james_n speak_v simple_o without_o distinction_n limitation_n or_o exception_n and_o the_o effect_n of_o his_o reason_n be_v this_o no_o man_n at_o all_o must_v slander_v his_o brother_n because_o no_o man_n must_v be_v judge_n of_o the_o law_n and_o no_o man_n can_v be_v judge_n of_o the_o law_n because_o no_o man_n can_v be_v a_o lawgiver_n to_o save_v or_o destroy_v now_o then_o where_o be_v those_o person_n that_o shall_v make_v law_n to_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n and_o bind_v they_o unto_o punishment_n of_o mortal_a sin_n consider_v that_o god_n alone_o be_v the_o save_n and_o destroy_v dishonour_v but_o no_o man_n can_v prescribe_v rule_n of_o god_n worship_n and_o humane_a law_n as_o they_o be_v humane_a law_n appoint_v not_o the_o service_n of_o god_n esa._n 29._o 13._o their_o fear_n towards_o i_o be_v teach_v by_o the_o precept_n of_o man_n mat._n 15.6_o they_o worship_v i_o in_o vain_a teach_v doctrine_n which_o be_v the_o commandment_n of_o man_n papist_n here_o make_v against_o god_n word_n in_o some_o politic_a regard_n to_o make_v distinction_n of_o meat_n and_o drink_v and_o time_n yet_o paul_n call_v these_o thing_n doctrine_n of_o devil_n because_o they_o be_v command_v as_o thing_n wherein_o god_n shall_v be_v worship_v arg._n 3._o god_n have_v now_o in_o the_o new_a testament_n give_v a_o liberty_n to_o the_o conscience_n whereby_o it_o be_v free_v from_o all_o law_n of_o his_o own_o whatsoever_o except_v such_o law_n and_o doctrine_n as_o be_v necessary_a to_o salvation_n col._n 2._o 10._o if_o you_o be_v dead_a with_o christ_n you_o be_v free_a from_o the_o element_n of_o the_o world_n gal._n 5.1_o stand_v you_o in_o the_o liberty_n wherewith_o christ_n have_v free_v you_o and_o be_v not_o again_o entangle_v with_o the_o yoke_n of_o bind_v conscience_n command_v conscience_n forâ—_n the_o bond_n be_v make_v by_o a_o commandment_n urge_v conscience_n to_o do_v his_o duty_n which_o be_v to_o accuse_v or_o excuse_v for_o evil_a or_o well_o do_v now_o god_n law_n command_v conscience_n in_o as_o much_o as_o they_o be_v spiritual_a command_a body_n and_o spirit_n with_o all_o the_o thought_n will_n affection_n desire_n and_o possible_a for_o our_o governor_n by_o law_n to_o command_v man_n thought_n and_o affection_n than_o also_o may_v they_o command_v conscience_n but_o the_o first_o be_v not_o possible_a for_o their_o law_n can_v reach_v no_o further_o than_o the_o outward_a man_n that_o be_v to_z body_z and_o good_n with_o the_o speech_n and_o deed_n thereof_o and_o the_o end_n of_o they_o all_o be_v not_o to_o maintain_v spiritual_a peace_n of_o conscience_n which_o be_v between_o man_n and_o god_n but_o only_o that_o external_a and_o civil_a peace_n which_o be_v between_o man_n and_o man_n and_o it_o be_v not_o meet_v that_o man_n shall_v command_v conscience_n which_o can_v see_v conscience_n and_o judge_n of_o all_o her_o action_n which_o appear_v not_o outward_o and_o whereof_o there_o be_v no_o witness_n but_o god_n and_o the_o conscience_n of_o the_o doer_n last_o man_n be_v not_o fit_v commander_n of_o conscience_n because_o they_o be_v no_o lord_n of_o it_o but_o god_n himself_o alone_o man_n that_o have_v take_v his_o oath_n to_o keep_v all_o the_o law_n or_o order_n of_o any_o town_n or_o corporation_n and_o yet_o afterward_o omit_v the_o do_v of_o some_o of_o they_o be_v perjure_a or_o no._n the_o answer_n may_v be_v this_o that_o the_o law_n of_o every_o society_n and_o corporation_n must_v be_v distinguish_v some_o be_v very_o weighty_a as_o i_o have_v say_v be_v of_o the_o very_a foundation_n and_o state_n of_o a_o body_n so_o as_o it_o can_v not_o well_o stand_v without_o they_o and_o whosoever_o witting_o and_o willing_o break_v any_o of_o these_o they_o be_v good_a and_o lawful_a can_v not_o be_v free_v from_o perjury_n again_o there_o be_v law_n of_o lesser_a importance_n that_o tend_v only_a to_o maintain_v decent_a order_n and_o comeliness_n in_o the_o society_n of_o man_n and_o they_o be_v of_o that_o nature_n that_o the_o estate_n of_o the_o corporation_n or_o town_n may_v stand_v without_o they_o and_o whosoever_o upon_o occasion_n omit_v the_o do_v of_o any_o of_o these_o be_v not_o therefore_o perjure_a so_o be_v it_o he_o carry_v a_o loyal_a mind_n and_o be_v content_a to_o pay_v the_o fine_a or_o penalty_n for_o such_o kind_n of_o clergy_n whereby_o they_o take_v themselves_o exempt_v from_o civil_a court_n and_o from_o civil_a authority_n in_o criminal_a cause_n have_v no_o warrant_n because_o god_n commandment_n bind_v the_o nature_n of_o a_o oath_n one_o part_n whereof_o be_v invocation_n in_o which_o we_o pray_v unto_o god_n first_o that_o he_o will_v become_v a_o witness_n unto_o we_o that_o we_o speak_v the_o do_v a_o oath_n bind_v conscience_n if_o by_o the_o keep_n of_o it_o there_o follow_v loss_n and_o hindrance_n ans._n if_o it_o be_v of_o a_o thing_n that_o be_v lawful_a and_o the_o damage_n be_v
