christ_n have_v ordain_v and_o when_o that_o be_v once_o find_v then_o to_o conclude_v from_o thence_o the_o righteousness_n and_o peaceableness_n of_o the_o same_o rather_o then_o on_o the_o other_o side_n to_o think_v with_o ourselves_o what_o government_n to_o natural_a reason_n seem_v righteous_a and_o peaceable_a and_o thence_o to_o gather_v what_o be_v ordain_v or_o not_o ordain_v of_o christ_n yourself_o have_v a_o say_v p._n 9_o that_o law_n mere_o positive_a be_v therefore_o law_n because_o command_v and_o why_o may_v not_o we_o say_v in_o like_o sort_n this_o or_o that_o form_n of_o church_n government_n be_v therefore_o peaceable_a and_o righteous_a because_o ordain_v sith_o this_o or_o that_o form_n be_v by_o the_o positive_a law_n of_o christ_n but_o say_v you_o how_o can_v that_o government_n be_v peaceable_a and_o righteous_a where_o party_n be_v make_v sole_a judge_n suppose_v the_o great_a number_n of_o member_n in_o a_o congregation_n be_v against_o the_o pastor_n and_o elder_n pag._n 7._o answ._n it_o be_v not_o unrighteous_a nor_o unpeaceable_a in_o itself_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v judge_n who_o the_o god_n of_o all_o righteousness_n and_o peace_n have_v appoint_v so_o to_o be_v nor_o be_v it_o reasonable_a that_o they_o shall_v be_v thrust_v out_o of_o the_o office_n whereto_o god_n have_v appoint_v they_o under_o this_o pretence_n that_o they_o be_v party_n for_o if_o good_a care_n be_v not_o take_v how_o far_o we_o give_v way_n to_o such_o alledgement_n we_o may_v lay_v a_o foundation_n for_o weaken_v if_o not_o utter_o evacuate_v the_o authority_n of_o all_o supreme_a judicatory_n whatsoever_o for_o as_o you_o allege_v against_o the_o congregation_n that_o they_o may_v be_v divide_v among_o themselves_o and_o then_o if_o matter_n be_v end_v there_o party_n be_v make_v judge_n viz._n the_o major_a part_n against_o the_o minor_a so_o the_o very_a same_o may_v be_v say_v of_o a_o synod_n where_o controversy_n may_v arise_v as_o well_o as_o in_o a_o congregation_n and_o if_o congregation_n must_v not_o determine_v matter_n arise_v within_o themselves_o because_o party_n must_v not_o be_v judge_n then_o by_o the_o same_o reason_n matter_n arise_v in_o a_o synod_n must_v not_o be_v determine_v by_o a_o synod_n and_o so_o the_o synod_n unto_o who_o you_o will_v have_v matter_n carry_v from_o the_o congregation_n must_v be_v no_o more_o independent_a than_o the_o congregation_n itself_o from_o who_o they_o be_v carry_v yea_o by_o this_o reason_n that_o supreme_a synedrion_fw-mi among_o the_o jew_n must_v have_v be_v dependent_a also_o for_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o sometime_o that_o synedrion_n be_v divide_v into_o part_n among_o themselves_o as_o in_o that_o famous_a instance_n act._n 23._o where_o the_o division_n of_o the_o council_n
