have_v heretofore_o be_v make_v for_o the_o encouragement_n indemnity_n and_o save_v harmless_a of_o such_o person_n as_o have_v in_o any_o sort_n either_o by_o sea_n or_o land_n engaged_n or_o act_v or_o command_v to_o be_v do_v any_o matter_n or_o thing_n whatsoever_o by_o authority_n or_o for_o the_o service_n or_o benefit_n of_o the_o parliament_n and_o committee_n have_v be_v appoint_v to_o take_v care_n therein_o and_o that_o justice_n shall_v be_v do_v according_o the_o power_n of_o which_o committee_n be_v determine_v and_o so_o no_o course_n settle_v for_o party_n grieve_v his_o take_v in_o all_o court_n and_o proceed_n of_o justice_n and_o else_o where_o most_o beneficial_a and_o available_a to_o all_o and_o singular_a the_o person_n that_o have_v so_o act_v or_o do_v by_o authority_n or_o for_o the_o service_n or_o benefit_n of_o the_o parliament_n and_o if_o upon_o any_o trial_n or_o proceed_n in_o any_o court_n of_o justice_n it_o shall_v appear_v unto_o the_o judge_n or_o judge_n before_o who_o such_o trial_n or_o proceed_v shall_v be_v have_v or_o make_v that_o the_o party_n that_o have_v so_o act_v by_o the_o authority_n or_o for_o the_o service_n or_o benefit_n of_o the_o parliament_n have_v not_o have_v or_o can_v have_v such_o full_a and_o just_a relief_n therein_o as_o by_o the_o say_a act_n ordinance_n or_o order_n of_o parliament_n be_v intend_v or_o provide_v then_o such_o judge_n or_o judge_n shall_v and_o be_v hereby_o require_v to_o make_v certificate_n thereof_o to_o the_o barous_a of_o the_o exchequer_n upon_o which_o certificate_n the_o say_a baron_n or_o any_o two_o of_o they_o shall_v have_v authority_n and_o be_v hereby_o empower_v authorize_v and_o require_v upon_o such_o certificate_n and_o complaint_n of_o the_o party_n grieve_v to_o proceed_v and_o do_v therein_o to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n and_o they_o have_v hereby_o give_v unto_o they_o the_o same_o and_o like_a power_n authority_n jurisdiction_n and_o course_n of_o proceed_v in_o all_o cause_n for_o relief_n of_o such_o party_n or_o party_n grieve_v in_o the_o premise_n as_o any_o committee_n or_o commissioner_n of_o or_o for_o indemptnity_n appoint_v by_o authority_n of_o parliament_n have_v or_o lawful_o may_v have_v exercise_v and_o be_v it_o further_o ordain_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o where_o any_o person_n that_o aught_o to_o have_v be_v indemnify_v by_o the_o true_a meaning_n of_o the_o say_a act_n and_o order_n of_o indemnity_n have_v any_o judgement_n or_o verdict_n already_o obtain_v against_o he_o at_o law_n for_o any_o matter_n or_o thing_n for_o which_o he_o ought_v so_o to_o have_v be_v indemnify_v by_o reason_n whereof_o he_o be_v disable_v to_o plead_v his_o matter_n of_o indemnity_n before_o the_o say_a judge_n before_o mention_v that_o then_o in_o every_o such_o case_n upon_o complaint_n exhibit_v before_o the_o say_a baron_n of_o the_o exchequer_n set_v forth_o his_o case_n and_o allege_v such_o matter_n for_o his_o indemnity_n as_o that_o court_n shall_v judge_v sufficient_a and_o also_o give_v in_o such_o security_n as_o the_o say_a baron_n shall_v approve_v of_o to_o pay_v cost_v unto_o the_o party_n molest_v or_o draw_v so_o in_o question_n before_o the_o say_a baron_n in_o case_n he_o shall_v not_o prove_v the_o suggestion_n of_o his_o say_a complaint_n the_o say_a baron_n in_o such_o special_a case_n also_o may_v proceed_v to_o do_v therein_o for_o indempnify_v the_o say_a party_n grieve_v as_o hereby_o they_o be_v authorize_v to_o do_v upon_o the_o certificate_n of_o the_o judge_n before_o mention_v provide_v always_o that_o nothing_o in_o this_o ordinance_n be_v construe_v or_o understand_v to_o revive_v the_o power_n of_o the_o say_a committee_n in_o any_o the_o former_a ordinance_n or_o act_n of_o parliament_n name_v so_o as_o to_o enable_v the_o say_a committee_n to_o intermeddle_v in_o the_o execution_n of_o any_o the_o say_a act_n or_o ordinance_n thursday_n march_v 23._o 1653._o order_v by_o his_o highness_n the_o lord_n protector_n and_o his_o council_n that_o this_o ordinance_n be_v forthwith_o print_v and_o
