colour_n of_o legal_a authority_n but_o mere_o upon_o presumption_n of_o strength_n to_o attempt_v these_o change_n to_o which_o it_o may_v be_v answer_v as_o to_o what_o they_o have_v act_v by_o way_n of_o authority_n they_o have_v a_o real_a authority_n so_o to_o act_v for_o they_o have_v it_o from_o the_o high_a authority_n in_o the_o land_n and_o it_o be_v manifest_o know_v and_o for_o their_o strength_n it_o be_v raise_v as_o be_v manifest_v before_o which_o be_v for_o the_o defence_n of_o the_o parliament_n that_o they_o may_v act_v free_o for_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o true_a liberty_n of_o the_o kingdom_n anâ—_n therefore_o they_o need_v not_o act_v from_o presumption_n but_o from_o faith_n ground_v upon_o a_o promise_n that_o be_v their_o way_n and_o in_o keep_v out_o some_o person_n that_o be_v a_o hindrance_n to_o the_o parliament_n in_o their_o act_n free_o for_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n in_o the_o liberty_n of_o the_o kingdom_n and_o such_o as_o have_v act_v against_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o true_a liberty_n of_o the_o kingdom_n witness_v the_o parliament_n declaration_n of_o the_o 18_o of_o january_n by_o act_v in_o those_o evil_a instrument_n nor_o have_v the_o parliament_n declare_v against_o they_o any_o such_o thing_n nor_o show_v any_o dislike_n in_o what_o they_o have_v do_v but_o rather_o justify_v what_o they_o have_v do_v by_o their_o declaration_n and_o this_o the_o covenant_n call_v for_o and_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o so_o to_o be_v charge_v and_o whereas_o it_o be_v say_v they_o offer_v violence_n to_o the_o person_n of_o the_o king_n contrary_a to_o the_o intention_n of_o the_o parliament_n in_o take_v up_o arm_n and_o that_o they_o divest_v he_o of_o his_o regal_a authority_n to_o which_o it_o may_v be_v answer_v when_o the_o parliament_n first_o take_v up_o arm_n the_o breadth_n of_o their_o charity_n and_o tenderness_n of_o his_o honour_n be_v such_o as_o make_v they_o to_o think_v possible_o he_o may_v be_v lead_v chief_o on_o only_o by_o his_o evil_a counsellor_n and_o yet_o they_o be_v more_o tender_a over_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n and_o the_o privilege_n and_o liberty_n of_o the_o whole_a kingdom_n and_o therefore_o they_o raise_v a_o army_n to_o go_v against_o he_o if_o he_o will_v oppose_v that_o but_o if_o he_o will_v forsake_v those_o way_n he_o go_v in_o and_o come_v and_o join_v with_o they_o for_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n and_o the_o good_a of_o the_o kingdom_n they_o intend_v no_o violence_n to_o his_o person_n but_o if_o he_o will_v not_o nor_o they_o can_v not_o obtain_v it_o no_o other_o way_n than_o they_o resolve_v to_o offer_v violence_n to_o his_o person_n for_o their_o raise_v a_o army_n and_o send_v they_o out_o and_o keep_v they_o in_o they_o that_o the_o parliament_n and_o army_n have_v keep_v they_o better_o than_o any_o in_o the_o kingdom_n for_o they_o have_v perform_v what_o the_o covenant_n desire_v in_o a_o high_a degree_n it_o be_v again_o say_v they_o be_v fall_v into_o such_o a_o condition_n as_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v bid_v god_n speed_n nor_o be_v wish_v well_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n answer_v what_o some_o dare_v or_o will_v do_v i_o know_v not_o but_o they_o have_v act_v and_o keep_v the_o covenant_n so_o faithful_o of_o late_a as_o the_o parl._n and_o kingd_v especial_o the_o godly_a party_n may_v thorough_o convince_v you_o of_o your_o sin_n that_o he_o may_v follow_v it_o on_o to_o bring_v you_o to_o true_a humiliation_n and_o acknowledgement_n of_o it_o in_o such_o a_o public_a way_n as_o may_v be_v to_o hiâ—_n glory_n and_o your_o own_o peace_n and_o true_a comfort_n that_o so_o it_o may_v be_v pardon_v and_o your_o soul_n everlasting_o save_v and_o that_o it_o may_v do_v good_a and_o keep_v from_o evil_a all_o those_o to_o who_o it_o shall_v come_v who_o he_o shall_v give_v a_o heart_n to_o read_v it_o impartial_o which_o be_v the_o whole_a aim_n and_o desire_v of_o he_o have_v act_v for_o their_o peace_n and_o for_o the_o safety_n preferment_n and_o liberty_n not_o only_o of_o such_o of_o they_o as_o be_v in_o parliament_n but_o for_o those_o that_o be_v all_o over_o the_o nation_n and_o therefore_o may_v be_v call_v more_o true_o saviour_n than_o rebel_n and_o for_o jesuitish_a practice_n for_o private_a person_n to_o murder_v king_n it_o be_v very_o evil_a to_o apply_v this_o to_o they_o for_o as_o have_v be_v say_v former_o they_o be_v not_o private_a man_n but_o public_a be_v set_v in_o public_a place_n by_o the_o high_a authority_n and_o what_o they_o do_v be_v far_o from_o murder_n for_o they_o do_v but_o bring_v he_o forth_o to_o trial_n which_o the_o covenant_n do_v bind_v they_o unto_o and_o he_o have_v his_o trial_n according_a to_o the_o power_n of_o the_o high_a court_n in_o the_o kingdom_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v call_v murderer_n of_o king_n nor_o in_o any_o degree_n to_o be_v hold_v forth_o to_o be_v such_o
