to_o many_o such_o how_o cautious_o they_o speak_v of_o the_o breach_n of_o covenant_n in_o england_n the_o word_n be_v these_o we_o will_v not_o be_v understand_v as_o if_o we_o mean_v either_o to_o justify_v this_o connivance_n at_o heresy_n and_o schism_n and_o other_o thing_n contrary_a to_o the_o covenant_n but_o it_o can_v as_o little_o be_v doubt_v of_o that_o there_o be_v dangerous_a breach_n of_o covenant_n by_o malignant_n both_o at_o home_n and_o abroad_o and_o your_o lordship_n know_v true_a zeal_n against_o breach_n of_o covenant_n
or_o any_o thing_n else_o in_o the_o declaration_n his_o majesty_n may_v be_v restore_v to_o the_o exercise_n of_o his_o royal_a power_n before_o security_n have_v from_o he_o for_o religion_n as_o we_o desire_v the_o next_o qualification_n add_v by_o your_o lordship_n immediate_o be_v in_o these_o word_n have_v find_v his_o late_a concession_n and_o offer_n concern_v religion_n not_o satisfactory_a where_o first_o the_o word_n have_v find_v may_v be_v various_o understand_v either_o when_o his_o majesty_n shall_v have_v find_v or_o when_o your_o lordship_n shall_v have_v find_v and_o offer_v concern_v religion_n as_o they_o have_v be_v by_o the_o church_n so_o may_v be_v by_o the_o parliament_n declare_v unsatisfactory_a only_o your_o lordship_n be_v please_v here_o to_o make_v a_o light_a transition_n over_o that_o which_o we_o conceive_v to_o be_v unto_o we_o a_o grave_a subject_n of_o a_o solemn_a declaration_n the_o three_o qualification_n in_o the_o assurance_n and_o covenant_n which_o desire_n be_v so_o far_o unsatisfied_a that_o for_o our_o interest_n in_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o oath_n and_o in_o the_o ground_n of_o the_o undertake_n we_o do_v not_o
