it_o they_o in_o the_o six_o day_n and_o not_o upon_o the_o lord_n day_n 4_o objection_n he_o that_o be_v bind_v say_v the_o servant_n and_o he_o that_o live_v at_o the_o commandment_n of_o another_o must_v obey_v if_o we_o do_v not_o we_o shall_v lose_v our_o master_n good_a will_n and_o get_v their_o displeasure_n answer_n if_o thou_o be_v a_o servant_n fear_v god_n and_o desirous_a in_o truth_n than_o thou_o must_v obey_v thy_o master_n if_o not_o thou_o must_v take_v another_o course_n but_o thou_o will_v say_v perhaps_o that_o thou_o see_v no_o necessity_n in_o that_o thou_o be_v command_v what_o then_o there_o may_v be_v a_o necessity_n apparent_a to_o thy_o master_n and_o not_o to_o thou_o neither_o be_v he_o bind_v to_o give_v thou_o a_o account_n of_o all_o his_o purpose_n and_o business_n as_o for_o example_n thy_o master_n command_v thou_o to_o carry_v a_o letter_n for_o he_o or_o to_o fetch_v home_o and_o make_v ready_a his_o horse_n or_o to_o go_v with_o he_o abroad_o or_o the_o like_a thou_o not_o know_v the_o matter_n nor_o occasion_n of_o those_o thy_o master_n business_n be_v bind_v to_o obey_v he_o not_o demand_v a_o reason_n of_o his_o so_o do_v but_o conceive_v both_o in_o reverence_n and_o charity_n of_o thy_o master_n do_n that_o if_o he_o see_v not_o some_o great_a necessity_n in_o the_o matter_n he_o will_v not_o so_o employ_v thou_o for_o charity_n do_v ever_o judge_v the_o best_a where_o it_o know_v no_o evil_a it_o think_v no_o evil_a 1_o cor._n 13.5_o but_o if_o thou_o be_v assure_v that_o it_o be_v no_o work_n of_o necessity_n which_o thy_o master_n will_v set_v thou_o about_o when_o thou_o shall_v rest_v unto_o the_o lord_n but_o that_o it_o come_v only_o of_o a_o greedy_a desire_n to_o get_v the_o world_n etc._n etc._n whereof_o other_o can_v judge_v as_o well_o as_o thou_o than_o thy_o course_n must_v be_v this_o 1_o in_o all_o dutiful_a and_o reverend_a sort_n on_o god_n behalf_n expostulate_v and_o reason_v the_o matter_n with_o thy_o master_n and_o entreat_v he_o not_o to_o compel_v thou_o against_o thy_o conscience_n to_o violate_v the_o lord_n commandment_n but_o to_o give_v thou_o leave_v to_o keep_v the_o holy_a rest_n as_o the_o israelite_n crave_v leave_v of_o king_n pharaoh_n to_o go_v and_o serve_v the_o lord_n and_o sure_o if_o thy_o master_n have_v any_o fear_n of_o god_n at_o all_o in_o he_o or_o any_o spark_n of_o desire_n to_o please_v the_o lord_n and_o have_v not_o sear_v his_o conscience_n as_o it_o be_v with_o a_o hot_a iron_n or_o sell_v himself_o to_o work_v wickedness_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n he_o can_v choose_v but_o grant_v thou_o thy_o request_n 2_o if_o thy_o master_n be_v so_o hard_o heart_v and_o void_a of_o religion_n that_o he_o will_v not_o hear_v thou_o in_o thy_o humble_a suit_n then_o solicit_v the_o magistrate_n and_o the_o minister_n and_o make_v they_o judge_n of_o thy_o cause_n and_o see_v if_o by_o their_o mean_n thy_o may_v ermay_v be_v persuade_v to_o let_v thou_o serve_v the_o lord_n in_o keep_v the_o holy_a rest_n and_o cease_v not_o thou_o all_o this_o while_n to_o pray_v unto_o god_n that_o he_o will_v by_o his_o spirit_n move_v and_o turn_v thy_o master_n mind_n 3_o if_o the_o magistrate_n be_v of_o thy_o master_n mind_n as_o many_o be_v that_o have_v as_o little_a religion_n as_o who_o have_v least_o so_o that_o thou_o can_v not_o be_v relieve_v at_o his_o hand_n than_o i_o think_v thou_o ought_v to_o venture_v thy_o master_n displeasure_n or_o else_o change_v thy_o service_n know_v that_o it_o be_v better_a to_o obey_v f_o god_n than_o man_n act_n 4.19_o therefore_o see_v as_o god_n command_v thou_o to_o keep_v the_o holy_a rest_n and_o thy_o master_n command_v thou_o to_o break_v it_o thou_o must_v in_o this_o case_n obey_v god_n rather_o than_o thy_o master_n for_o the_o keep_n and_o sanctify_v of_o the_o lord_n sabbaoth_o be_v no_o matter_n of_o circumstance_n and_o ceremony_n as_o some_o will_v have_v it_o and_o therefore_o to_o give_v place_n unto_o the_o obedience_n of_o master_n be_v a_o matter_n of_o substance_n in_o the_o five_o commandment_n but_o it_o be_v also_o a_o matter_n of_o the_o substance_n of_o god_n worship_n and_o service_n unto_o which_o both_o thou_o and_o thy_o master_n will_n must_v give_v place_n and_o in_o this_o case_n the_o godly_a mind_a servant_n be_v not_o so_o much_o to_o stand_v upon_o term_n of_o lose_v or_o enjoy_v his_o master_n good_a will_n or_o service_n but_o rather_o to_o fear_v the_o lord_n who_o service_n be_v the_o best_a service_n and_o freedom_n itself_o and_o who_o displeasure_n be_v more_o intolerable_a than_o the_o weight_n of_o all_o the_o world_n neither_o will_v he_o ever_o forsake_v those_o that_o trust_v in_o he_o reply_n but_o where_o shall_v i_o become_v if_o my_o master_n turn_v i_o out_o of_o service_n answer_n comfort_v thyself_o with_o the_o answer_n of_o abraham_n to_o his_o son_n isaac_n 22.8_o gen._n 22.8_o
